- This short video has a few shots of Sr. Clare Crockett, Servant Sister of the Home of the Mother, who passed away when the community’s house collapsed during the earthquake that hit the Ecuadorian coast April 16th, 2016.
Sr. Clare, 33 years old, was born in Ireland. She had been consecrated nearly 15 years in the Servant Sisters. This video is a compilation of different moments when she spoke about her vocation and experiences in the missions. The Universal Church was celebrating the IV Sunday of Easter, Good Shepherd Sunday (April 17, 2016), when the rescue teams found her body. In Mass this passage of the Gospel was proclaimed: “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. “ (John 10:27-28)

I may have never met Sister Clare, but her ministry continues, Praise the Lord, be happy for her. Jesus says "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." Her testimony is inspiring and may Jesus speak to all before it is too late.
Gone to soon but left a very meaningful life. Sr. Clare I didn't know you but after I watched your movie I felt like I lost a friend. Your an inspiration. GOD bless your soul and pray for us. 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤

Sister Clare looked tired, working with the children to understand good vs evil, and though at that time she may have felt she didn’t reach their hearts.....oh, but she did. She truly did. She gave it her all. Beautiful 🌹🕊🙏🏼❤️🎶. Christ was with her on the wood of the cross, and wood of guitar, bringing children closer to His Sacred Heart, and Deep Love of His Mother Mary. Pray for her and us. Divine Mercy, Saint Faustina.
Why she left so early 😭feeling so bad....l cried like anything...l didn't know untill today though l feel like known her for yrs and after watching her documentary my heart ached so hard l don't know why but feel like l want cry more and more😭

Totally understand your feelings. I got on the website, bought cd’s to see if it can be passed out at catholic school, for friends and myself too. Certain people are chosen for the time of life they are needed for, and by her own testimony, this beautiful Sister, I am sure, will one day become a Saint. Wait patiently and watch how the world changes through the Rosary and girls like the famous nun who came from a difficult area, and provided the Light of Christ and constant warmth and Divine Love from Mother Mary. Even Fr Raphael understands people who want to do something can by way of prayer and even the smallest of monthly help.....that will be my way as I have fibromyalgia and can’t do things without the fatigue and pain overriding my days, unless a miracle comes through. But, the songs the Sisters sing while on their pilgrimages, just last week, are so beautiful. Hope they put out a CD and sheet music. We need more religious Sisters! 🌹☘️🌹. Pray for Sr Clare. She’s listening 🥰 pray for these wonderful Sisters to never feel discouraged, all good things come in God’s time and He knows our hearts as does Blessed Mother Mary!

Que bella fue ,entregó todo de si y hasta el punto que se cansaba y no se quejaba eso es un santo ymas...Dios se la llevo porque se enamoró de su alma y no quiso dejarla era una religiosa entregada solo a Dios y se ve se ve mediocre son muchas pocas como ella.
Just a question... I wonder... did (or do) the church have a plan to prepare these poor nuns and missionaries to natural disasters, before sending them away in a "heroic" mission, knowing that they are vulnerable and exposed to these disasters in some parts of the world? Does the church spend time trying to avoid these tragic deaths, or do they just "dump" these good-willing professionals in these risky underconditioned buildings and sites, in the hands of "destiny"? Then families and friends cry while films try to show all as terrible "fate" or even worse as God's will. Let's stop being naive... maybe sister Clare could be alive and happy, still helping people as she liked to do, if responsible preventions were taken.. did God really plan to cut her life short? I don't think so... I think God knows how much she was so needed here. Church, stop manipulating stories, trying to hide your irresponsible acts. Not everyone is gullible, thank goodness.
Bless you, but she died just when she expected to, aged 33. We miss her but she is now truly alive! Luke 17:33 God bless!
