He got pulled away from the basket when Terrance Mann got hot. He wasn't able to be there to cover bad perimeter defense. Not exactly what I would call being unplayable. And lastly, Rudy guards the perimeter very well on switches. Check out his defensive iso numbers verses guard. One of the very best in the NBA.

Multiple losing seasons is bad for the players and the fan base. Indiana should trade Turner and get back a useful player back plus a couple of picks. Teams like Indiana need to have a laser focus on player development and drafting ..plus hope for some good luck. No superstar is likely ever going to sign there. I'd rather go watch a team that has a chance to win night n night out than watch one that gets their ass handed to them on a regular basis.
