It's a pleasure ❤️❤️✨
I honestly hope and I always pray that your channel grows. Your hair is a perfect example for type 4 hair😭😭😭🔥🔥. Like I'm tired of watching tutorials of girls who claim they're type 4 hair when they're not and giving some of us false hopes about our hair. Thank you for the tips❤❤.
Amen ✨ Thank you so much, I appreciate this ❤️❤️
When she said, Jamaican black castor oil I said it with her because I know ukba that oil is really the girl🔥❤️

I love your South African accent! I visited a few years back and the country is so beautiful! Length retention is my problem. My hair grows but breaks off. I’m trying to really take care of it now.
thank you ❤️, speaking healthy hair into existence on your behalf ✨✨
Omg same 😔
Rice water might help. I had the same issue. I left it in overnight and the next day its like my hair strands got super power. They weren't breaking nor anything like that.
I said might because it works for me doesn't mean it's gonna work for you. But won't know unless you try
Your melanin is popping!! 🤩🤎 Loving the puffs by the way. 😌
thank youuu 🥰
This is actually the first Ted Talk on natural hair I've literally sat down and listened to 👏🏽👏🏽❤️ thanxx sis
pleasure ❤️ ❤️
Length retention is definitely number 1 for sure. I feel like most of us naturals focus too much on everything else but don't take specific measures to retain our length. Also that Top Class castor oil is IT sis yasss!!!!!
Sidenote: You're gorgeous! ❤
True true. Periodt babes, thank you sm 🥰❤️❤️
You are so beautiful sis.. hair is on point, skin is radiant and glowing 😭😭 just everything!!

Such a great video! I’ve been natural for a few months so I definitely can’t wait to implement these tips and see how much my hair grows okay

finally 🥰
Thank you for posting a link on info about Zimbabwe! You’ve just got a new subscriber
thank you sm 🙏🏾❤️
The growth that you have from 2018-2020 took me 6 years
hair growth may be different but just keep loving and caring for your hair ❤️
This can’t be true tbh. She has AT LEAST three years worth of growth on her head. Her hair would have had to grow 9 inches a year for her to have all this length in two years. And I know genetics and some people are exceptions to the rule but that just sounds impossible.
Edit: I went to her Instagram and I was right. The pictures she posted two years ago (september 2018) have her hair looking way longer than what the thumbnail suggests
This is the first video of yours I'm ever watching, I think I need you. 😭✋🏾❤️😩
You’re beautiful I must say , I feel like your external beauty reflects what’s internal within you .❤️

eish babes thank you 😭❤️
Love love your content!! I like how you are so honest
You're glowing ❤❤
thank you sm 🥰
I’ve been growing my hair out since May, and One of the oils I use is castor oil. Can’t wait till I take out these braids out and see the results!
guaranteed growth, love that for you ❤️💃🏾🤞🏾 just be careful when you're taking out your braids and be gentle, I always get impatient with any small tangles and end up breaking my hair 😔
coffeenomilk should I apply water to my hair first? Before taking it out? I heard that makes it easier to de tangle the hair, and how your not supposed to comb out dry hair or something
Thank you so much for the tips. I have always loved using the Black Jamaican castor oil. I have also learned that what works for others won’t necessarily work me that is why I am going through my journey to see what really works and what doesn’t. Oh and you have an amazing skin. ❤️
That's great ✨✨ thank you so much ❤️!!
I love her voice and the way the talks😍❤...and that hair and skin is popping!!!😘😘...love your video💯🖒
thank youuu 🥰
You’ve just earned a new subscriber❤️
My hair is literally this length or maybe a bit longer and I’ve done absolutely nothing to it. I don’t wash it regularly. I don’t moisturise and I don’t even comb it well.
I honestly don’t treat the poor thing right *BUT* it still keeps on growing anyways due to the fact that my maternal and paternal sides have long and thick hair.
People try to downplay genetics when it comes to hair growth but I think that’s the most important factor one has to consider.
Preach! GENETICS - That is the most important factor!!! Never met anyone who said this. Everyone tries to give us some hair growth rules. But I have seen people who do these things and nothing happened with the hair - It was slow as hell! My sis don even do nothing to her hair. She just leaves the thing and it grows like plant. Me, I do almost nothing and a year and half I can say my hair looks good.
They all really need to stop downplaying genetics.
Oby Onwubolu This the realest thing I’ve heard since the month began🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 people do be praising products when in most cases it’s just in their genes
@@HazelJLMboya Really its their genes. Thank you!!
So true, I think they downplay genetics because a lot of them put in a lot of effort and money into taking care of it (mostly for length retention and not the actual growth which is genetics) so owing it genetics would be like taking away from their hard work
@@noemiamanuel2435 I feel you. I'll do same if I spend so much on products.
I'm so gassed to see a South African girlie out here in the natural hair youtube sphere this is everything!!
Loved all the tips! Also you're glowing!

The easiest way to grow ur hair IS LEAVE THE DAMN THING ALONE thats how my hair grew I used to open my hair literally a day after closing it smh💀😭
riggght!! louder for people at the back 😂😭❤️
Same here
How do i leave it alone tho..do i just throw it in a protective style and not loc it a few times during the week???

thank youuu 🥰 appreciate this sm!!
Found your channel today, love it x
What she said about knowing your hair is so important don’t let that go over y’all heads. I personally need to use heat in my hair at least once every couple of months (blow dry) otherwise my hair starts to get really tangled at the roots and my hair would really struggle to retain moisture causing a lot of breakage . But I have many friends that are against heat and their hair is able to flourish just fine. Know what works best for you ✨
thank you so much for this ❤️🙏🏾
Your hair is amazing 🥺😍especially grown in a space of two years wow hun!!
thank youuu 🥰
You’re beautiful and your voice is SO CUTE omg 😭😭😭💕

This is so true I have been using Jamaican black castor oil for so long and have never regretted....my hair is longer than yours but when it comes to volume yours is much way better

I love you...my fav RSA RUclipsr
thank youuu bby 🥰!!
My natural hair is my insecurity, because it does grow, but the growth doesn't show. That's why I always wear braids.
You don't need to. If retaining length is an issue, there are various ways to work about that. If it's shrinkage, there are ways you can show your crown. Although, shrinkage shows health.
I agree with Jessica, plus its just hair and you're more than that ❤️ sending love and light your way ❤️💋💋
sis you are goals, like wow.
thank youuu 🥰
Yasss i was waiting for thisss
finally 🥰
You are so well articulated and soooo beautiful!!! Thank you for the tips!!
I am the opposite cornrows don’t work for me I get more breakage but box braids help me retain length! That’s why it’s so important to know your hair wow ❤️ but you look beautiful 🥺
aww fr?? true true. Thank you so much ❤️ ✨
For my baby hairs if I ever wanna lay them I use Aloe Vera Gel from the Plant!!! Not only does it lay them but it also keeps them growing in thick and healthy. Unlike gels with alcohol ingredients which dry and strip away your hair. Hope that helps anyone cause she’s absolutely correct. Gels and those harsh edge controls will do more damage than good in the long run. Remember too much of anything can be bad. Save them for special pics or events if you want a super sleek look. Embrace those fuzzy kinks babies
im so excited for what God has in store for you!

Silk bonnet is R40 at Ackerman's. Its not thee best quality, but it does the job.

Seek God daily and you'll always move in his presence. Keep that!!!
You are so right. Ladies, listen, give your hair what it asks for. First, remember your genetics play a huge role. Secondly, what goes in your body nourishes every part of you. So good nutricious food and drink.
Do not just copy and paste other people's hair routines. Sometimes, you could have the same hair type but different porosities etc and somebody else's products may not work for you. I learnt the hard way. In my case, i wash in sections like she advised; deep condition regularly with my ORS or African pride hair mayonnaise; i also use the creme of nature leave -in conditioner (the only one that has worked for me), then i seal my hair strands with grease (kuza indian hemp or dax or doogro). Be tender with your hair. Oh and i know how crazy this last one will sound, but someone told me to talk to my hair kindly every day so i do not get mad at it or frustrated. Let me tell you, talking to my hair helped me deal with wash day frustrations. 🤣🤣
Underrated comment ❤️. Thank you for this ✨🙏🏾
Your Hair looks really healthy 😍!

I also went bald in June and my hair is about past my eye right now but the first couple of months I was convinced my hair was never growing back haha (I have straight/wavy hair btw I just like watching these videos lol)
I'm watching this again and I believe my hair will at least be that length somewhere next year😅 right on time 😌
I totally love your vibe. 💕
Y’all you can find cheap bonnets at Walmart or the beauty supply but It is definitely needed you don’t want to dry your hair bc that can cause ALOT of breakage and balding too mich friction between your hair and your cotton pillow cases

Your hair is beautiful... I really wish one SA RUclipsr could be a high porosity girl that I can follow... Black Castor oil does not work for me... but I love your tips, thanks for sharing💕
aww I've heard my high porosity friends complain about the thickness of the oil so I understand 🥺 I'll try fire up some collaborations and features after lockdown to cater for you Annikie, thank youu ❤️🥰
I'm high porosity, you could try olive oil or coconut oil.
@@maxine1246 thanks for the suggestions... I'm currently trying olive oil and Avacado oil... so far Avacado oil is winning... will try coconut oil then choose the best oil to stick with. I appreciate your comment💕
Mix castor oil with lighter oils, like grape seed oil, ,sweet almond oil, avocado oil, olive oil, coconut oil, etc.
@Deonna Hensley currently I use Aloe juice mixed with a bit of water as my leave in. What water based do product do you suggest I try as a replacement for water? A creamy leave-in or hair mist/spray?
Thanx for remembering the Zim struggle ♥♥♥
You're so well-spoken😘 and you're gorgeous!
Me: Is Jamaican, uses all these products, hair still doesn’t grow.
The best tip I can give you is finding out the porosity of your hair.It helps in telling you what products benefits your hair more.Just search up 'How to find my hair porosity'
genes play a huge role too and remember good products without good technique won't work well. But be patient with your hair ❤️❤️❤️✨
& consistency plays a big role in it as well.
Also how u comb ur hair matters... use the right comb which would be a wide tooth comb and not a rat til comb or any other comb that’s not wide tooth...also little to no heat ... especially no heat if u don’t know what ur doing... really check over ur hair routine and you’ll find the problem... also certain hairstyles done to often can stifle your hair growth or they could be kept in for to long
Keriana Lewis or don’t use a comb is better
In conclusion; she represented Africa. Court adjourned!
new subscriber and I already love it here!!
welcome to club❤️
I just subscribed. I'm about to try all this and give a monthly update.. and vlog it coz sis look ur hair is everything ✨
thank youuu 🥰 I hope it works out for you x
the only problem with me is that the sides and edges of my hair is GONE and i think its bc mainly because of the amount of protective hairstyles I would always put which is box braids
I can relate w my edges. I got someone to do my hair and she pulled the life out of my edges lmao. If someone does your hair I think tell them to not pulk like you don't want to be able to feel any slight pain on your head
Quite funny how I live in Jamaica and have no idea where to find jamaican black castor oil
lollll
omg fr??😭😂 I always assumed in Jamaica theres endless supply of jbco and its probably super cheap and all Jamaicans I've seen have great hair 😂🙉
