    The best thing about this roster is that we have guys that other teams will want and consider for trades. That's a huge improvement. Next step is becoming a team that other players would consider as a trade/free agent location.
    This is the best i have felt about this team going into the season in the last 4-5 years.

    The most encouraging part of Game 1 was Charles Lee's post-game presser. How refreshing. He oozes confidence and positive energy, Gotta think we'll be competitive no matter who's on the court. Say so long to the beat-down jaded attitude we got from Clifford.

    I like the idea of Mann being a sixth starter type. Dammit, that fleecing is looking fleecier every day.
    If Tidjane can figure it out just 5 percent on defense, he's got a future.

  • @Jay.isaiah
    @Jay.isaiah 12 дней назад +1

    I love Tidjane on offense, but he does look so lost on defense. He doesn’t need Gleague. He needs 8-12 minutes a night, he just needs the experience to learn the game.

  • @lloydfarmer
    @lloydfarmer 13 дней назад +13

    Tidjane oozes the kind of confidence that you just can't teach. It's exciting as hell to watch when he plays like he did last night!
    That kind of confidence will also lead to nights where those same 3's clang off the backboard or miss it entirely and his confidence looks foolish.
    Let his skills and understanding of the game grow in Greensboro. He has a long future here, if we raise him right.

      He's a lottery pick! Sending lottery picks to the G-league has BUST written all over it. He needs to stay with the vets and work on his game with them while getting '9th man in the rotation' time! if you send him to greensboro it means the team never should have drafted him that high.

  • @brianlowe8618

    Whose team is it? Don't split hairs.... not now or a year from now. The answer is BOTH! Lamelo AND Brandon 1a & 1b... remember Charles Lee is coming from CHAMPION Boston Celtics where the Tatum / Brown argument finally dies.
    We are building a TEAM of depth. LaMelo is one of one and his skillset amplifies the the right players.

  • @rogeraffonso3570
    @rogeraffonso3570 13 дней назад +1

    Great game overall, Lamelo looked fantastic and playing bit off ball as well, Miller was great, not forcing any ball, I am not going to react on Miller not shooting more mid range in the first game. I was impressed by T Mann plays in offense and defense. Tidjane looked that he can fit and crack the rotation if the 3P continue to fall in pre season games, lots of improvement he needs in defense.

  • @lloydfarmer
    @lloydfarmer 13 дней назад

    Tre looked GREAT!

  • @MvHensley
    @MvHensley 12 дней назад

    Melo played great, although he was hitting the court like D-Wade after each layup attempt, which is scary. It's a small sample size but looked like Melo and Miles were playing two man and not wanting Brandon to get going. It wasn't until Tre passed to him twice that he got decent shots. Brandon also balked at easy mid range shots that he hit all last year. I hope that Lee doesn't ruin his mid game. Miller looked like he got frustrated with the lack of shots in the 3rd by taking a random short range shot. If the coaches decide to make Melo the one alpha and have Brandon and Miles fight over shots then we're not a playoff team. You need at least 2 superstars in today’s NBA. Defense was ok. We need a blocks per goaltend stat for Big Nick this season. TJS played under control and I like his confidence. The dude who bricked FTs at the end should be cut before the Heat game. Y'all are great. Thanks for keeping the off-season interesting.
