Does the other end user also have to have Zelle? Can you xfer across platforms like to any bank they have a similar app or?
Their bank needs to support it so it can go into their account. If you send money before the account is created, they can still set it up and recieve the money if their bank supports Zelle.
Do you use Zelle app or your bank account if it has the Zelle feature?
Does the person you send money to through Zelle have to sign up for Zelle on their end, or does it go to their bank account without setting up a account?

I set mine up in 2 minutes on my wells fargo bank app. It said send money with zelle -I clicked it- then I made a account. Think it ask for phone number, email, name, and what account to link it with (I picked checking). Hope you figure it out :)
I have Zelle but not through my bank--have only an app on my iphone. I want to stop the access to my contacts and cannot find where to do that--can you give me those steps? I don't want them to have that access, since I only receive money on a few occasions on this app. Thank you

Hey! So I believe you can add a debit card. I was commenting on someone else where they added their debit card to Zelle. I mentioned that they should test it out where someone sends them $1 to their email/phone number associated with their debit card.
Is the $685 from your checking account or you have to have a different account just for zelle use?

It all depends which account you set up your email or phone number with. If you use a phone number at BOA for an account, you can't use that same number with a Chase account. Hope that helps.

Yup. You can transfer between your own accounts. Just make sure to use one phone number or email on one account and a different email or phone number on the second account. Then you can transfer to yourself (as long as both banks support Zelle).
So if you use email will it show your email only or will it show your phone number?

Great question. No, they will not have access to your bank or be able to pull any money out.
Can you use Zelle to accept payments for online sales? Do you have to open a business account with your bank for this? Do you have to have a business license?
I'm pretty sure in the agreement it says somewhere that is isn't for commercial business use. Only personal transfers from friends and family.

You might have a different version of the app maybe. I think they have two in the app store.

The app is sorta useless if your bank already uses the service. At that point you do it all though your bank's app.
The app is not useless, it is just used as a merger. You can merge without that!

Thanks for the feedback about the intro. As for how it works. The email is just the thing that directs the money into your account. Similar to how a phone number directs texts and calls to your phone.
How are funds reinvested into a pie on M1 finance? Which allocation percentage is m1 using? Target % or Actual %? Tomorrow morning I want to remove AMT from my pie and replace it with CCI. I would prefer 100% of the proceeds from removing AMT are allocated only to CCI. If, when I remove AMT, I add CCI at 93% of the pie and lower all my other stocks to 1%, would the reinvested proceeds go 93% to CCI?.... Sorry for the wordy question but would love your expertise here as much as you can provide! Great video again!
Hey Derek! M1 Finance reinvests the money based on both actual % and target %. If one fund or pie is under their target % that's where the money will go. It distributes it pretty fairly if everything is normal. For what you want to do, you can allocate the funds to go into a particular fund if you'd like without having to change the percentages of all the other funds. I made a video about it. The send limit when I started was $500, and now its $2,500. Why is that?
When you just start out they limit the amount you can send. After 30 days it should be set to the normal amounts.

If I just downloaded zelle app and I connected my Visa debit card to app. My credit union is not listed with zelle. My friend wants to send me money thru zelle. Will it still go into my credit union checking account that is linked to my Visa Debit card, even though the credit union doesnt use zelle?
That I haven't tried before. What I would recommend is to test it with $1 and see if it works. Then if it does they can send the full amount.

All you have to do is type in your bank in zelle and if it's not listed it'll offer option where it says "my bank isn't listed" click on that and or scroll all the way to the bottom of their website and look for same option where your bank isn't listed then u simply type in your debit cards information like card number expiration CVV code and ur email and ur email and then ur all set!

Does Zelle send you a specific confirmation number? I sent money to a small business and they keep asking for a confirmation number. All I received was confirmation through my email stating that it had been sent but there’s no confirmation # attached to the emails or texts.
Hi Celestes! Yes, there is a conformation number in the email that you recieve after sending out money. It's called "Payment ID" it contains letters and numbers.
@@TruFinancials Mine for some reason doesn’t show that. :/ it just shows Zelle and then it says “you sent $$ to ‘persons email’”. I use the regular Zelle app with a debit card. I’m not sure if that changes a payment ID from showing up. I’ve used this app for a while and never seen a payment ID anywhere in the emails. This is just the first time I’m asked a payment ID from the person I send money too.

Hi Meg! Yes, you can send money between different banking institutions as long as they both accept Zelle. You could also technically even send yourself money through Zelle if both banks offer the service, you'd just need to use an email for one and a phone number for the other.

Nope, it gets sent to you with the need of approval. If someone sends you money you can just send it back. I haven't seen a way to block people with Zelle.
