I like how she naturally went to go help, but when she did and the mask fell of, it sounded like she was trying to say stop or stay away. I think that this implies that she is aware that something is wrong with her and that she wants to keep the girl safe from her.
I felt exactly the same way. Another cool effect was the extremely subtle tear that slid down the bunnies face. I guess it signifies something horrible was about to happen but it's not intentional. Imagine something that innocent not having a choice to hurt something else just as innocent. Poor things... and the "say hi to kandy for me." I hated it so much. Because we all saw what's wrong with Kandy.

Yeah and something like poppy playtime or bandy and the ink machine, having whole game free roam and maybe have a different objektives like one of them is of course to escape but one of them which never was a thing could be to save them and cleanse them of corruption cause the corruption comes from the sistem its self so i dont think it would be impossible to do that as long as animatronics can get traped/out of power/cant move/inactive. That was never an option in any fnaf game, there was always a sad ending and never a true good ending where everyone is happy so this one could have a chance with this plot idea from the videos
I was so worried that little girl would get hurt. It's nice to see that even when something was going wrong it knew it and told her to stay away, also it had enough self-control to not attack. It was also sweet how even though the little girl was scared a moment ago, when she saw the robot needed help, she tried to help it

Here's what i think.
Suzy is a very self aware animatronic. When her mouth fell off, you could see she was jerked by it. As if she had no idea of what's going on. And the next second, her eyes glowing red, yet she controlled it....for a while. I assume she was about to say "stay away", because she is (what i think) programmed to entertain and take care of kids. But the corruption obviously held her back.
I think,
the little girl, either escaped/ran away or something bad happened to her. But I genuinely don't think this whole story is going to be -'souls trapped in animatronics'.
In Ep-3, The "chichen animatronic" (I'm Sorry, I don't remember the name) would be somewhat good? But who knows? He's probably gonna show corrupted in the next episode.
These all are just my theories/opinions/assumptions.
@@Flarenne_Afton I think you mean Touki. It was shown in the trailer for the game that he was corrupted, so I don't think so. But it is possible that the girl escaped and gave the plushie to Suzy. And personally I'm tired of the whole "souls trapped within non-human bodies" trope. It's become so generic when mascot horror games started copying it from FNAF. It's nice to see something fresh. It's probably going to be like Banana Splits where the animatronics' code is corrupted, the difference being that the Kandyland ones are intentionally done so as we can see in Ep 1.

I love the idea of her not having a functioning mouth and just a voice box. When you have animatronics this advanced, you can’t always fit things like that into the face. Also adds a creepy factor.

@@asfrflagcommunity966 I mean with her face plate on more than the mechanism underneath. To create sounds effectively, the mechanisms behind her mouth would move a little but it is so much more difficult to animate a moving mouth onto mechanisms already built to move a different way.
I thin it was Interesting how she looks like she didn’t kill the kid. But it looks kinda like a Circus Baby/Ennard Situation. Either way, if this is gonna be a game or a series, do you thinks she’s actually gonna be helpful?

She's somehow like *Circus Baby* from Sister Location.
I like that the kid, despite already being upset, and now seeing something that's just really disturbing, is still mainly concerned about Suzy. Makes her more of a character, and even easier to empathize with. In a roundabout way, it also characterizes Suzy, if she can inspire that empathy.

i've seen lots of people criticize this project because they think you stole the fnaf concept and made a ripoff, so they're like "ehh it's nothing original" but i truly, genuinely love these little episodes. the animatronics are cool yet uncanny, i like their design, the cgi quality is AMAZING and it feels refreshing to have this kinda content without it being another fnaf project. it's something new but familiar and i'm here for it.
No people don't mind the FNAF part really it's the NFT part that people are criticizing which can you blame them, I was disgusted too
@@meriewanderer mm i'm not too deep into this stuff, i just saw like 2 groups of people complain about kandyland: the one yelling it's a fnaf ripoff and therefore it's boring and not cool, and the one talking about the nft part - which i'm not too informed about but it doesn't sit right with me either. i still i think the episodes are neat.

This looks like an actual movie. Suzy clicking her heels together to activate wheels for her to skate around is a cool touch to her character. Her design altogether is amazing 👏
0:40 The mouseman is there waiting for Suzy to help the crying child as a mere distraction. The hacker literally set her up😭😭😭.
1:29 So at this scene, they are fighting for control both Suzy and the Hacker, the struggle is an active pain for these animatronics.
0:15 the fact that you can *feel* the weight and torque of the cold, hard steel of the animatronic. She kneels down, revealing how large and strong their servos really are.
Even though she’s extremely sweet and gentle to humans, she has to be careful as not to tear them apart as they’re more fragile than she is. It’s like something out of _i, robot._

I think something that isn't talked about enough is the amazing sound design. I friggin LOVE the clanking and rustling sounds Suzy makes just by moving. The background ambience and music has such a lucid or hazy feel to it, combined with all the bright lights contrasting with the blank nothingness makes me feel like I'm watching a dream play out. I feel like I've been transported to a dream i don't wanna wake up from

I appreciate that this wasn’t “the spooky animatronic is evil.” I was fully expecting it to go psycho on the little girl, but the ending was far better in every way. Truly scary.

I will say these machines are really good, these are pretty much something I could picture someone making for a kids entertainment. The fact they don't look as scary as FNAF animatronics that went for a more 80s animatronic look. These feel alot more modern, not just the tech but just in their looks this feel like something someone would make for kids to feel less scared and have some enjoyment.

Bro I won't lie it's kinda scary thinking if Scott had decided not to make FNAF 1 we wouldn't have had all the good that came after.... Alot of bad came sure but not enough people realise how much good came with it too, stuff like this, 2 evil eyes, some of the really high quality fangames and so much more... I feel sorry for poor Suzy. She genuinely is a gentle, sweet, compassionate robot who loves kids. This was a really wholesome moment, before the stupid virus had to ruin it with its Five Nights at Freddy's grimdark.

I can't get over how absolutely stunning she is, then she had a really good prevention in trying not to kill the girl, everytime she was reaching for the bottom half of her face she immediately shut off. Then when she did turn on, she stated
"Help me."

@@gaming4life370 Fair, within sister location they were programmed that way by Willam because he wanted to kill kids effectively without being caught. Brining it back to the original subject at hand though, the animatronics are genuinely so beautiful to look at, I believe my eyes were on her the entire time. It gives a whole new twist to the story anyway when she decided to actually ask for help, she's showing desperation in not wanting to hurt children and it's so obvious at how badly she's trying to stop herself from doing so.

I’ve heard others say it in the comments, but this looks like a fantastic premise for a game. Maybe for this, we could play through the story as Suzy, an animatronic that genuinely cares for children and has to actively fight her own corrupted software.
Or play as the kid, maybe it could be multiplayer and one plays as Suzy the other the kid

When Suzy said 'help me' it gave me the same feeling you get from those FNaF VHS tapes. Also, I'd like to point out how much I love Suzy's design, she's beautiful. To see her with her lower face off and red eyes, it was really dark, because something so beautiful became terrifying.
Not really, I felt like Suzy was still beautiful without her lower mask, considering that I've seen a lot scarier and creepier in the female FNAF animatronics' true-forms.

I think its safe to say that if this gets a fan game, it is going to be one of THE most anticipated fnaf fan games ever. This could honestly be bigger than Security Breach. The concept behind it, the hyper realistic animations. I'm all up for it!

The horror is not the animatronic or what she might do to the girl, but the implications of the unexpected humanity and pain behind the animatronic’s actions. It plays so well with what we know and expect from this genre, that it messes with us the moment it doesn’t go according to the playbook.

I love all the little details, like the heart shaped audio holes in her ears, and the way she can roller-skate. Everything feels so precisely thought out, not to mention the high quality of animation itself
Fun fact: When Suzy is making her way over to where the girl is, you can see the guy who corrupted Kandy in the foreground watching Suzy go by
I really like what they did here in a way for story building. They set up one of those “kid about to die” scenarios in a lot FNAF related animations and games, but instead nothing truly bad happens. Instead of killer animatronics with a soul. They did animatronics with a soul. Which is refreshing as most FNAF games is just killer animatronics everywhere. It also means the story can go anywhere. It’s really hard to predict what will happen which I love.
when she bends over, even though she has a humanoid figure, you can *feel* the weight of the steel frame and the power behind her electrical Servomotors.
She has to be *very* precise and careful with her movements, as not to injure people, but still wants to interact with them

You can't look at most of the character designs they've shown off so far and NOT think of characters like those clowns in FFPS, Circus Baby, Funtime Foxy, etc. ESPECIALLY since it's the animatronics-gone-wrong trope.
It has SO MANY elements to feel like its own thing, character-wise, visual-wise, AND story-wise! But the inspirations from modern mascot horror games is obvious. It feels like OP is merely comparing it to FNaF and fan-games of it because, well - that's the easiest comparison to make. It's one of the pioneers and most popular in this genre of horror, after all.

This reminds me of Disney animatronics. With how you guys smoothly animate (like really, smooth and clean af), the movements, everything. Everything in this video is a piece of art. Thank you for the hardwork! Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Disney managed to create this kind of animatronic that has mobility. With how advanced their animatronics are, it probably won't be long.

First off, the animation is utterly gorgeous. Second, loving the story. I like Suzie already. You can tell she was fighting whatever what was trying to reprogram her. She really wanted to help the little girl.

I noticed how the tiling on the floor looks both shined and scuffed. Like years of use but also regular maintenance have happened - which is what looks real in a place like that! Wonderful detail! Not to knock the craftsmaship, but due to what I've seen so many other cutscenes and animators do, I expected the little boy at the start to not be fully animated as he hopped and skipped off, or that his shading would be off. But clearly he wasn't off, he was well done! Just looked like a dimly-lit child. The little flaws around the edge of Suzy's "mouthpiece" - the part that fell off is what I mean - I like that. It shows movement happens a lot there and also maybe from the maintenance done to her over time. Makes me ask "How many times has her mask fallen off vs being removed by someone on purpose?" The color scheme and proportions are delightful, innocent and clearly intentional. No part of these animations feels like an accident or laz "whatever, it's good enough".

Man! This looks so awesome! The animation is smooth and the characters look great. I just wish this wasn't an NFT project and instead like a build up to a movie about some circus/carnival that slowly gets crazier.
I do get the FNAF vibes with this for sure, but it is so cool and has taken steps to make it something else.

It’s so heartwarming that the little girl still helped Suzy even tho she told her to stay away ❤
I love how plastica she sounds!! As someone who’s been around cosplayers in armour made frome various materiels this is really acurite. Also I appreciate what her main mode of movment is on wheels, since a human shaped body walking is actually really difficult without looking wierd it whould make sense to use this sort of gimmick on a human shaped robot to help fight the uncanny valley. Also I love her voice when she starts glitching like she’s trying to say something but it takes a lot of effort/ she has to find the right word among her available voice lines, since she can say ‘help’ and ‘me’ befor she glitches out.
Also the heal click, ‘there’s no place like home’ and she’s asking for help, reads like whatever’s inside this isn’t thare home. (Candy Land or her body)
The quality of this animation is absolutely INSANE. This is one of the most well done animation on all of RUclips. This series deserves so much love and I’m so excited to see what’s coming up next. GoldenLane is professional level animation. You’re extremely talented and your work should be recognized all over the internet
Paused a whole bunch of times throughout the video, just because of how impressive the overall model’s design is put together. I even noticed, on her ears, that they are what looks to be a sound transmitter, or microphone to say it simply. I’ve just stumbled upon this video and this channel, and honestly, I am in awe of the whole concept of KandyLand. It reminds me of my own little fan-made FNAF OC group, that I’ve based each animatronic their own individual role within the “Cosmetic Castle”, being per say.. teaching children the importance of maintaining good hygiene!! With additional “classes” on make-up lessons!! But yeah, ABSOLUTELY LOVE SUZY!! Keep up the stunning work ~!!

i dont care about the NFT stuff this looks like an incredible game and i cant wait to play it!
i really like 80s inspired animatronics, but i just prefer the futuristic ones, they are just so interesting to me, to see a vision of a world with children-entertainment machines so advance that they can mimick human behaviors and movement nearly perfectly, and i think they can work for horror as good as the 80s ones

Her mouth does move, but only in a subtle way, as in frowning and smiling. It just doesn’t open to speak. It seems like a rubber lips on a metal mouth-area that has stretchiness to move properly.

damn , I was thinking the entire time "she's gonna murder that kid , just you wait" but surprisingly she didn't. It really felt like she was fighting her murderous programing. Also , the little moving things in her face endoskeleton at 1:30 and 1:53 were fucking terrifying ! Gave me chills
The quality is insane, the models stunning. I'm very interested to see the behind the scene of how this project came to be.

The human characters in this looked amazing. I’ve always found realistic people in animation to be uncanny but this video really brings them to life!
The fact that they do the storyboarding, modeling, voice acting, animating, rendering, etc and post in about a month is amazing! Cant wait to see more!

It's sweet how even when she is not in control anymore, it's within her instincts to not hurt the child immediately, she is soft to the core

Candy Land is a combination of fear of the paranormal and technological advancement. Fnaf 9 couldn't combine it organically, and you... don't know how you do it dude, you're just cool

This really is so well done- I adore these character designs so much, the transition from her skates back down to shoes made me smile like an idiot. You're doing a great job with these, I'm honestly tempted to join the discord. Still share the same sentiment about what a shame it is these are promoting NFTs though.

Loved the concept behind this animation. The character design is so catchy and the motion behind everything seems so fluid. Must add that I was glad it didn't end on a cliché jumpscare with the animatronic grabbing the child or severely hurting her or something grotesque like that. Fully support your guys' work :D

Genuinely disappointed this is an nft project instead of an actual game of some kind. So much potential in this team, I hope the artists find work after this because they’re making amazing stuff.

I thought she was going to grab the child arm and kill her. There was definitely alot of effort brought into this short episode and they did a very good job of tension as seen in the final moments of the episode. Good job!

idk why but for some reason i feel trust towards her, even tho she is beeing corrupted... it looked like she shut herself down and rebooted because her programming/she sensed that she might hurt the kid. besides her really pretty and appealing design i can see why she quickly becomes a fan favourite. great story telling here as well! explains a lot but also leaves room for our imagination. i can't wait to see more of kandyland!
I think it’s because she’s the only animatronic that closely resembles a human. If I was a kid I would trust her over all the other animatronics in Kandyland.

The designs are very unique. The animation is incredible. The visuals are appealing. Practically movie quality stuff here.
I just hope they lay off the NFT. I doubt it will end well. I'd say just stick to merchandise because NFT for quick $ gives bad rep... Especially seeing as they are hated and are labeled scams.
