As a 29 year old, this video speaks even more to me now than it did as a kid watching it on TBN and at church. Praise God for the seeds that these music videos planted in us! How simple for us to trust in Jesus, we have nothing to fear, for He is always with us!
I was watching some of these the other night and got nostalgic and wished I could see al of the Dry gulch team back together, for a little get-together, but yeah started crying one night cause of how much this show was a huge part of my life as a kid
Classic ! They had quite the ministry going on back in the day . Remember " Fire by night " too that showed Christian music videos ? The better days of the 80s & 90s ..I felt there was so much hope then. Seems like the world has chosen who it wants to serve nowadays.
I watched these constantly as a child. Amazing how they can stick even into adulthood. The scripture from our church conference prayer call was on this exact passage this week. Immediately this was the song I thought of. I had to check and see if someone may have put it up and I'm glad you did. Thank you. It helps sometimes to remember "fear not!"
2:38 to 2:44 That was unusual, but he knew God had already given the victory! He has already won your battle too, just praise for the victory before you see it too. He loves you and has already won it for you! :)
Christian Song: Fear Not! "Through the knock on the door, the royal palace of the king, it startled King Jehoshaphat who was sitting on his throne so much he just yelled out, 'Come on in'! You see, Jehoshaphat was a very good king; he loved the LORD with all he had. And because of this, all Judah was blessed throughout the whole land. Well, that servant just came blasted into the palace; so, he decided he could barely talk; he said, 'King, king, king, we're in big, big trouble! Oh, let me tell you what I just saw.' "Fear not; your God is in you! Fear not; just praise the LORD! He will fight your battles for you; there's nothing that He won't do! But you must fear not! "That fellow said, 'King, out in the Syria plains, there are soldiers far as you can see! And they have spears, swords, horses, & knives left at the sea by En Gedi. Well, there's Moabites, Ammonites, & other kinds of ites, oh king! Well, this doesn't look like any social call on. We're outnumbered about 100 to 1. I'm afraid they're going to kill all of us.' King Jehoshaphat began to get a mighty scared; then he called all of the people to pray. And God said, 'You won't even need to fight in this battle; just stand still & see salvation today. Fear not!' "The next morning, they got up real early. Then King Jehoshaphat had the strangest plan. He said, 'Instead of putting the army out in front like usually, we do, we're going to put out the band; so, the drums kicked it off like this, man!' "Could I have a little face guitar now? Yeah! They started moving a little bit then. Could I have a little guitar? Yeah. Oh, yeah. They started walking down the road; & they were starting to feel a little better; & then the orchestra came in playing; alright! Then the choir started to sing something like this: "'Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD!' (Pretty soon, they were praising God so much that they just forgot about everything else; & as they turn the corner down by the wilderness, ) "The look down by the watchtower, they saw the strangest sight. There were hundreds & hundreds of enemy soldiers laying dead from a horrible fight. You see, when all of those singers & musicians began to sing: 'Praise the LORD!', the LORD of Hosts ambushed that enemy army because His Word is like a 2-edged sword! "So, fear not; your God is in you! Fear not; just praise the LORD! He will fight your battles for you; there's nothing that He won't do! But you must fear not! Fear not! Fear not! Fear not! Fear not! Fear not!"

so just praise the lord and he will murder all of my enemies ? this is the opposite of morality.
Why is it Murder ?
Unfamiliar with scripture ^^
