Hi. What maintenance routine and products do you recommend for this PPF? eg, do you pressure wash a bit more gently, use PH neutral foam & shampoo (or is there no need), and do you top up the coating that comes with the Xpel Ultimate Fusion? Thanks
Did you guys remove the GT4 badge at the back to apply PPF to the back bumper and did you have any issues with the air bubbles on the side air scoops where it says GT4?
Hi Dally, thanks for the comment. The badge was removed but only because it was it was inconsistent to the pattern when fitting then reapplied in the specific cut out area. The side air scoops can be a pain for bubbles but the dap has 2 options available. With and without the gt4 cut out of the template. With the cutout there is obviously no issue with bubbles but without the cutout we use xpel gel to help get the film in to the gt4 recess then Any bubble that appear are popped using a very thin needle. Hope this helps 👍
@@NewlookdetailingUk you guys have done a great job with this installation 👍🏻 Can I ask, with the cutout option, are each individual letters cut out or is it a square cutout around the entire GT4 sign?
Gentian Blue does look so good in person when you see the metallic flake in it however there are so many better colours to choose from with Porsche in our opinion. Thanks for watching!
Nice job. One question: why was the frunk left unlatched during the wash phase?
@@logwind just to allow easy access for ensuring all areas are prepped before ppf installation

@@joevecchio4687 congratulations on the order, if your local or passing your welcome to pop in.
What happens if there's a bad enough scratch on the PPF? How is that fixed?
Great question, if the top layer of the ppf is damaged it would need to be replaced
@@NewlookdetailingUk just that panel?
@@rsstnnr76 yeah or if it’s a bumper that is is made up of multiple parts then just the part that is damaged

Feel free to dm us on insta and I will send you a photo of the template @nld_uk
Why does Xpel have such bad orange peel?
Am I the only one that thinks the gentian blue is a boring color for such a beautiful car?
It’s just so dull!! Doesn’t do the gt4 justice.
