    And how do you turn the .stl into a .stp or .iges? So it can be used in cad cam software?

      In all Artec Studio iterations, starting from AS 15, 3D models are saved in OBJ but can be exported in a number of formats including STEP, IGES, X_T and more. You can have a look at the various file options here >> www.artec3d.com/3d-software/artec-studio#specifications

    Thank you for the great Video! I just have one Question. What kind of textured underground mat is this? Is it available for purchase somewhere? It seems to be working quite well.

      That one was made by hand :) It is a standard black lazy-susan purchased from Amazon that then painted with a matte grey paint/primer. Afterward, a black Sharpie marker and ruler to draw lines for tracking were used. For Space Spider you can also use Artec Turntable, more info and price here: bit.ly/2JrzH31
