From what I heard MQA filed for bankruptcy and Tidal is probably going to ditch MQA and offer their hi-res music in FLAC format. So if you buy this streamer, remember you're paying extra for the MQA licensing.

If you want to use this only as a streamer and you connect this to your external dac via digital output, how do you know if you are not using just the eversolo dac? is there any setting configuration you have to do in the eversolo? in the case you have an expensive dac like the T A 200, it would be a shame to use the streamer dac. This is the reason I am here! Always on the lookout to find a new digital pre/streamer to pair w/ my GaN 1. Considering U2 Mini, Minidsp shd studio, ifi Neo stream, etc. the new Holo red dds/streamer looks interesting, but I think you’d have to control volume separately? You can still upgrade the Bluesound Node gen 3 power supply, it will make it a much better sounding streamer. Teddypardo and pd-cf (pd creative) designed their own mods for this streamer. I have one from pd creative for the Node 2i and I am a happy listener.

The HiFi Rose can be hooked up to your flat-screen and stream concerts from RUclips and Apple play. Does the eversolo has this capability?
No, it does not.
I wish the A6 had a 6.35 headphone jack.
Very tempting! It says Roon ready at Eversolo's site. But Roon Lab site's Roon Ready partners list did not have Eversolo when I checked today. Any idea if it goes by a different name?
@@punjabisingh5238 Thanks! Just noticed that Zidoo owns Eversolo & Z is a partner.
Thx for the review. As someone who also tried the Hifi Rose, which of the two do you prefer?
Seriously? Get the EverSolo.
@@michaelwright1602 What do you mean "seriously"? I get the EverSolo is less $ but the RS150B has many upgrades spec-wise but the cost is very high.
Great review....is there a link on where to buy ? I could not find one.
Was the best streamer. Just updated the firmware, now it won't do random play of all tracks on the drive.
I've had to install Neutron player, which was really difficult to do.
Hopefully, they will correct this disaster of an update .
Thanks for review. What is the max external HDD with its power supply for listening to music via usb? Regards.
Seems like it's comparable to the HiFi Rose but at a way lower cost.
How comparable is it, sound wise?
Considering pulling trigger on Hifi Rose then this comes along!
Always the way 😊
now that the master is out how do you compare to the lumina u2
I had the U2 mini for a couple of weeks and sent it back because the app was not ready for prime time in my opinion.
Are you contemplating a comparison/contrast with the Fiio R7?
$1,300.00 full retail price in Canada
I might order one but how does it compare to Innous Pulse mini?
Yup, as per usual we get ripped off in😮Canada.
How do these streamers compare with using a Mac laptop or mini via USB into a galvanicly isolated DAC usb input?
Also, I'm using the Geshelli J2 AKM DAC
I know nothing about DACs and streamers, and these videos are popping up in my feed.
Would this device be the appropriate device to connect to my Onkyo stereo receiver so that I can stream the thousands of audio files from my computer through my family room stereo system?
Just bought the Fiio R7....I wonder if I should get this now and return the Fiio
The trick seems to be that you can't actually buy it yet. Maybe I should listen to the end.

"OMG, This is so bizarre. Sometimes it's available and sometimes it's not. One day 6/7/2023 I searched Amazon and it was there. I bought it right away. I just got it today 6/18/2023 (I'm in Palm Springs area CA). I'm searching for it today and it's like it never existed. It'd be nice if you could find it and it says unavailable at this time. But you get nothing on the search. All I can say is keep looking each day for it. Very very bizarre."
So has the dCS been replaced by the T+A? Also, how was the streamer connected to the DAC200 for this review?
What makes the Lumin (being just a streamer) so INCREDIBLY expensive???
Nice review! Can it be used to drive a classD amp directly? And can you turn it on/off using Roon remote app?
Looks like an Auralic. Especially on the back. Wonder how it sounds compared to an Auralic Aries G1.
If the DMP-A6 would have a headphone jack on the front i would order it instantly... All their devices got one and the top line don´t have it...
Does not look like it is even available in the USA.... It points to Amazon US store but this unit is not listed.

This looks awesome. Too bad it doesn't support Chromecast. Can't have it all, I guess.
Too bad Google didn't fully realize the potential of Chromecast audio.
Hello
I'm using the Dynaudio Heritage Specials, thank you. With class A pre and monoblocks. It's less a bit warmer than I'd prefer. I was thinking of getting the Qutest to use with the Node 3. I just want to inject a bit of air and detail. Thoughts?
Regards
Which mono blocks you using ? Im also struggling to get the best out of my heritage specials
Not available for sale yet? Can't seem to get it

what happened to your dCS Lina?
In the garbageo.
That was last months end game. 😢😢😢
So this would be like $200 cheaper without MQA.
Probably more like $25 - $50 I would think. But hey that'd be OK, if they'd drop it now that MQA might be going away.
The Topping D90SE which is MQA costs $100 more than the Topping D90LE which is the non MQA version as a comparison.
Yeah I wish they had the same without the DAC.
Why review items that are not available
Launch is 15th of May, here in Holland it is already available as pre-order.
Because they want to overhyped the product

If you want to use this only as a streamer and you connect this to your external dac via digital output, how do you know if you are not using just the eversolo dac? is there any setting configuration you have to do in the eversolo? in the case you have an expensive dac like the T A 200, it would be a shame to use the streamer dac. Thanks !
@@santinonn Eversolo to DAC with USB. DAC to amp with RCA. That way you are using your external DAC.
Yeah, already $1299. No thanks.
859 euros
@@y.t.nagging7169 895 euro in the netherlands. available from the 15th of may....
$859 on Amazon, $1,299 is CAD
Does this have a variable digital output like the NODE ?. would be great paired to the Peachtree GaN1 digital amp 🙂
Gan 1 is awesome
This is the reason I am here! Always on the lookout to find a new digital pre/streamer to pair w/ my GaN 1. Considering U2 Mini, Minidsp shd studio, ifi Neo stream, etc. the new Holo red dds/streamer looks interesting, but I think you’d have to control volume separately? The digital volume is the nut I’m trying to crack. Most handle it in the 24bit domain and I’m looking for 32bit volume (lossy vs lossless).
@@chrisfluke459 Check out minidsp flex digital
Hifirose RS250 or this?
Agreed - if it was all I had it would be hard to pass up.
You can still upgrade the Bluesound Node gen 3 power supply, it will make it a much better sounding streamer.
Teddypardo and pd-cf (pd creative) designed their own mods for this streamer.
I have one from pd creative for the Node 2i and I am a happy listener.
A streamer does not affect the sound at all. DAC does. It makes zero difference which power supply you use in your streamer :)
@@dingdong2103 but these are streamers/DAC's, so by your own reasoning it does matter..
@@SimplestUsername not necessarily. If you use the coaxial or optical outputs on the Node you are bypassing the internal DAC (including MQA).
@@dingdong2103
A streamer absolutely affects the sound if it has a cheap noisy power supply and the power supply in all Node models are cheap and noisy (and prone to fail on the pre N130 models).
@@thehawk05 Just stop already. It has been scientifically PROVEN that nothing that happens in the streamer affects the bit perfect transmission protocol. It doesn't matter how dirty the power is in the streamer, it sends communication packets which have to be 100% accurate or they get resent. There is only 1 or 0, nothing in between. You just don't have a clue on how digital interfaces work. I suggest checking audiosciencereview channels deep explanation on the subject.
