I really love the Sister Location-esque design that Kandy Kangaroo has.
It makes him seem so intimidating imo.
The design reminds me of the glam rock and Funtime animatronics fused into on, obviously with Kandy’s very smooth entertainment intro of the glam rocks, and the robotic walking of the funtimes.

This legit looks like what we'd expect from the FNaF movie in terms of visuals and animation, and you guys made this for free. That's absolutely insane
how fluent and robotic the movement for the animatronic is, how realistically chaotic the movement for that human is, and all of the raytracing and lighting work; I honestly have no words, you guys should definitely get hired by Scott for the FNaF movie smh
EDIT: I've noticed this has basically turned into an NFT scam, fully. I stopped following the series. Something like Mariam Memories is way better and have the same-ish artstyle, I'd recommend other people check it out.

I love the character designs!! Just came from the second episode about Suzy and oml. Every new character I see I fall in love with immediately. I can see why these guys have their own theme park!
It was so cool but also heartbreaking to watch Kandy realize there was something going wrong with him… poor Kangaroo man just wants to dance! I love how both he and Suzy have their own personalities just in the way they move, even though we haven’t heard Kandy speak.
Kandy seems like he’d be more outgoing and energetic, where as Suzy interacting with small children and patrons would naturally be more gentle and cheerful.
Also I LOVE how Kandy’s tail has joints so it can move up and down like a real animal’s tail! The details in this animation work are ASTOUNDING!!
Actually, Kandy did speak! He said "Welcome to Kandyland!" at the beginning if you listen closely!

I can't help but watch this multiple times to maybe get more of a glimpse into the plot. After watching a few times I realized after he's corrupted that there wasn't actually a crowd. There's even a subtle difference in the applauding sound.
May I ask how you figured this out ?
@@vladmordred9627 See if you can pause it in time when comes out to perform both times. You'll notice these missing shadows of anyone sitting down the second time he comes out. It's hard to notice because his vision is now blurred and unnatural.
I've also worked with video editing and instruments for years so I can hear subtle sound effects that have changed.
An easy one to notice as an example are his foot steps. The first time he walks back, his foot steps are light and at an acceptable weight pressure. When he walks back out after the corruption, his steps are heavy and aggressive. I've even been trying to check if his tail movement seems different.
You can gain a lot from body language representation and sound effects when trying to deduce a hidden story of your interest. ♥
And lastly, always see if you can notice subtle environmental changes. I've been trying to see if any of the cables in the computer room have changed. To possibly see if it's recently abandoned or a little bit destroyed.
@@lunerlilly Also, the second time he came to the stage, after corruption, there wasn't any confetti or music or anything that seemed to have resembled his show in the first half of the video.
(Btw that is so interesting how you figured so much out in the first place trough your knowledge of video editing! That is some great Detective work over there! :D)

And the fact he was looking around for everybody but than looks down at us as his eyes turns red maybe he's looking at a child
I like it for the realism behind the script for this one. To me it seems like there was a company who hired a hacker or a random dude trying to sabotage the show for everyone, and when it all went down the drain, he was scared of the results and fled before getting caught by anyone responsible for the Kandy's show. And we can see this corruption starting to affect the park's other animatronics as well, like Suzy. After watching this, I'm curious about how did the show go with the corrupted Ring Leader. Maybe everything is happening simultaneously in these first two shorts, I think that would be an interesting concept for a bigger plot.

I love the animatronic design! So cute, yet potentially creepy. I'm definitely looking forward to more of KandyLand!! Please don't turn this into an NFT thing. You'll make more money off of keeping it a video series, and having physical merch like plushies and figurines. Suzy Snacktime is already my favorite character, and I really want a plushie of her anyways.

This looks incredible and I can't wait for the rest, but I gotta ask if you could try to not associate this with NFTs, I respect that it's your choice, so this is only a suggestion, but associating this amazing animation with NFTs could easily ruin your reputation, since NFTs are so widely hated.

I love that the design is based on the Funtime Animatronics from Sister Location. They have the moving faceplates and that peppermint. So awesome.
So realistic, that's exactly how I would imagine a real life animatronic to move around. It's so ominous to see classic animatronic horror in a hyper realistic setting. Gives it a whole new vibe and I love it.
But actually animatronic in real life is not as smart as those,they can just move curtain parts

I absolutely adore the way that Kandy here is very clearly putting one foot down every time he takes a step. It gives him this feeling of being heavy machinery , instead of a person in a costume. It feels artificial and methodical instead of clumsy or forced

This looks to have great potential and could easily be great for a game, a film, etc. that could probably attract a lot of press and money on its own. I'll join the others finding the NFT angle to this extremely weird.

Wow! This looks incredible! The character animations are very smooth and lifelike, and Kandy Kangaroo's design is very cool. There seems to be a glass bubble filled with candy in his chest. Is it just for decoration, or can he dispense real candy? The settings are nicely designed too. Some of those surface textures look very real. Thanks for sharing your creativity with us! ^_^
I genuinely think your team should consider reaching out to scott and collaborating on a series. It's a stretch but, if you could get the right pitch you could really have something solid here. Sadly though I'm not sure if you'd get a network to run it if you did get it approved. Netflix maybe but, they'd likely be restrictive and HBO max is cutting a lot of their animation but, still. Hazbin Hotel releases sometime next year so if you wanted to turn this project into a real pitch I'd highly suggest going for it. Especially if you can somehow convince the creators that this would help the brand. Considering the whole FNAF movie was planned and never actually happened.
The fnaf movie is in production right now by blumhouse and is going to be filmed in 2023

Holy crap, your animation has improved so much since the first ones I remember watching. Keep it up! I thought your skills had kind of peaked with the Evil Eyes animations, but this was even better. I was seriously thinking for a moment that the tech in the mask was an actual actor being incorporated through mocap or something.

I think "corruption" is a bit of a cliche with animatronic esque horror movies because in reality, a corruption would just be that the animatronic won't work at all, but I guess you can say that its good guy code aint working properly. Nowhere is this an insult to GoldenLane's work because this is prolly the coolest thing I have seen in 2022, but just sort of a discussion I want to open with people about the topic in general. Great stuff GoldenLane, looking forward to Kandyland!

I really appreciate the stable head jirascope while the rest of the body moves it really sells the ‘not in show mode’ walking of a robot as well as the subtle animation change frome smooth show mode to slightly more jerky. Don’t know if you care about suggestions but I whould have loved to hear more cooling fan and off putting ether deep or high pitched winning during malfunctions. Maby de-synced voice lines and animation, there’s so much I’m exited to see ether way!
Was excited to support. Unfortunate that you're taking the nft route, though. There's gotta be better ways..
