Thank you so much for posting the videos that you do brother! I am a behaviorist out of North Atlanta / North Georgia. I've been working as a trainer/behaviorist for the past 12 years and your videos have really helped me with explaining processes to new clients who are just at their wits end... Thanks for all you do for the community! You are truly the dog Daddy!!!
I have a question, about the hoe something around the neck. Doesn't that scare them? Or is it just a way to simply make the process easier so both the dog and owner can be happier
Beautiful. I always tear up when watching you manage aggressive dogs and get them under control. It's my passion to be able to do the same one day. I made your training style as a part of my own. I am more focused on rewarding with my pup, but thats because it's a 3 pound sheltidoodle and he likes to learn commands and execute them. But i deal with a lot of untrained dogs when at the dogpark. Sigh. The only critism i would have is try to reduce the audio when the dog barks so i dont have to adjust my volume constantly. Thanks for the awesome videos.
He does it very quickly and with minimal force. But he obviously doesnt make a video out of it when it doesnt go as well. But i doubt it ever goes badly.
reduction of dog's fear = reduction of owners fear = reduction of dog's fear etc. also, taking dogs on regular walks is required if you want your dog to learn how to interact with the world. great on you for helping people learn how to teach them and control them.
I saw dog daddy in Nashville, Tennessee, and believe me he is the best trainer. As I watch these videos, I’m still amazed. He’s the best and don’t let anybody tell you otherwise.
That is a Korean Jindo❣️I have a female Jindo that does not like men either or unfamiliar male dogs. She is the oldest and alpha in my pack. They are very protective of their owners and their property. They are very touchy too! Nobody can just walk up to them and grab them, they will bite. The older they get, the more touchier they get❣️🥰🐕
I’m not finished with the video, but I had to stop to comment how amazing you are with the dogs. You’ve been with this dog for just minutes and he follows your lead without any verbal commands. You go left; he goes left. You go right; he goes right. You speed up; he speeds up. You stop quickly; he stops quickly. It’s as if it’s a dance, but you have only been together such a very long time short time. You have a God given gift. 🙏🏼♥️🙏🏼
I have PTSD from DV, my kids too. 4 years free. I have 2 boxers and the male, was behaving like this, prong collar and DD helped fix this. Point is, I have just made the connection between our trauma reactions and hyper vigilance with Wilson’s reactivity.. They feel your energy so, it’s beautiful that this realisation helps us heal too, all together. Love from the Scottish Highlands , Pearl 🤍 & Wilson 🤎
I rescued a shepherd from the humane society who was afraid of men. She went after my toddler, growled at my dad. I just corrected her every time. Pretty soon she was great with my kid and dad. It took a little longer to walk calmly around men. She was a great dog.
I also aspire to grow up and become a dog trainer, and you have always helped me so much to understand dogs body language, and their psychology and I also noticed that nobody else really understands them and they don’t really want to take the time to understand them, but that’s something that I do want to do so I hope that I grow up and I am able to help dogs like you are doing ❤
Maybe you can work with this man one day… Just kind of shadow him for a summer or something? You never know? Good luck to you- the fur babies need you!
No! Its natural born talent! You can't learn this! You just learn what you doing works and start understanding while it works over the time if you keep comparing or just interested thinking.
DD reads bodylanguage of dogs so well, every detail he notices...he is also great in communicating with the owners...patient and very clear in giving instructions...a natural teacher!
@@canine_coach( I don't if you asked me the question but) I like to watch his videos because his presence with the dogs ans owners is so calming in them. The barking is another thing. 😁
So many people use harnesses on big dogs thinking they are training their dogs kindly. All it seems to do is make it easier for the owner to hang on while their dog fails to respond due to the lack of physical communication. That can easily escalate into a dangerous situation. Unless you need to physically pick your dog up to protect them or need a halter to pull or tote something, they are training training inhibitors that reinforce bad behavior. After initially using a training collar, my Akita now wears a wide web martingale on a loose leash. She’s a softy and can enjoy off leash dog parks. Great session DD!
I will try these steps with my 3 year old dog. He looks like a Chichiwinnie Jack Russell Mini Doberman Pinscher all in one. He weighs 12 pounds and has strength. He was moved from his main home to another family's home and then he needed to be rehomed again. and I wondered if this has caused him trauma or something more which I will never know🥺. I wanted to give him an opportunity and give him a forever loving home and I would not change it for anything. At home he is the sweetest, energetic, happy dog that wants all the attention. He gets along with the 13 year old Chihuahua. Listens to commands such as Stay, Wait, Sit. However, when he goes for his walks he can be reactive towards people/especially men and other dogs. It makes me sad yet I want the best for him and to help him with any fear/insecurities he has. Thank you Augusto for sharing 🫶🏻🐾
Love this format..you show how why and when of the psychology of the dog. Your approach to the individual need of each dog😊 Continue God work Dog Daddy of your gift to these dogs😊
Of course DD will win him over. He always does. Its just a few select human idiots that refuse to believe &/or admit that Augusto is the best. Even though I have total confidence with DD's ability & training methods, I have to admit that I'm still constantly shocked by how quickly he turns these dogs around. They literally go from scared & aggressive to calm & confident in a matter of minutes. Keep up the great work, Augusto!! 💕🐾💕
Its on the owner. I hate to bag on us as owners, but its on us to provide leadership to our lottle ones. I know shes emotional, and scared but a doggy picks up on these non verbal queues
I'm not even a dog person but it hurts me to watch owners keep a constant tension on the leash. She didn't reward him with no tension during the moments he responded and was doing fine. Nice progress though!
Just AMAZING! I have seen so many of his videos, and I always marvel at Fig Daddy's incredible gift and talent. Thanks for helping so many dogs and owners.❤
It is good that Dogdaddy is there to teach you, and train your dog. You have to keep up with the training consistently for at least two weeks, every day, then you can gradually slack off. Your dog will then be much easier to manage.
Cool lady and cool dog. I follow a few other dog trainers, they all get results but it's the way this guy gets results. Builds connection then communicates through that connection.
How fast this Dog from „ Don’t get near I’ll bite…“. To „ Let me go I will just run“ wow…and then the trust comes in so more and more… Always like a whole Avenger film in several minutes… so much is going on in this white floof.
I have to say you amaze me. I’m very big on the it’s all in the way WE raise them and train them and are with them. They feed off of us and look to us on how to behave and love. Like I couldn’t finish the video you did with that lady and the Doberman. Like I pray she gives that baby to someone who will love and appreciate him.. you understand and are just amazing
The beautiful transformation is such a pleasure to watch. The dog looks like he's actually seeing and experiencing his surroundings for the first time 😍❤️❤️!!! I couldn't help but notice the girl in the background (white top, pink shorts) with her small dog - she literally stood in the same spot whilst her dog orbited around her. I suppose the dog was, technically, somewhat walked!!!!
Nice work. Interesting with the walking aspect of keeping the dog RIGHT BY you and not smelling. Dog I am working with always wants to be in front but has decent leash manners but wants to,sniff everything. She is also semi reactive to,dogs but not all dogs.
Anytime I come across someone who’s seems like they need to train their dog better or just in general want to be the best leader for their dog I always advise them to check out the dog daddy. Hands down one of the best dog trainers in the world. I’m getting a place with my cousin soon and he has a 130lb female mastif that’s not trained at all and she hates guys. I’m very hesitant and nervous about her trying to used to me with her being so untrained. I’ll for sure be using everything I learned from the dog daddy when I do engage with her and hopefully help her become more trained and used to me.

Well done Dog Daddy. I never get tired of seeing you work.

I'm amazed at how quickly the dog responded.
Another dog and owner given new life by the Dog Daddy! Great job, Agusto and to the owner for seeking your help! ❤🐾❤️
His tail comes up as he begins to trust good old dog daddy ❤
👏🏽 to DD and to the owner for helping this sweet doggie get over his fear and to the Mama for being open and ready to learn.
All that drama from the dog and DD moves in and realises what the dog is going through!!

Look how his tail is even up before the end. That's how a dog talks to you. He is confident in his situation.
