Thank you all so much for watch! What do you think about this movie? What do you think we should react to next?
After this you should react to the Third movie.
Watch Back to the Future III as soon as possible.
Must do 3rd one!!! My favorite trilogy.
Definitely watch It’s a Wonderful Life around Christmas time 🎄
You have to see Part 3 as soon as possible. The three together are so intertwined it is totally astonishing. Without a doubt the best trilogy in movie history.
Yes 🙌🏼 will do very soon!
Well said! Amen to that!!
Yes, all the movies were great. Parts 2 and 3 were filmed back-to-back, as you'll see how.
@@ajandselena After this You should react to the third movie.
@@ajandselena There is a family horror comedy movie you guys should react to, called The Monster Squad Kinda like The Goonies meet Universal Monsters. And a horror movie called The People Under The Stairs you guys should react to that too.
They intentionally created the future to be as ridiculous, crazy, and fun as possible. They knew it wasnt realistic
Back in the day it was mandatory to put the credits at the beginning of a movie because people usually didn't stay to see the credits at the end. The original Star Wars was one of the first and most famous to eliminate opening credits.
George Lucas resigned from a couple movie guilds and paid a fine in protest of the rules when he did that on Star Wars.
Arguably, Part 3 is the best but it needs Part 2 to set it up. All in all though, probably one of the best trilogies of all time. If not the best.
AJ's hilarious facial expression at 15:20 - Yes, that IS certainly Michael J Fox playing the role of Marty's future daughter Marlene in this movie! For real! 👍🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Haha 😆
@@ajandselena You should also find a movie called Theodore Rex Starring Whoopie Goldberg. Very good.
Rich Biff is in fact modeled after Donald Trump! lol
Hi! I'm Rogerio, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil! And YES, your reactions got this far! RUclips recomended me your reaction to Back to The Future "1" and I subscribed right away!
I watched The First one In a VHS around 1986, when I was 13, and The 2nd and 3rd ones on The big screen! I can Tell you guys, in 1989, The year 2015 seemed so Far ahead, that is funny to watch It now remembering How It Felt back then!
Keep up the great reactions! Waiting here for BtTF3 and the rest of the Jurassic Park franchise!
Wow that’s amazing! Thank you for supporting our channel!
One of my favourite movie trilogies of all-time. "Back To The Future Parr II" actually came out in the same year that I became a teenager in 1989, and it was also the same year that my youngest sister (I have three sisters) was born too.
Claudia Wells - the original actress who played Jennifer in the first movie - had to turn down the role because Part II and Part III (which were both made back-to-back during the same time) happened when her mother was ill with cancer in real life at that time. She was replaced with Elisabeth Shue, who was still enjoying her success in "The Karate Kid" and who would later return in the fourth season of "Cobra Kai".
The two "Back To The Future" sequels were originally going to be a whole movie entitled "Paradox", but they were turned into Part II and Part III as there was too much content to fit into what would have been a 3-and-a half hour movie otherwise.
Brilliant movie. Always good to watch again and again! 👍😁😁😁
Will have to check that out!
It's a tragedy that Hollywood can no longer create captivating, nostalgic, and original movies anymore. Everything is either a remake, sequel, prequel, or an adaptation of some book. Just looking back at movies from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000's. Those movies are SO timeless and rewatchable. Can't say the same about movies nowadays
The 3rd movie is GREAT!! It's the PERFECT End to a PERFECT Trilogy!! Trust me... You will LOVE IT!
The lightning struck the car and sent the Doc back to 1885
I would have tried to memorize at least one thing in that almanac.
Everyone misunderstands the 2015 shown in the movie. It's not supposed to be any kind of accurate prediction, in one of the behind the scenes specials, the writer and director say that they just wanted something positive and fun to contrast with all the dark, dystopian future typically shown in sci fi movies.
Interesting…
Very true. Zemeckis didn't want to do the future because there's no way to get it right and he didn't want to be roasted for being wrong, so they just decided to have fun with it.
@@ajandselenaI wouldn't listen to these fools. There are a whole videos you can watch about the things they got right and wrong about the future. The biggest thing I think they got right with video calls.
It wasn't bad makeup, it's the higher resolution we view the movie with.
Even though the the idea of flying cars 2015 seem preposterous now in 2024, just remember, Marty and Doc saw that future and either one of them could have done something (either deliberately or accidentally) to cause that not to happen. This could have been after Marty went back to 1955. The butterfly can effect anything and everything.
Very true!!
The reason why George was upside down is because it wasn’t the same actor from the first movie. Crispin Glover wanted too much money so they got someone else to replace him.
But didn't he sue and get a lot of money? I'm pretty sure he did.
@@creinicke1000Yes, and new rules were created for reuse of footage and likenesses.
It was Crispin Glover who was done wrong....
All 3 movies are like one long one. You can’t really compare the 3..
Looking forward to the finale!
We can't wait to see how this ends!
This one of the most solid trilogies of all time! It's cool how Marty is at the center of all three, but really part one is George & Lorraine's story, the second is Biff's and the third is Doc's. You gotta conclude the saga now, you've come too far & you won't be dissapointed!
The fuel is anything because they had hope that fusion reactors would be in use. They are still working on that tech. They also wanted to make flying cars but can you imagine the average driver flying?
Guys, so fun fact part 2 and part 3 were filmed back-to-back. However, the whole concept of part 3 was actually shown in this movie. If you guys were paying attention to the dashboard, it kept blinking 1885 great-great father mad dog Tannan, which you will see in the next movie. They gave you clues and hints. What the next movie was gonna be? You had to been paying attention to it.
No way! I missed that part! I can’t wait to see the next one! -Selena
Grandpa Geroge being upside-down was to help hide that it was a different actor in prosthetics and make up. Crispin Glover disputed with filmmakers and didnt reprise his role of Geroge. Crispin Glover ended up suing the studio and won a settlement because they used his likeness in this film, thus setting up an important precedent of rules for using an actor's likeness in a film.
Yeah, it was said on the first trilogy DVD set (at least) that Crispin Glover was very hard to work with in making the first movie, and for some reason didn't want to be there in the sequels. They had a different actor playing George in cameo parts in the good 1985, and old version in 2015 was upsidedown as if Glover decided to come back, they could hang him upside down.
I've seen all 3 over and over again since I was a kid in the 80's, and have the first and 30th Anniversary DVD sets, and can do my best to answer any questions you both have.
28:59 no he just felt like pointing the gun at him and say hello how are you have a nice day
You should definitely see the third part. It will be truly rewarding! You will certainly love it!!!
Please do Part 3. 🙏🙏🙏
Fun fact: Parts 2 and 3 were originally written as one screenplay. But, it was split into two films when they realized that too much stuff would have to be edited out in order to fit it all into one. So, they got Spielberg to get the studio to greenlight two sequels instead of one.
39:46 - The destination time on the time machine for "January 01 1885" keeps popping up by default because presumably old 2015 Biff hit it with his cane when he was first trying to figure out how to work it, damaging it. That's the time Doc was sent to at the end, because of that.
Love u guys . The 3rd is my personal favorite.
I'm pretty sure there was plan for a part 2. I saw this at the movies when it came out in 1985, I was 21 at the time. At the end of the movie when the car lifted up, flew forward and circles back around, just before the credits it showed on the screen "To Be Continued..."
The best making of was done by a youtuber, Captain Disillusion in a two part series, Back to the Future | VFXcool. Only watch it after you're finished with part 3 though!
The time machine has a glitch, it keeps changing the Destination time to January 1, 1885 - the Doc got it to show correctly by hitting it and said he needed to fix it earlier in the movie.
We thought we would be learning how to fly cars, but instead we were learning how to wash our hands.
Great😀reaction 💯👍👍👍👍👍👍🙏🙈 thank you to the both of you for your reactions
1. It's not often sequels hold up to the original, but this does. Thank you 1980s.
2.This one is the best of the bunch. The next one is inventive but I'm not really into the story. That said, it is the PERFECT wrap.🤩
3. The stunt woman that flew into the glass window partially missed and injured her arm.
4. Michael J. Fox also played Marty's daughter.
5. Sammy Hagar, "I can't drive 55"
6. Good thing Biff shoots like a Star Wars Stormtrooper
7. The tunnel at the end is the same one they used for Tune Town in "Who Framed Roger Rabbit"
Loving these facts!
Hopw ya'll watch part 3 soon
Part 3 is just as amazing as the first 2 movies. You HAVE to watch it! It wraps up the trilogy.
Surprised no one told you to stop before the spoilers at the end for Part 3.
Make fun of the inventions from this movie all you want, but they've also predicted A LOT of things accurately as well. Zoom meets/video conferencing, smart glasses, fingerprint tech to open doors, holograms, flat screen TVs, and the biggest shocker of em all. They predicted the Cubs would win the World Series in 2015. They also predicted that Miami would have a baseball franchise by 2015 which they didn't have in the 80s.
Bob Gale wrote along with Robert Zemeckis who also directed it. Amazing trilogy.
It's a bit tragically ironic that both the first movie and the second movie had scenes or subplots about Marty not being able to play guitar (in the first movie it was because he was fading from existence, in the second movie it was because of a car accident), considering Michael J. Fox would be diagnosed with Parkinson's only a couple years later.
Hi AJ & Selena, great reaction again. Oh yes, you have to watch Part 3.The 'Back to the Future' trilogy is considered the best triology EVER, a trilogy where all 3 Parts are superb, brilliant, and a masterpiece in there own way, but part 3 is just a super ending to a super trilogy. Hope to see your reaction as soon as you possibly can 🙂❤
The guy who plays Needles is the bassist for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Flea. The Red Hot Chili Peppers are a band from the ancient times that played something called Alt-Funk Rock, which is a type of music that was played back in the post Cretaceous period . This comment is mostly sarcasm. I can't be sure of how much you guys know, given Plutonium is new information to you.
7:36 - The Michael Jackson (and President Reagan and the other guy) thing is a reference to Max Headroom, a talking, computerized person on a tv screen from an 80's show of the same name.
A deleted scene shows Biff disappeared after got back. Figure Lorraine killed him in new timeline between 85 and 205 due to his violent acts and attitude towards her and Marty
I enjoy you guys, so I’ll give you an editing tip: When you’re editing these, it doesn’t make much sense to do a close-up on one of your faces if you’re expressionless and having no reaction to the moment haha. Better to keep it zoomed out or edit that moment out. Close-ups are for emphasis of a reaction 👍🏻
When you make something full-screen, you’re saying it’s important to look at. If you’re making a blank face full screen, the story that you’re telling with the editing is that you’re bored, which makes the viewers disconnect from your reaction video if you’re emphasizing lots of non-reactions, which is very anti-climactic. And you guys have plenty of reactions during this video, so it’s better to cut out non-reactions or leave the video un-cropped. Maybe your idea is to keep changing between full view and cropped views so that it doesn’t get boring, but it’s boring to look at a bored or expressionless face. Hope this helps!
“Why is he upside down”, literally 10 seconds, for the first time, after they say why he’s upside down?!?!
That was NOT a flat screen! It was a screen with a projector firing from the rear.
As for the special effects, they were great for the time, but it’s not like other movies of the time, or before, didn’t have great effects. This was almost at the peak of practical effects and great camera tricks. All of which is becoming a lost art because of over dependence on CGI. This way is so much better, just look at Star Wars episodes 1, 2, and 3 for over CGI’d movies!
Technology is making people clueless about anything that happened 5 minutes before they watched their last dip-dong video!
They are in an alternate 1985.
The director didn't calculate something. When Biff give himself the Alamak in 1955 and he came back to 2015, it should had changed to another dimension......
Yep it's different but it's just as good.
Neat fact they made a movie trailer for the Jaws movie for 2015 special edition is on yt
The reason the hoverboard was not working well in the tunnel is because it cannot be above any water. The tunnels pavement was covered in water.:)
One of the things they got right--well, two...in this film, is that in real life as of the REAL 2015 there is a baseball team in Miami (they're in the National League and not the American League, however), and despite being off by a year the Cubs did win the World Series.
8:50 *Witnessing Baby Frodo Baggins !*

OMG I didn't recognize him! -Selena
I liked the 1st and 2nd film the best. Next reaction Braveheart (1995).
Get ready for BACK TO THE FUTURE PART 3!!!
When I watched the sequel for the first time, it had been _so long_ since I saw the first one, that I didn't even realize Jennifer had been recast! When I then went back and watched the first movie, I was like "What the heck?!" It's also always bothered me that they didn't figure out a way to involve her better in the story. It feels like they didn't actually try very hard, and for me the backpedal really dampens the ending of the first movie, with its promise of the two of them facing a new adventure together, hand-in-hand, as a couple.
I agree! I think that has to do with recasting a new Jennifer
There were no plans for a sequel until the first one was such a big hit. The studio decided to make more films with or without the writer and director. After deciding to continue the story, Zemeckis and Bob Gale had to come up with a way to get out of 2015 and remove Jennifer from the forefront of the action.
I don't think the double neck tie will ever be in the future
Another great reaction! That tunnel at the end reminded me to say if you guys never saw it, please react to Who Framed Roger Rabbit! Can't wait for the 3rd one!
Also someone else plays Marty's Dad
There’s deleted scenes in this movie see them
In reality the Dad was upside down because they had to use a replacement for Crispin Glover. Also in reality real people with certain back problems spend some time hanging upside down to relieve their pain and symptoms that cause the pain.
this one has so many twist and turns and will be shocking far from the first back to the future.
This movie got in some legal trouble. Crispin Glover, the guy who played George McFly declined to be in this movie, so they recast his part to another actor to play the same character. Crispin Glover sued Universal for using his likeness without his consent. The case eventually settled, but you will never see another movie ever made (ANY movie, not just BttF movies) attempt to impersonate another actor in the way this movie did.
P.S. BttF Part III is my favorite of all 3 so yes absolutely you should watch it. All 3 movies are so solid, that there is no general consensus which one is the best. Everybody seems to choose their own favorite with each movie getting fair representation.
You weren’t supposed to watch that third trailer so you could go into the movie blind
defiantly do the next one after that here is a video game, a cartoon series, some movies with cameos and references, lots of documentaries
42:57 let's do the math on this you geniuses there's two Marty' and two docs what do you get the third pair at and what are you the third time machine
Bob Gale wrote the screenplay.
All 3 are good....... CULT CLASSIC

The first one is the best one, in my opinion, but the third is my favorite. If that makes sense.

Every time I watch part 2 I be thinking yo Doc any chance we can go back and…maybe off Biff if you what I mean if it doesn’t mess up the timeline more

Biff had cybernetic implants. That's how he grew like he did in the 80's retro cafe.
They had to do reshoots of the ending of the original movie because the actress who originally played Jennifer quit acting to take care of her mother who had cancer. They also had to add in Biff seeing them leave for the future for the storyline they had planned.
When old Biff returned to the future he was suffering the effects of basically erasing that version of himself from existence. Remember what started to happen to Marty when he changed the past in 1955. His brother and sister gradually disappeared from the photo then Marty started to not only disappear in the photo but in the flesh as well.
I have never understood why they added that shot of Biff seeing the flying Deloreon disappearing into the future in 1985....also at that moment he seemed like the OLD BIff - no more the Mr Nice Guy he had become after George whopped him in 1955....WHY did that shot need to be added in it doesn't seem to serve any purpose??
@@colinluckens9591 so Biff would remember seeing the Delorean in '85.
@@toodlescae You mean in 2015?....
It is already 1985 when he sees it...
@@colinluckens9591 I guess the wording was confusing. I meant they had to add in Biff seeing the car take off in 1985 when Doc, Marty & Jennifer left to go to 2015 because it didn't show it in the first movie. They needed that scene so he could recognize the similarity when old Biff sees Doc and Marty with the Delorean in 2015.

React to Part 3 please
You weren't supposed to watch the trailer for Part 3. Your patrons should've warned you. 2 is NOT better than the OG, which is one of the best movies of all time. But 3 is excellent. The second Jennifer, while not as gorgeous as the first Jennifer, became an Academy Award-nominated actress and also played many other iconic roles (Ali with an I in the Karate Kid/Cobra Kai universe, as well as The Boys and More). She's also still very attractive today. The most impressive prediction that BTTF 2 got right was The Cubs winning the World Series. They hadn't won a Championship since 1908 and BTTF 2 only missed it by 1 year as they won it all in 2016 and haven't won since. They also played a classic NLCS against "MIAMI" (although they were the "Florida Marlins" at the time) as the Marlins won 2 World Series since inception in 1993. They weren't even a franchise when this movie was made. Hill Valley is a fictional city. George is upside down because it's a different actor. Crispin Glover didn't return for Parts 2 and 3. He sued because his likeness was used without his permission and changed the rule that allowed Directors to use images of actors from past movies.
It's funny how you correct one statement and then in the same breath say something just as wrong! You're right that 2 isn't better than 1 - but it's certainly better than 3!
Agreed!!
Eh it's fine.
@@NoriMori1992 I disagree. And most agree that 3 is excellent and better than 2- which has grown on me through the years. The original has been my favorite movie of all time forever.

Many people fail to understand this fact. If Marty wouldn't react to the word chicken, from the second movie.. Then Biff would have stopped the Marty from part one.. Getting Back to the Future. As frustrating as it is that the Marty from the second and third movie with this word. It actually saved the timeline.
To all of you that disagree. Marty getting out of there, part 2 Marty, would have landed Marty, part one in the hands of Biff
