Been binging your videos really enjoy your overall perspective as a new gun owner, myself being an original car guy that’s newly getting into guns, only about a year into ownership of my first 3 guns a canik sfx mete, sub compact shadow systems and a radical arms AR15. I find your videos very enjoyable and fun to watch also sharing a few of the same gripes you do as a new gun owner
😆Dude, these videos are crap. But thanks for watching. How do u like the Shadow Systems? Heard they're pretty much Glocks without the flaws. And cars, anything interesting?
@@Stormtrooper_Accuracy got into cars because my dad and I built a 1965 VW beetle together as my first car when I was 13 and driving that around through highshcool and learning manual made me fall in love with specifically the boxer motor platform so I love Porsche’s and Subarus and classic VWs and yeah generally that’s true of the shadow systems the quality control is really good trigger is pretty good out of the box and I just love the look of a more tactical feeling glock out of the box they run probably a little too expensive to justify but you really get what you pay for
Lol - borrow a 1911 (a good one) and shoot it and you'll know what the fuss is. I wasn't into 1911's until I shot one. Their triggers are amazing - I really haven't tried any gun that has a better trigger. The trigger in a 1911 is different in that it goes straight back. Stupid accurate. I have a Kimber and a Tisas in 9mm. I have 10 round mags for them so 10+1.
After I accumulated my first few pistols, I went and got a PCC (Pistol Caliber Carbine). Now I have several, and I recommend that for your next "pistol". There are many great options in 9mm that are well under $1k that take the Glock mags you already have, which will keep your costs down. Like the S&W Response, to the Extar EP9, and the Foxtrot Mike's Mike-9's. Of course there are the pricey Gucci one's too from manufacturers like CMMG & Angstadt Arms, to many others. But it's a good segue into owning rifles and other long guns. Just planting that seed...
I really like my sub compacts in 380 acp for carry. If you're a smaller dude and dont have gorilla hands they rock (plus they dont print as much). Anything thats a descendant of a walther ppk james bond gun. Like a makarov, cz 82, bersa thunder, etc... for me I love the very thin size and very minimal recoil. I can stack a full mag of follow up shots as quick as I can pull the trigger. But with 9mm in a light polymer framed gun I cant do the same. If you can stack with 9mm by all means keep at it!
@@Stormtrooper_Accuracy youtube gods recommend it to me. Started with your video about why you became a gun owner! Totally dig it though, too many total "experts" out there and I'm a newer gun owner too.
Just looked those up, really like the chiseled blocky looks of the P07. Bout to watch a few reviews on that Girsan. Both seem like great choices, appreciate the heads up Pheonix.
Looks like you got lots of full size pistols so where's the micros? I would probably go for a Glock 19 or Glock 26. The reason for that is you can use your Glock 17 mags for the 19 and 26 or use the Glock 19 mags for your 26. Glock 17 mag with Glock 26 will stand a bit too much if you're trying to carry giving the Glock 26 a pointless firearm LOL if you're trying to conceal it of course. If you don't conceal then no need for a 26. My favorite pistol is a Glock 19.
My 43x is a micro. Plan on getting a 19, but on the fence between the 19 and 19x. The Dagger's pretty much a 19 though, which is great since it takes the g17 mags also.
I have a similar 4800 set up, you have a great collection, curious about your 43X lower treatment, looks awesome. As far as recommendations, I love my Chiappa .357 50DS, looking to get the 3", 30DS revolver in olive green (or drab), to put in my CC rotation. Just for reference currently have a S&W Victory .22; Glock 43X, S&W model 39-2 (my late father's off-duty carry); Kimber Ultra Carry II .45; Bersa .380 15 rd. I was not happy with the pick foam, too giggly for me so I broke down and bought the Case Club 4800 foam insert for 6 pistols carry, its a game changer, very satisfied with their layout and ease of customization, check them out. happy shooting.
Thanks Don. I've heard great things about that case club foam you mentioned. How do you like the Rhino? I want one, but that's based on aesthetics. I'll still need to test fire. As for the 43x's frame, it's just a honey comb wrap from Handleitgrips.
@@Stormtrooper_Accuracy The Chiappa is one my prize purchases and I'm 60 so I've shot a fair amount of revolvers. It lives up to the hype of minimal muzzle flip, trit front and rear sights that are easy to use in daylight and nightime, dead nuts accurate and lower recoil being absorbed through your arm and shoulder. The cool factor is off the charts and that's comparing to S&W old school 44 & .357 mag large size revolvers my dad carried back in the day on the force. Even if you buy it and it's not your cup of tea resale is pretty good from what I've seen on the secondhand markets. What I like about the 3" is it's a solid block of 7075 aluminum billet with no seams meaning no dustcover over the barrel.
@donculver8671 thanks for chiming in Don! I appreciate your input since you actually own a Rhino. Those things are absolutely gorgeous, compared to conventional revolvers.
Glue the 2 pieces of foam together and then spray it with plastic dip or flex seal.... it will make it more durable and keep the foam from coming apart.... thats what i did with mine just a tip...
I love mine. I have a gen 3 and it shoots amazing. Swapped to a slightly heavier stainless spring and it made a difference in recoil. Just recently learned it will accept 9mm mags so you can just swap the barrel for a 9mm conversion and use g17/19 mags.
How did u cut it like that like to make them stand up that way ? I just bought one because of this video but I want it to look like yours can u please do a video
No probs, I'll throw up a vid to better explain. The foam is already pre-cut into tiny cubes. So it gives u the ability to pluck out the foam in any shape u like. Also, if u run a knife through your desired cutting location, it makes it even easier.
Next time, could you point the barrel right at your face a couple more times while youre checking if the guns clear. Didnt get a good look into the barrel bud
