This April 16, 2017, Easter Sunday, we celebrate with hearts filled with gratitude the death of Sr. Clare and the candidates in the earthquake in Ecuador. In this year since the earthquake, we have been able to see how the Lord is the only one capable of drawing good from evil, even in the greatest hardships.

I can’t take my eyes off from Sr. Clare’s story. She inspires me so much how God transform us and mold us through our lives.
I love her dearly.

Our lost is always painfull.But the sisters who died in the Earthquake they are happy to meet there groom and finally meet their creator.We lost.,they won.Their spirits and example never disappeare.God is good He helps in Times of sorrow.The dessert will bloom and the pelgrims go home.Let is keep them alive in our prayers
Though I'm not a Catholic, I see the transparency in her faith and love for Jesus.She is in a much happier place now. Very touched with her life and testimony. God bless this soul.

Thank you Sr. Clare and Servant Sisters of the Home of the Mother. I know that it is this that Jesus and Mary want for all of us. In this time of terrible confusion, thank you for the inspiration and clarity that you bring to others about how to live in God's love. I can see that there are streams of living water flowing out from this Marian order. I too believe that Sr. Clare is helping me. I pray she is resting in peace in highest Heaven, and that the little flock of Novices whom she died with went straight to Heaven with her.
i never knew anything about Sister Clare. But came upon her scrolling on my cell phone. I pray to her often. For my grandson Zack. Who passed away one year and 5 months ago at age 26 . Thank you Sister Clare

She did not go alone but with her girls. Shes inspiring more people and winning more souls in her death than she would have ever done alive. Shes a modern saint and our prayers shes declared a saint soon. She's the Mother Teresa of Ecuador.

Two comments. One: God does not “let” things happen, as the sister said at about 1:45....God set things in motion. Nature can be destructive, as people can be destructive, whereas Nature’s cruelty is random, and people’s cruelty is purposeful. God gave us free will, and asks is to turn from disobedience and to love each other. Two: God is bigger than any wound. We know that he loves us, and will care for us when we need God, but we must seek Him, where He wills to be found.
It was a sad tragedy I bet for every uvf and uff and lvf and uda member I was dream come true with the girl coming from derry
Just a question... I wonder... did (or do) the church have a plan to prepare these poor nuns and missionaries to natural disasters, before sending them away in a "heroic" mission, knowing that they are vulnerable and exposed to these disasters in some parts of the world? Does the church spend time trying to avoid these tragic deaths, or do they just "dump" these good-willing professionals in these risky underconditioned buildings and sites, in the hands of "destiny"? Then families and friends cry while films try to show all as terrible "fate" or even worse as God's will. Let's stop being naive... maybe sister Clare could be alive and happy, still helping people as she liked to do, if responsible preventions were taken.. did God really plan to cut her life short? I don't think so... I think God knows how much she was so needed here. Church, stop manipulating stories, trying to hide your irresponsible acts. Not everyone is gullible, thank goodness.
