great review man, I am just not very convinced with the microphone, I was about to get a pair of these today, but I am not so sure if they would be the right fit? I wonder how it sounds when you've got people that are speaking in the background?
Aaron - Can you please advise if I should buy the evolve2 65 flex or evolve2 75. Which headset would you recommend for overall call quality and audio quality? Thanks
I've got the Evolve 2 75. Great all round headset for work and pretty handy for listening to music. The only problem I have is it's a tad too tight on my head and gets uncomfortable and warm on my ears after about two and half hours. I have to take it off and stretch it a bit, give my ears a rest--before putting it back on. The flex feature would be perfect for the Evolve2 75.
I have the same question. I opened the evolve2 75 for a year almost and loved them, but I had 2 mics fail on me over time. I get the impression from Headset Advisor than the newer 55 and 65 flex have improved mic quality but not sure
Thanks! Good review. How is the response time on sound with both phone and dongle, does the sound lag much when you watch a video? Have you tried them with a phone that have bluetooth 5.2?
I own the previous version (Jabra Evolve 65 classic - not flex - with the Jabra Link 380). Microphone quality is far better than what we can hear in the video right here. Does this mean that the Flex version have regressed in sound quality?
You missed one important test. Try to make a call when you stands close to the wall or glass walls, or sitting with hands behind your head. Such environment can make impacts to microphone NC algorithm . Your voice can fade out. Evolve2 75 has such problem
Thank you for the review. The hedset looks nice. Especially the way Jabra decided to hide the mic. But it's still not even close to the old cheap wired Jabra Evolve 20 MS in terms of the voice quality from that microphone. I'm wondering is it because of enormous modification of the voice to remove all of the background noises or just a bluetooth limitation...
I liked it when I got it then my ear cushion started dropping off by accident then one time it really dropped and I lost it. Tried finding replacements and I can’t find it locally so I don’t recommend getting it due to a design flaw.
Can I use this headset with interchangeable sides? Means, can I use the left and right side interchangeably - the piece with mic should be 360 degree rotating to make it work. If someone please answer this, thanks
Can you please confirm if you turned off teams noise cancellation feature or not when doing mic test? I know In an ideal scenario a person is not going to turn that off but just to rule out whether its the headphone that cancelled out or teams AI algorithm, i would suggest future testing should be done without it in order to remove all variables.
Thanks for the review! Question: how comfortable is the headset when worn for long periods with glasses? It's often said that for people who wear glasses, over-ears are more comfortable than on-ears, but you don't seem to have had any problems.
It add's white noise in the background when its connected to my iphone 14 pro, especially on calls. Very strange. If I just listen to music its not there, or if its only connected to my mac.
The only thing holding me back from getting an over the ear headphone is the problem with the earcups. It will disintegrate after using for long time. I hope that they will implement something like Airpod Max, with replaceable earcups. P/S: I am an android user😅
Before anyone starts on me, it's a different F-word in the title... 😁

Loved the video. Appreciate your work.
Making phone calls in a nosy environment means that others are probably listening. 🙂

How do you compare this with the evolve2 75 in terms if call/mic quality and price?

I tested under extremely noisy conditions. that could be why
Hi Aaron , is the sound quality good for music listening ?
Just got my JE65F. works good besides on a windy day. Really disappoints. The sound gets cut off, and several complaints from the other end.

Mine is a big head. Does this fit big heads comfortably? The headset looks small in the pics though.

i have a question, could i connect the USB-C plug directly into my ipad/iphone to use it for calls?
Thank you for your honest review
It's that worth to upgrade from jabra evolve2 65?

The mic in quiet rooms does not sound so good for the price.
Sound and performance of airpods pro 2 on latest 5E135 comparison please?

Test was done on Teams’ default mic profile, nothing was turned off. That’s why there was a phone test also as a benchmark.

Great review. The price is too high. Not really worth it.
Thank you!
Price is super high, I would rather buy Bose NC 700.
203€ in Germany.
~243€ with the charging pad. 😉
500$ in India
Anchor power con H700 is cheaper alternative
10:21 It cost what.... !!!
Holy wow!

They do have replaceable earcups that you can buy on Jabra’s website.
Jabra replacemt cups are like 15 dollars and you cite the 75 dollar max cups as a reason not to buy ….
