Oh, Patrick, I think I summoned her! Yesterday, CNN posted a short of a bear in a national park that was filmed walking a railing kke a tightrope. I said "that's nothing, you should see Ruby the pole dancer on (this) channel." Hope she gives all a show to remember!

Now THAT was adorable! I love how Patrick roots for the cubs to achieve greatness. I REALLY appreciate Patrick’s patience and dedication to recording bears visiting (and other animals). It’s so nice that Ruby trusts Patrick so much! She (like Simone) understands that her babies are safe with Patrick - and probably no other person. The cubs run to Patrick’s side and Ruby leaves the porch?? That is MAJOR trust!
We’ll never know what Simone and Ruby think of Patrick except they both trust Patrick far more than any other human or animal. They only get nervous if Patrick does something unexpected, and even then they just make a minor warning display. To me, that says they trust Patrick to understand (which he does).
I hope Simone and her kids just moved to another part of the forest and are safe and happy. I miss Simone, and mischievous (but adorable) Milo, who is probably huge by now.
Hi Patrick! It’s wonderful to see Ruby visiting again. She looks great and her coat is so lush, shiny and healthy looking. Her three cubs (aka The Flying Wallendas) are so cute! They look very healthy and they follow after her as if they are her three shadows. What a lovely family Ruby has. I know you don’t like it, but I was so happy when Ruby found the bird feeder with the seed and had a quick snack and spilled enough for her cubs to eat too. She enjoys it so much!! I also enjoyed that little burst of running past the exit that the cubs did. They sprinted very quickly like they got a jolt of energy! It was adorable! Hope she comes back for a visit soon. Ils sont adorables tous les quatre Et ils sont curieux, ils cherchent partout pour trouver de bonnes petites choses à manger... Leur fourrure est belle et brillante. J'aimerais pouvoir m'approcher assez près pour sentir leur odeur, savoir s'ils sentent bon. Vous avez de la chance Patrick, qu'ils se promènent tranquillement sur votre terrasse... Je suis sûre que vous prenez toutes les précautions mais ils ne semblent pas du tout agressifs. Ils ont confiance en vous et Ruby vous connaît... Bonne journée à vous et aux ours si beaux et si libres .
Ils sont sauvages. Il ne faut SURTOUT pas s'approcher d'eux en AUCUN cas. Ils respectent Patrick d'ailleurs car il respect leur intimité et ne s'approche pas d'eux donc ils se sentent en sécurité.

I have things that I needed to order on Amazon, but the second I opened my iPad and saw "Ruby and the Flying Wallendas," it was like, Amazon can wait. Oh my freakin gosh! This has got to be at least in the top five of the best Patrick videos ever. Right from the beginning. Ruby actually enters the porch the right way for once. Then she stops, and I'm thinking, don't tell me she's gonna turn around and go up the hard way. Sure enough. There she goes. And the baby got up and around the pole just like its mama, without blinking an eye! Ruby's got some incredible genes! My heart was in my throat the whole time he was up there, but he got around like he'd been doing it for years. And then the jump; and then the zoomies, and the sound of those little claws on the porch. And along with this, your hilarious dry humor. I was laughing out loud the whole time. My neighbor's living room is right next to mine. The walls are thin, and I know he heard me and he knows I live alone. I can't imagine what he was thinking, lol. This was absolutely the best. Just amazing. Thank you so much Patrick. You always make my day better. 😂🐻🧸🧸🧸🥰

À 7h00 du matin, heure française, c’est un superbe cadeau de recevoir Ruby et ses petits🐻🐻🐻sur mon écran cependant, j’ai cru qu’il y avait une erreur…Ruby passant le seuil de la porte🙃elle qui ne passe que par la « fenêtre » pour faire la funambule. OUF! Elle s’est souvenue et la mangeoire, de nouveau, n’a pas résisté. Les trois oursons d’amour🐻♥️🐻♥️🐻♥️ont une maman superbe, à la chevelure éclatante et tous les trois nous ont montré leurs talents de trotteurs🐎🐎🐎et ça fait du bruit😛

The cub that used Mom's back as a step stool is very creative, that was so funny ! I like when they stand on their hind legs too, they're so tiny and yet so brave ! It just makes my day to see these little families in action !
Love Ruby evaluating the landscapers; caution and curiosity. Plus, if you were your usual relaxed self, there clearly wasn't much to worry about. And of course the Wallendas took their cues from her.

LOL! Yep! At least one of these little guys sure has Mama Ruby's athletic genes in his blood - a bold ascent to the railing and an excellent pole twist thrown in! As for Ruby, that's the first time I've seen her take the normal route up to the porch, but then reverse back and ascend the usual hard way! A beautiful little family! Thanks Patrick! ❤✌🐻
Patrick, I'm glad you don't mind your place getting scratched & let the bears visit you. I put animals first, too! Iver the years, I've had my different neighbours dogs & cats in my yard. Running around or resting. It'd be nice to pat & cuddle the bears! But, I know you can't! 🙂🙋♀️🇦🇺
For years now, I've hardly been able to tell the difference in how I love dogs, cats, birds and horses - mine or my friends. Guess once animals find your heart, it's all the same. 🩵

Those darling tykes are so teensy I think 'kids we are going to Patrick's Porch for magic sky seeds, now behave' is one of thier first outings that the bear moms plan because they feel 💯 safe. I swear the one cub hesitiating to climb completely up understood you. The cub scramble expressions as they computed what to do, priceless😍 To see these Moms and babies in the wild like this is such a happy rare gift, thank you again for sharing the joy with us all!🙏🏻 🫶🏻✨

OMG I was sick yesterday and didn't see this until this am. Patrick you have no idea how HAPPY I am seeing Ruby and her precious 3 little cubs!! (The Flying Wallendas😂) The little one that did that leap of death onto Ruby's back is a little dare devil & had no problem getting up on the railing following Mom!! Definitely a little acrobat like Mom! Got a chuckle when the cubs ran past the stairs!! I have to be honest ( I started crying when I saw the 3 little beautiful cubs!) I'm sure you were excited to see them again also Patrick! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING THIS FANTASTIC VISIT WITH THE CUBS! Can't wait for you to name them! Yay! I love this time of year when Ruby returns, and with cubs! I’m outside on my deck in Lake Wenatchee Wa.(in the mountains of central Washington state) having my coffee. Already saw my white tail bunny who lives under my snowmobile shed, the turkeys are up the street making their way over, the hummingbirds are on their feeders and the deer should be here later to munch on my cherry plum tree. Life is beautiful. Thanks for sharing Patrick ❤️
