I love how this isn't just a reskin of totk, like it actually introduces new ideas like the piston flying machines, crafting tools using a combination of Ultrahand and Fuse, and the Aether portal, but it also legitimately looks like it could be an official Minecraft property released to the public.
Totk has springs perhaps people have just yet to fully unlock the potential of springs as a piston substitute.

I would totally love the Zonai springs to be reskinned as Minecraft Pistons. It would look like Steves Final Smash from Smash Ultimate.

The creativity of making the Deep Dark both the Nether and End really shows how much thought went into this. Making the Aether Dimension the sky islands was also a really cool detail. Overall stunning and hope that someone will make this an actual Minecraft map
Unfortunately, it doesn't make a great deal of sense. The dimension IDs imply the End is above the Overworld, not below the Nether.
@@unmarketableplushie Actually this implies that not only is the End above the Overworld, but it is also below the Nether, it's like a chain of dimensions that got fused at the ends making a cycle of dimensions.

@@camjk007 it's called the End because it was the end of the game's progression back when it was added in 1.0. It has nothing to do with its spatial location.
Minecraft maps don't have THAT much power.
You'd best have a separate fangame.
I cannot put into words how much I wish this was an actual game I could play. This is an extremely well-made video and it makes me yearn for a game that will never exist.

You can kind of replicate that with some mods in Minecraft. It's not gonna be perfect, but we already have physics mod(yeah, that's the name) and mo'bends to name a few.

At first i figured this would just be totk made with mc blocks, but this awesome! I feel like it really brings the two together and shows how oddly similar they are. Love that the sky islands is the aether. Such a clever way to make that transisition!

I WANT to play this. That drop from Aether all the way to the End is awesome.
I love that you didn't do the usual thing where the End is in space, cause the Aether works much better. And they're kind of a reflection of each other, Aether and End, like how the Overworld and Nether are reflections of each other. I also love how using a redstone machine would've taken long to get to the Aether, so you can jump into the portal from the ground that's literally so cool!

@@KadenzJade6447I mean it's definitely up to opinion cause imo the nether is a reflection of the overworld because it has lava instead of water. But the aether fits the end better cause they're both a series of islands but the End is darker and the Aether is lighter
Nether = hell
Aether = afterlife
End = Xen from half life
I love the camera movements and the animations for link are spot on!
Seeing the Aether in a Minecraft Animation in 2023 brings back memories

@@Wizardly27 To each their own. While I am a lover of the entire TloZ franquise, I cant deny Minecraft´s influence as the best selling game up to date. What they did was clever. Let people envision their creations and translate it into the cube style. Its foodprint will remain

2 of my favorite games combined into a giant masterpiece- i love how it doesn't look like a regular mod with like extra biomes or reskinned villagers or whatnot, it LITERALLY looks like if TOTK turned into minecraft
