This double release allows one to revisit the glory early days of synthwave through the lens of Perturbator. Perturbator remains one of the key composers in a scene whose days were predicted as very short-lived, yet is growing daily towards reaching a decade of increasing popularity.
Volume II of the collection features nearly all of Perturbator's rare B-sides, compilation tracks, and cover songs.
These tracks were recorded during the periods of “TERROR 404,” “I Am the Night,” “Nocturne City,” “Sexualizer,” and leading up to “Dangerous Days.” Many of them would feel right at home on those releases and offer a chance for many to hear bonus tracks from those sessions for the very first time.
This material has been disparate prior to this release, existing on random Bandcamps, Soundclouds, and other various corners of the internet. Most of this material has never seen the light of day on vinyl, CD, nor even via iTunes, Spotify, or RUclips until now.

Love Vigilante 2084, Disco Girls and The Intruder. There's something utterly dark and weirdly mesmerising about the instrumentals in the latter track. Discovered that the dialogue and screaming in that particular track was actually part of a police dispatcher's training. Eerie AF!

Mon coeur et mon esprit se sont raidis et j'ai écouté avec attention cette scène de torture psychique et de désespoir. Je peux vous l'assurer, conduire avec cet album sans savoir à quoi s'attendre est une expérience TRES particulière.

25:59 This is Castlevania, but it sounds like a remix of J.S. Bach. Perturbator should make an entire album of remixes/arrangements of Baroque music, including Bach's Passacaglia and Little Fugue.

“Creature” is sounds very much like “Sexualizer” sometimes, and too sad that “ Aurora Haze” didn’t get on Dangerous Days
I think the intruder uses a real 911 call that is really disturbing, sounds familiar. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I also found that quite disturbing.
The call itself is sometimes disputed as to its authenticity, but most people (even former dispatchers) believe it to be real. The call was placed almost certainly in the late 1980s by a woman named Ruth Price who was murdered during the scuffle that can be heard here. The call is often used in dispatch classes to teach the importance of asking a caller for their location before all else.
He is the "new king of synthesized horror after all". I love how older albums preface with that description lol.

Pretty sure that's the call I heard years ago which still haunts me. If it is real I definitely don't think its appropriate for a sample, hope it's not real. Either way I found it very uncomfortable and I don't think ill listen to it again.

When The Intruder came on and i suddenly made the connection that he used the ACTUAL audio from the home invasion/murder of an elderly......fuck...my skin crawled. Thats dark, even by your standards, Perturbator.
