I’ve never played Lethal Company but I can imagine people playing with this mod, seeing a dog, using the shush emote to quiet down their friend, and then that friend proceeding to do the loudest yippeee known to mankind.
Up Next: We NEED to find a way to get a good speech-to-text thing going, so that you can trigger certain emotes. Like screaming will do the panic one, yippie will yippie, etc.
I think it'd be awesome if you could add a variant to the 'flipping the bird' animation where the off hand is cranking while the bird finger is slowly being raised like a flag pole. Then time it so it matches the Jester's song duration. Id love to slowly flip that bastard off in his own language, Ive died too many times to him.
thatd be hard cause iirc jester has a random song duration of 30 to 45 seconds or something like that. Maybe the emote could grab the jesters crank and mimic it?
Little heads up Ross, most emote mods have this weird glitch that prevents the game from loading new moons past the second day, so it might be a good idea to double check before releasing it. Good luck!!
I feel like what Lethal Company really needs is a traditional Cossack Hopak dance (the crouched down, arms crossed, kicking out in front of you typed one)
Whenever this gets uploaded, can you add an option to disable sounds from the emotes? I really don't want a full lobby of people spamming these and not being able to hear anybody talking, but I love the animations.

Wait you even got Zeekerss' blessing? That's awesome! I already found Lethal Company hilarious and impressive before but I just recently found out that they're also the one that made It Steals, another incredibly impressive game to watch, they seem like they're doing quite well at what they do!
Watching Ross flip the bird reminded me of when my daughter was 3-4, one of the shows she liked to watch sometimes was the Wiggles. They had a version of the finger family where each finger was represented one at a time. By the time it came to 'brother finger' the wiggles were just straight flipping the bird, and I had to stifle a laugh so my daughter didn't catch on.
@@l_Tea yeah, my thoughts were along the lines of having a fee hot keys that can have emotes switched out from a menu, so you can just link your favourites while still having access to all emotes from a separate menu.
Are the emotes going to be affected by sound modifiers like the drowning modifier or Inhalant? I understand if that would be difficult but I love the idea of hearing a muffled California Girls coming from someone with a crawler on their head. Also, absolutely love the fusion dance.
Depending on the sound source location, it should automatically via Unity's sound engine. as long as the sound source is tied to the player model, it probably will work
The biggest issue with these animations (aside from the big run taunt) is that there are no outro keyframes, or atleast a way for the taunts to revert to the idle pose without just snapping back to the default values when its done playing, which looks incredibly odd for taunts that aren't meant to loop, like the arms crossed one. Im not too sure about the coding logic behind these animations ingame, but there should atleast be a more natural reset for when the taunt is actually over without moving
I feel like it would be funny to have a praying emote, like the up down left right thingy Besides that though massive respect to all your hard work! This looks amazing and will make the game even more fun than it already is!
Emotes for the three wise monkeys "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" As covering your eyes and ears would make sense in a horror setting, and the third is similar to your "Shh" emote so that a user could Shh someone, and they respond by covering their mouth.
I like how it starts off like, we’re going to make a shush emote so that people know to shut the fu- up and about halfway through there are two people doing aerials and singing four big guys
I think I'd prefer these without sound tbh. Being able to silently do emotes is SO funny in base lethal company, and it also means that you can dance to boombox music. The emotes having sound is gonna mess with the immaculate vibes of base lethal company tbh
I definitely think the “useful” emotes (shh, panic, etc.) should be kept in a separate pack from the dances. Honestly the main game would benefit from having them. But maaaaan those dances are funny.

it could be cool if you could set up a check like "check if crouching" for a whole new set of keybind potential for example, when standing, 2 could be point, meanwhile when crouched down, it could be the family guy death pose these checks could also apply to checking for running, walking, holding items

Like a coilhead freeze animation. Using the noises of some enemies would also be very fun (and evil), like the use of the Jester's wind up in an emote would horrify players.
I would love to see if it's possible to have someone run like Ed from Ed, Edd, n' Eddy, where their entire top half of the body just sways in the wind.

Definitely this. The sounds don't really fit the style of sound design or music that the game has; they more clash with it than compliment it.

That’s all that I could think of at the time of making this comment, and I understand that some of these might be harder to animate than others so do what you can, and I can’t wait to see more!
