In this video me and my friends Vinny, Geega, Hacker and Giwi all play Lethal Company. But this time we're playing with mods, such as a Skinwalker mod that makes it so monsters can steal the voices of your friends and play it back to you. Such classics such as 'skibidi toilet' and 'ohio rizzler', straight from the Brackens mouth. This gets confusing, as you can imagine. We also have the mimic mod, that turns random fire exits into hungry mouths for you to walk into! Listen I'm just going to be honest with you we don't want to type this part of the description but apparently it helps search engine SEO so everyone does it. If you see this please don't tell anyone. Well you came this far reading all this, why don't you check out one of my friends channels above, they're pretty funny. Vinesauce Corruptions are really good, Hacker makes great music, Giwi has great videos and loves among us, Failboat is a charming/funny fellow and Geega makes great stream content.
If youre wondering the skinwalker mod makes my game stutter sometimes due to capturing audio.... YOUR PC IS FINE.

i think mimics would be a fine name, i wish they would go with that
I subscribed, but also when you said the word "Subscribe" the button had a rainbow outline around it in a little animation, how neat!

I hope the game eventually gets an enemy who takes over the body (and name) of a player, in combination with the voice clips, to actually fool some people, even if it’d realistically only trick people for a split second at the best of times.

I would but I changed my profile since so I don't fully recall. The fire exit one is just called Mimic I believe! The emote mod we were using is called 'More_Emotes'.

"I think [person] died" is probably going to be one of the most common and disorienting things the mimics could say.
I love how Giwi accurately called both mimics in complete confidence despite being 100% incorrect about fire exits not being able to spawn there
Yup, she kept saying how she had a lot of hours racked up on Lethal Co., but kept saying bs. The mimic on the catwallk totally looked legit because it had a mini T intersection on it.

Giwi is like the definition of Confidently Wrong in what few collabs I've seen. She's also a bit antagonistic for seemingly no reason from the minimal exposure I've had to her.
Fun fact, the first mimic door was too orange, and the second one had too wide of a light. Both were legitimate placements. You can even rarely get a fucked up room where two rooms generate on top of each-other and overlap, so you get two legitimate fire exits in one storage room!

i have seen a room with two legit fire escapes in the same room.

the fact that someone said that to avoid the worm, you have to "walk without rhythm" is definitively one of the best references i have ever heard for this game.

Well he is making his own emotes. And if Arin and Dan play it I hope they at least get Ross as well, I think 2 people isn't quite enough

if they play, dan will 100% die in the ship, because he will stay in the ship and the dogs will be there XD. that play through would be really enjoyable though, will take a while before they play it, if they do. They did play phasmophobia before so there's hope@@Shadowlily1112 (also in phasmo iirc they played 4 player so if they play lethal i think they would too)

i swear the creator of the Skinwalker mod somehow put an AI into it to decide which voice lines to choose, because i have seen so many clips of skinwalkers picking the EXACT scariest possible thing to say to you and it's terrifying

It felt like they gave up on stealth and turned into a self-aware and sadistic creature, resembling less of a Bracken and more of an alternate. Hoarding Geega’s corpse and using her voice almost mockingly, laughing when Ross recommended to get closer, and agreeing with him on not getting close before attacking.

The fire escape mimics only spawn where a fire escape can spawn im pretty sure
Idk anything about the mimics, but I can say for sure fire escapes spawn in both those spots all the time
One thing to note about the mimic exit mod, is that allot of the time (not all the time) the mimics say “feed” instead of “open”

I love that Vinny's strat to avoid attracting the worm's attention was a Weapon of Choice reference. That man knows about Walken in dangerous areas.
That line is a reference to Dune, where giant sams worms detect prey by the rhythm of their movement.

Imagine a monster that when it kills you, it's unnoticeable from your perspective, and you still think it's alive, but you just control the monster's body, and talk through the monster, but other people can see that you are a monster, and if you get close, you kill them.

i loved how ross was incredibly slow to teleport people away from the worm everytime, like he'd flip the case, but then... just stay there and not do anything until they were being eaten

There's 2 ways i know you can tell its a mimic, but 1 of them might have been removed
1, hit the door with a weapon, if it growls its a mimic if not its real, dont hit it 3 times because it will eat the closest player
2, this is why i might be removed, it says "feed [E]" instead of "open [E]"
There are more, the feed thing is one of several random differences between real fire escapes. Sometimes the door will be orange, or have the wrong text, have a wider light, take longer to open, have a different hand interact icon, and probably more.
I've only seen the 2 i listed, good to know there's more

The worst part of the Bracken isn't that it snaps your neck, it's the fact that it stalks you. You could be completely unaware unless you have a monitor at the ship or someone who is dead is watching you.
from watching the first few minutes of this alone, i can tell that giwi's laugh is so similar to ross's at 0:57 !!!

Giwi called both mimics despite being completely wrong about why they were mimics lol
Mimic tells are very, very subtle. The door thickness *may be* slightly different (not confirmed), the lighting is slightly different. But the most obvious way to find it out is if you hit it with a shovel or sign, it growls.
And yes, fire exits can spawn in both of those areas, I find them there rather frequently actually.

This would work better if lethal company weren't already so chaotic... because of the fast-paced edit, I can't keep track of who's dead and which voices are coming from where.
(It may also be that I don't know all these people's voices very well, or that I'm way too tired to be watching yt right now lol)

@@paigeofthebook both. I’ve heard people say that playing with randos suck but I don’t think that’s the case at all. I haven’t had a real bad experience with other players yet.
The more youtube I watch, the more convinced I am that all the popular youtubers just know each other.
I've seen someone use the strat of bonking the mimic exit with a shovel or yield sign, if it growls its a mimic. Just dont hit it too many times.

I think mimic tells are the color, the light, ‘feed’ instead of ‘exit’, a middle finger instead of a hand, not sure of anything else but there’s likely more. Also, hitting them works, but if they’re hit a collective 3 times they kill someone.
Legit, my buddy died to a land mine, and the bracken still stole his voice because the bracken fucking said I picked experiment, and I looked to see the bracken. I had my buddy's fucking body, so I yelled, "you get the fuck back bracken" and got so scared. Vanilla never scared me, but this mod scared me on a existing crisis level

At 1:15 the room can spawn a fire exit there. I've played over 50 hours and had that room without mods
I've definitely gone through a fire exit in the room Giwi is talking about lol unfortunately there was a fucking flee camping it though.

I played this mod with two other ppl but they didn't know what the mod actually did, so they've encountered those masked entities and one of them heard my voice coming from it from far away. It was terrifying for them when they realized it wasn't me, but for me it was hilarious.
I know it's been half a year, but I hope there's a mod that lets you hear the ghosts of dead crewmates spectating you when your sanity is low
