Thank you for reacting to Jungkook. He is the youngest and the main vocalist of BTS. He is known for his stable voice during hard choreography. is a master with harmonizing and adlibs. "At age 15, Jungkook was tasked with the role of the only main vocalist in BTS. The role comes with the responsibilities of recording 90% of the choruses also adlibs, guides and backing vocals.
I thought about if I let this stand like that...
Suga used JK (Jeon Jungkook) as a vocal guide for his (solo) music/songs produced by him for others. The label told him not to because Suga's (Min Yoongi aka. Agust D for his solo work) "guest" singers were "discouraged" /tempted to use simlar techniques instead of their own style. So Suga did.
That said even RM (Kim Namjoon) has done vocal guides with his own voice.
Do you know how they do line distribution?
They all sing the whole song and the person that fits a certain bit the most gets the part.
These days that leads to a pretty even line distribution.
So...: nah?

FIFA choosed Jungkook to sing at the opening world cup ceremony, Rolling Stone listed him as one of the 200 greatest singers of all time, the only Kpop Soloist to be invited on BBC Radio 1 Live lounge, first Korean act to perform live on BBC The One Show London (sadly he was sick his stay in UK but did perform anyways), he was invited to perform on Good Morning America, only Kpop Soloist to do that, first K-soloist to perform at Global Citizen Festival. He is known to have the most stable voice during hard choreo.
He is called the harmonizing fairy. So you can expect spectacular adlibs with his incredible golden vocals. Thank you for the reaction.

I love love love your reaction! From a vocal standpoint, his 'Standing Next To You' Live on iHeart radio is my favourite. The vibe is completely different as there is a live band and you get a rock vibe of the song. Even if you've already reacted to the Jimmy Fallon live performance, it'd be so worth it reacting to the iHeart radio one, too. He never disappoints (nor do any of the other BTS members)! I hope you react to more BTS both as a group and individual members. A good and nice starting point would be BTS' tiny desk performance. Not too long and there is english CC so you can also understand the lyrics as 2 of the songs they performed are in korean. Thanks for a great reaction!

BTS members trained singing while running on treadmills for some time in the early years.
They are incredible in live performances. You can sometimes hear that they are out of breath and still singing perfectly!

JK! Well you've got 'the creme de la creme' right away. He's the Jack of all trades, can sing any genre, has the widest range, is an amazing dancer and is vocaly the most stable of the group. He does almost all the guides, adlibs and harmonies for the BTS songs. The main vocalist for a reason!
the widest vocal range in BTS? That is V. (also possibly the best lungs: there is at least one person that said they are surprised V doesn't loose conscious when he gets to his really high notes as he is a natural baritone)
The best dancers in the group: J-Hope and Jimin.

Suga used to use JK for guides but the label told him not to as it was... irritating? the other singers that were supposed to sing - making them tempted not to sing their but JK's style.
That said even Namjoon has done vocal guides.
This s how line distribution is done:
All members sing the whole song and than they get the lines where they sounded "the best". It leads to a really equal line distribution over a whole BTS album in the last few years.

Thank you for reacting to Jungkook. He is unreal in his overall abilities, such a magnificent performer. He just released an album Golden, which this is the title track for. He did a live performance at TSX at times quare which would give a good intro to the album in one video.
For BTS I really think their tiny desk concert is a good intro for the band. They sing 3 songs and you can get a good feel for their personalities and vocal abilities. (Also good for beginners because they sit still for it instead of doing choreo so it's easier to keep up with who is who.)
There is so so much, honestly, but you can't go wrong. Every song from the band or each of the members is excellent. They wouldn't settle for less. I hope to see you react to more and get to know them. I love your breakdown and analysis. 💜

Thank you for this. Jungkook is exceptional. He did a live at Times Square, which maybe interesting for you to react to. For BTS I would really love it if you would react to ‘The truth untold’ stage mix. The 4 singers of BTS perform that song. (BTS has 7 members, 4 singers and 3 rappers). 💜💜💜
I recommend checking out his cover of "Let There Be Love" by Oasis on the BBC Live Lounge, he was sick but it's so lovely! Or any videos of him singing his song "Still With You", he's sang it acapella a few times, it's so pretty 😊💜

If you want more Jungkook, you might want to search up a live performance of Seven (his big summer smash); the iHeart radio performance is with a live band and no choreo, but there are others
You can watch his Times Square concert in New York city, he was singing 5 songs non stop, plus with choreo wich is insane as always!!! But Jungkook is the main Vocal of BTS, so thats not very shooking. BTS is the best groop of Korea, now they are global known groop, they have one bariton, one kontra tenor and two tenor vocalists!!! And all has uniqe tone, V(bariton) and Jimin (kontratenor), u can check them too!! But only Jk have perfect pitch in the groop. And I think the most stable voice while dancing is Jk, and then V, they all great. But no one was singers when they came to the agency, they all trained to be singers for 1-2 years, Jimin trained only 6 month. Jk came to the agency when he was 13, and debuted in 15. He is turned 26 recently. BTS debuted in 2013 with 4vocalist and 3rappers. Many people thinks Jk was singer before he came to the agency because he was that good from the start, but not, he just have the talent thats why he was the main vocalist when he debuted in just Fifteen, he was still a baby😂, and his voice changed a lot like the other guys, specially V and Jk and 3 rappers
I have the perfect reaction for you since you are a vocal coach. Please react to Jungkook doesn't know Autotune. It's a compilation of JK going on live stream and other moments where he is taking some requests and sings in his room or other moments that he is just singing in natural settings. You will hear how effortless he sings and sounding so pitch perfect singing ad libs and runs, etc... It's believed he has perfect pitch since he rarely sings off key and sounds almost autotune. He is called the Golden Maknae (youngest) by the leader of BTS who, Jungkook joined BTS because he looked up to the leader who became a role model to him. JK is the youngest member in BTS and he is called golden for his exceptional ability to sing, dance and rap and many consider him the most gifted artist in kpop. He's among the top artist to be able to sing stable and dance fast choreography since he is really athletic and gifted vocally to control his voice singing difficult runs. What a love reaction and analysis. There's so much I'd love to share with you about JK and BTS. Don't even know where to start. However, you'd probably appreaciate to eventually react to some of his weverse lives where he sits and talks with us for hours and hours, however, most of the time he sings for us (often even takes requests). So there's a lof of footage of him singing, and he sounds like heaven.
Or when he sleeps, washes dishes, hides under his blanket with one arm out and flexes his bicep, watches his teammates on Suga's talk show, and many other unusual activities for a livestream. 😂 One of our 7 humble, hardworking CRACKHEADS!

The thing about BTS is they aren’t your typical boy band. They have 3 rappers and 4 vocalists- all of whom are extremely multi talented. They sing, rap, write lyrics produce act and dance - all to the highest standards. Jung Kook is their main vocalist - for BTS this means he does the majority of adlibs and harmonies - and the other 3 vocalists are so strong that you can pick any one of the 4 as the best singer and you wouldn’t be wrong
You know, the name of the show actually is *The Tonight Show,* and it is the worlds longest running talk show, first airing in 1954. It has been hosted by six comedians, whose names are added to the title, as "The Tonight Show Starring..."or "The Tonight Show with..."

I do not know much about vocal technique so I don't really understand what you are talking about but I love Jungkook and you sound so passionate about music it was a lot of fun to watch your video! Hope you will check more of BTS music! If I could recommend you a song, I would say please check live performance of "Your Eyes Tell" and "Crystal Snow" - both are by all bts members. There are 7 of them so I bet you would enjoy the variety of sounds :)

I see others are filling you in on BTS, so I'll just add one suggestion & a bit of trivia.
There are a bunch of examples of Jungkook singing, dancing & rapping live. I suggest starting with one of the live & seated BTS performances in addition to one ok JK's live streams.
As impressive as his breath stability while singing & dancing is, I think listening to him sing while seated & (relatively), relaxed can give you good analytical sense of his vocal ability + the foundation he gives BTS with adlibs, doubles, & harmonies. e.g. BTS Room Live, BTS Tiny Desk At Home, MTV Unplugged [this one has a high chance of copyright strike].
To hear him singing solo without any vocal processing, his livestreams are unmatched. It's usually just him, alone, singing - occasionally using a karaoke mic, sometimes using a better quality system, other times just into the camera.
P.S. The bit of trivia is that Jungkook (I'd argue all of BTS), sometimes uses adlibs as a way of demonstrating that his mic is live. 99 % of the time it's adding something musically, but there's that 1% - especially on Western broadcasts - where they flex a little bit on the people who accuse them of lip syncing.
I think he sung this best at iHeartRadio because he was dancing a little less. Definitely worth checking that out! Although he's an extremely stable singer, and it shows in all his performances.

I'll highly recommend you to check out his song in native language, 'Euphoria' is one of my favourites. Check out his performance of Euphoria from the channel, babykook97. It has English subtitles!
bts is a korean band. they have 3 rappers & 4 vocalists, debuted in 2013 so they have been around for 10+ years now. they have written & produced like 97% of their discography & they do a wide variety of genres. as u can see they have some solo projects too, but for songs as a group i recommend: take two, film out, your eyes tell, crystal snow (they all have live versions) & the truth untold (sung by just the vocal line).

Jung Kook has been BTS's lead singer for all of the over 10 years they've been together. They call him the "Golden Maknae" ("Golden Youngest") because he's the youngest of the group, and good at... pretty much everything he turns his hand to (singing, dancing, rapping, painting...). He's sung a lot of their guide tracks, and does many of the background embellishments and ad libs in their music (as you noted here-- the backing track is all him, too).
Music for K-Pop idols (including the guys) is generally pitched to where it's comfortable for female voices to sing along, so the vocals in the group (of which JK is one) include three high tenors and a baritone with an *insanely* developed falsetto range. (The other three members are primarily rappers, but they sing sometimes, also-- J-Hope, in particular, does both. In fact, we've heard all of them sing, now, on their solo albums.).
K-Pop is more than just singing, though-- it's a comprehensive entertainment package. Dancing is very much part of their performances, and they've developed downright Olympian levels of breath support through many, many long hours of practice (and, as I said, they've been doing this for 10 years, now).
JK's backup dancers here were his "dream team" of dancers and choreographers he's worked with before, that he specifically asked to be with him on this album.

Hi all of BTS are all talented they have been together 10 yrs so well trained and very talented They have all been releasing solo music this past Yr so there is alot to See. Jungkook main lead vocalist in BTS he gives me MJ vibes

JK is *main* vocalist and Jimin is *lead* vocalist (which in K-pop terms used to mean he is the one who sings for example the chorus while main vocalist usually sing the "real" verses)
Not that that is still that important as they are not nugu aritists by a long shot and all 4 have fantastic voices (even the rappers can sing very well - despite some jokes to the contrary for a certain rapper)

It doesn't have a "job description" related to line distribution, it's more a recognition about what can be expected of them and quality in their area and their potential on mentoring and guidance of others

He is my bias, since day 1! I highly recommend his album "GOLDEN" and the dance practice videos that go with them. I also highly recommend some of his covers, especially "Falling" by Harry Styles... it's so emotional! All of BTS are do 15:48 ing , are about to do, their mandatory military service! There is also a guide to BTS. I am 54 and am ARMY!!

pleaseee react to more of him! jungkook is truly an outstanding performer, and you can tell how much he loves being on stage (he has spoken about it countless of times, but it does show in his performance even if you don’t know that about him). if you’d like to, you can also check out BTS as a group, they all have very distinct vocal tones and it’s a real treat hearing them sing and rap together. i’m sure people are leaving suggestions in the comments, but their tiny desk performance, their ‘proof live’ and ‘festa room live’ are probably the best ones to start. and for more solo jungkook you can check out his times square performance and the iheart radio version of standing next to you (which has a live band and less dancing, so he could focus more on his singing). this is jungkook’s first solo album, but he has solo songs included in BTS albums as well, so there’s plenty live content for you to check out!

It truly amazes me when there are still voice experts who claim they have never listened to or reacted to BTS or the individual members. They are all vocal stars.

You might listen to the rest of this album, Golden, it showcases various different styles of his talent. Hate You is emotional, and personally I don't get 3D featuring Jack Harlow, rapper, but all the songs are fire. Or listen to BTS, the 3 all Enhlish songs have mega stresms and were popular in the US, but most fans, Army, prefer their Korean/ English tracks.
