Jungkook is deservedly The Main Vocalist of BTS and one of the most outstanding pop stars on pop scene right now as a solo singer. Speaking of showing off his skills in solo era, i have to agree. Even though he always was stand out vocalist for me in BTS with his singing abilities, especially live singing and versatility, in solo era he really got to showcase his true colors and strengths. Jungkook’s a phenomenal singer and I’m happy not only fans, but media and general public acknowledge it too. He deserves all the flowers he receives! Jeon Jungkook is our Global Pop Star he literally made soo big in Global Market with his solo debut general public loves his vocals and live performances he was always the golden one in BTS and I love that other members also appreciate and accepts that he is the best. RM truly said that there is no BTS if Jungkook was not there. He literally does guides for all the songs of BTS cover for other members if they are not present have the most parts in songs and even he helped Jimin and V in their solo works. He is the perfectionist he works on himself soo much to get better and better.
I'm not sure if you know, but an interview was released literally YESTERDAY (no problem if you haven't heard it yet, it probably took place a week or so ago) where they asked, "so are you the golden member of BTS?", and jk replied, "no, all seven of us are", so please don't spread that narrative. RM specifically stated that it was true for every member that there would be no BTS without them, and all the members support and appreciate each other's contributions equally. Jungkook works incredibly hard, and it's entirely possible to praise him for that without making him sound like the only one who does. Please be more considerate of the way your comments sound in the future 💜
Bts singing live is always something mesmerising to see, but jungkook is a whole different level!! He can even hit high notes while flying! His voice is the most stable voice I've heard! His live singing even sounds better than the studio's one imo! So excited to see this!!❤️🔥😆

Jungkook usually does more dance heavy performances. Since the iHeartradio Live performances were more vocal focused, that's why most people recommend that one first. I also loved those iheartradio performances a lot. But Jungkook does it great in both ways. All bts members are great live performers. But JK is just on whole another level. That man is built different.
He practices a lot on keeping his vocals stable, even with his exhausting dance routines, so I feel like when he gets a break from dancing and can just sing, he really goes all in and it’s so good. He could sing acapella on stage and still kill it.

Another great performance and a complete 360 opposite song is JUNGKOOK's iHeart Radio performance of 'HATE YOU.' If you react to it you won't be disappointed as it's a vocal heavy song.
JK is the only one that has been using that purple in ear piece with BTS/Army logo since 2018 as that's when I saw it for the first time. He is the only one that keeps using that specific one which is very recognizable. Purple is after all the colour of Army fandom and BTS💜
And since everyone knows Jungkook is a devoted fan of ARMY to the point he even tattooed their fandoms name onto his finger knuckles noone is surprised that purple is his go-to colour:-)

I love jungkook’s voice and I never really put to words what quality he has in his voice until you mentioned it here, his effortless switch from falsetto to the rich tone similar to MJ and JT! You should also check out the iheart radio song “Hate You” it is so so good…. His vocals are the beat at this one… some of the outside live one … he either had a cold or it was so windy and cold that he said it was hard to sing and apologize for not sounding better… he is a perfectionist… 💜💜💜
Please watch a lot more of Jungkook performances. He is the main vocalist of a talented 7 member bamd for a reason. His range is the widest and his live vocals are the most stable.

Each member has their own colored mic and yes, JKs is purple. He uses that for BTS group performances. As a soloist, I believe he opted to use a different one to signify his solo career. ARMY is fervently awaiting the time he will be using the purple mic again... when all BTS members come back as a group in 2025💜.

I was on my way to NY last month and had no idea that Jungkook was going to perform live in Times Square (where my hotel was located, coincidentally). I missed the show but got caught up in the aftermath - that was the longest it ever took for me to reach a hotel door! My cabbie at one point advised me that it would faster to walk the last couple of blocks.

They've all switched up their mics and in-ears a few times and will occasionally go back to old ones. JK has been using the purple in ears for awhile now, they have the BTS logo on the right one and the ARMY logo on the left one... at one time, one side was red and the other was blue (because together they make purple... his words).
I wish you reacted to his 'Hate You'. I would love to see what you think of his vocals im it. Especially since English isn't his main language and doesn't speak it very well. He is studying it though. Thats why he uses a translator in interviews.

At one point you commented that the high falsetto/head voice is usually attributed to Jimin, so it's nice that Jungkook can showcase that in his solo work. I know you haven't listened to much of their catalog at this point, but while Jimin does excel at the high notes, Jin and Jungkook have also sung them since the beginning. V can hit them as well, though he doesn't usually sing them as often. Just something to be aware of.

They've all switched up their mics and in-ears a few times and will occasionally go back to old ones. JK has been using the purple in ears for awhile now, they have the BTS logo on the right one and the ARMY logo on the left one... at one time, one side was red and the other was blue (because together they make purple... his words).

At one point you commented that the high falsetto/head voice is usually attributed to Jimin, so it's nice that Jungkook can showcase that in his solo work. I know you haven't listened to much of their catalog at this point, but while Jimin does excel at the high notes, Jin and Jungkook have also sung them since the beginning. V can hit them as well, though he doesn't usually sing them as often. Just something to be aware of.
