I just don’t think Brandon having a 20 point game vs the pacers makes this his team all of the sudden.. Melo averaged that plus facilitating for the entire team the past couple years (and also played incredible those first couple pre season games). Brandon has been healthier but that’s not the greatest argument for being the franchise player, someone to build around... I really haven’t seen Brandon do anything else that makes me think he’s such a great leader, prove me wrong I’m open to discussion… I think there can be multiple leaders, whether it’s a vet or a rookie.. the leader doesn’t need to be the best player on the team a all times…I just think that until Brandon completely takes over, he doesn’t really have a case over Lamelo to be THE GUY, that’s just my opinion.

They both are the leader this team goes as far as both of them takes the team. I'm pretty much at the point where I think Salaun should start with Ball, Miller, Bridges and Williams/Richards. He seems to be a fast learner and the type of person who would thrive being thrown to the fire. Offensively he fits extremely well allowing us to jumbo size the line up making us hard to guard. Defensively he has some issues but I believe putting him against stronger opponents will grow his game faster. He's got the tools to be a great player and he seems determined to become Tiger Salaun
