- In this video I invited my streamer friends to all come try out the brand new unreleased Lethal Company emote mod that I developed with the help of my friends. For the first time we get to people enjoy the 100+ animated emotes that we put together. There are so many hilarious uses people have discovered with our mod!

Hey guys! The mod still isn't out yet. We have a lot of quality of life additions we want to do before we do a public release. We still need to add 3rd person holograms of the emotes in the UI, sound settings/toggles, UI improvements, wheel customization and key shortcut options. When it's ready I'll drop a release trailer! Thanks for being patient.

PLEASE MAKE THE EMOTE MAKER
There's a mod that does this already with emote syncing, 3rd person view while emoting, sounds, wheel customization, keyboard short cuts/rebinds, etc. Don't wanna rain on the parade, but I think a lot of work is being done to create something that already exists?
The mod's called Badass Company on Thunderstore/R2ModMan
"mods turn it to the art category" had me cracking up
My personal favorite was Fyrus hiding the cat to prevent the team from selling it. They found it, but he'd hidden it where you have to climb a ladder to get out, rendering the cat immune to sale.
I loved Giwi just being like "he lives there now" when they left the cat behind.
You guys should implement a way to synchronize the emotes, it would make the mod even funnier!
In Guildwars 2, you can synchronize emotes with other players by using "/emote *". The first user to use /emote * sets a 2 second timer, and anyone else who uses /emote * will start their emotes simultaneously.
From what I understand of Unity mods, this should be absolutely possible.
I would even say we should have an option to view the emotes from third person as well, either with a toggle hot key or check box in settings.
@@spinarack11 I believe they were saying things about that during some of the dev streams, but that's why they had the 3rd person mod for now
theres an emote mod with synchronize where you press e, only problem with that is you need to pick that specific person who is doing it and with more than 5 people starting the emote the exact time is a bit hard
just download Badass Company mod… its what ruber ross is doing except its already been made, and its syncronized

Over 100 emotes animated by HAND is incredible. I can't wait to see to what kind of mad schenanigens the emotes will go haha! This will be fun to see!

Theres another emote mod that allows the mask enemies to use the emotes aswell, seeing this mod with that feature would be hilarious.

A wonderful thing you could add to the mod would be a sound toggle for the emotes so that they could be done with or without the accompanying sound. I do this with my VRChat models. Really useful if you have someone already doing the emote and sound so you can dance along without doubling up the song.
That is part of the plan as well as turning off reactions from monsters iirc.
They said somewhere they want a toggle and I think it'll be host preference.

The emotes are amazing, but somehow that Metal Slug sound clip at 11:49 for the turret did me in hard.
I love that Vinny and Ross are in the same friend circle. Makes my old internet heart feel a little warm.
One emote i havent seen in this game that feels SO appropriate in this game is the invisible boatmobile like just picture this. your scared ahh hell because you saw a bracken and suddenly your crewmate speeds past you as a thumper is chasing him. its just PERFECT.

Another emote suggestion, what about an oompa loompa dance? Could be hilarious after a friend jumps off a ledge or something.
If you wanted to go all out you could have versions with custom lyrics, so one for falling of a ledge, one for getting eaten by a giant etc etc

First off: this is already absolutely amazing. Second off: please, if possible, add a chance for the mask mimic to do emotes so you can have it dance at players

I was at Scribble After Dark in Seattle and Ross was telling us he forgot to draw the thumbnail for this video so he did it before the show and he showed it to us and I think that's neat

YAY! Im SURE they were gonna do it anyway, but I recommended the Caramelldansen Dance, so Im gonna make it my head cannon that Ross/one of the animators saw my suggestion, and they did it. :D
On a different note, I think an important feature to these emote mods would be some kind of model reset because these emote mods tend to break the character model. I have no idea how that would be feasible, but maybe someone knows.

Ross, my guy, I'm going to paraphrase a Fairly Odd Parents line:
The only time "Vtubers" and "Chaotic" are in the same sentence is if the word "are" is in between them.
It's virtually impossible to avoid this reality.
Gigachad emote is perfect for when you get ejected. "Yeah, I'm about to die, but I don't care".

I hope they'll add a way to queue an animation so that a group of people can be in sync for animations that require multiple people.

Kinda wish they went with the TooManyEmotes route.
1) you go third person to see the emotes.
2) you can preview the emotes in the wheel.
3) sync with other people emoting
4) Masked can also do emotes.
It is always glorious when a hobby and a profession overlap.
