Can you review the ROG Azoth? 75% Custom keyboard.
good review
@@Eyezore01definitely going to try
Can you test out the Zeb Max Ninja 200, Its budget pleaseee
do you have a unexpired invite to your dc?
It's good that mechanical keyboard options are getting cheaper / commoditized. None of the tech that make them is particularly expensive to make, especially at scale. I would say the reason this scale is possible is thanks to channels like this one, that popularize mechanical keyboards with a lot more people that "keyboard hobbyists".
Before I knew of all these options, I thought the only option to get a decent keyboard with a knob was to spend $200 on a "high end" Logitech keyboard.
Now u have a new signature outfit. It was white now it’s black.
I know why they used OEM keycaps, because their PCB is north-facing. If RK just went for a south-facing PCB, they could've gone for a double shot PBT cherry keycap set for this keyboard. They were so close to perfection this time.
I have had an RK with cloned topre switches for like 8 years, good to see them still cranking out decent stuff.
I had the RK84 which was a brilliant kb as it featured all the mentioned features here, but came in at about $110AUD including local taxes 10% at the time ($70USD roughly). I ended up giving it on to another family member after I upgraded to a new Wooting kb and the RK84 is still going strong and battery still going very well (gets light to moderate use wirelessly).
How is the dongle? There are a lot of opinons regarding it.
@@casseusfloyd4880 I purchased it a few weeks back and use it with my laptop. I mostly used bluetooth but have also tried the wifi dongle. It worked fine with no lag or missed keypress. My laptop is usually very close to keyboard, I have no idea how it will behave with PC when there is more gap between dongle and keyboard...
Loving the Notion table!! Very useful
Thank you. helped me decide to get one, using your link. jumping from my g910 to this.
Girl I love your vids but “budget” for me is at least under $50😂
Yea but its a custom so we cant ask for much lower tan 100 sadly 😑😅
If your in us then $50 is your budget $50 for us is like $20 in us cause I'm Aus so I have to have a "higher" budget
Sadly, you're not even getting switches for that.
Highly highly recommend a GMK67 for about 30-40. 70 Switches run about 13 (NEW outemus, gat milky pros, MMDs, etc). And for caps it depends on what you want but there are many great options from 10-25. Any pre-built in this range is not going to be anywhere close to as nice, at least currently. Actually Royal Kludges new line R75/R98 (R, not RK) seems incredible, they're huge steps beyond all their previous boards, but they aren't out in the US yet and we don't quite know the pricing.
Budget in the keeb world is 200 and under maybe your looking for the wrong price range under 50 is the broke keeb range
im using it to type this comment right now and there are no regrets on buying this keyboard, its so good!
Hey bruh, since you do have it, would you help me with some info since I'm thinking of getting one?
@@varunchanana its been a couple of momths now and ive sold it already but sure, what do you need help with?
@@jexhunt.307 why exactly did you sell it? Any problems?
@@Allhailourking screen was broken, no support from brand.
@@jexhunt.307 hey mate I wanted to ask is the Bluetooth or 2.4 dDongle better cuz I want my setup to be cable-less. And can you customize the OLED screen?
Great review, I just bought a RK M75 during black Friday, this is my first Custom Keyboard, and not many choice in France if your want ISO FR, I choose RK red switches version, and I just bought your favorite budget Gateron Milky Yellow Pro. I can't wait testing them. I didn't do anything else excet a little tapemod under the spacebar keycap to get more thock/deep sound. Seeing all the review this M75 seems to be a good budget choice for a gasket mount well dampening KB. I confirm this is not PBT keycap but double shot ABS one
This database is amazing, just wish there were images as well
Bought an rk98 recently and love it. It’s my first hotswap keyboard and first one i got new keycaps for. I got into pc because I love piecing things together that goes for keyboards now its kind of a new addiction haven’t had this one for a month and Im already looking to build another one
if you want you can review the new fantech keyboards they are also budget friendly and looks sooo professional
I love how it looks! Too bad I'm not in the market for a new keyboard...😔
Niche advice - but if you have a Micro Center near you, and you're looking for a budget keyboard: walk through their keyboard aisle every once in a while. I picked up a glorious GMMK Fullsize for 80 bucks. Slapped some Pandas and some nice keycaps in and ended up with a preem setup for less than 200$.
Great review, have you considered reviewing the akko 5075s keyboard or kit?
LOL i love how you were gonna throw the word good in air quotes 🤣
I'd put on some semi transparent caps and use the RGB as "functional RGB". If this supports QMK, this would be great for key layers which activate different colour sets for key layers when activated as a visual cue for you to know what layer is active and what key does what in that layer.
Can you please do a video on the Leobog Hi75? Appreciate the content!
Bought their RK H81 model (Skycyan Switch) 3 weeks ago and been loving it so far. Same wireless features without the mini screen. First budget KB I didn't immediately change the keycaps on. Love being able to switch between my desktop, laptop, Steam Deck and ROG Ally with the turn of a knob.
Is the skycyan switches similar to gateron linear switches?
do you have any video using those switches? is she using these switches? she literally said brown and blue like 0 effort on finding it out.. wtf
request: in depth explanation of the rk h81 : D
Was only able to get mine to work cos of your video! Thank you for making this video! For some reason I did not get an English manual 😢 Any chance you could post the English manual that you got with yours? 😅I checked the RK website and they only have the R75 or the M75 manuals. Huge appreciation from a longtime follower!
ordered myself 1 of these keyboards hoping i can configure rgb areas so i can configure it to match the colors of the keys
finally been waiting for always 2 weeks now and finally she reviewed it
This board is a bang for your buck, especially for people who dont know how to mod, because its aleady amazing out the box
This keyboard is at $72 in my country with shipping included. Gonna wait for a few months might go even lower.
I have a huntsman mini with optical purple switches. I really enjoy the tactile click and both in sound and feel of the key. I want to build a keyboard possibly with this frame and am looking for a key with a similar feel and click
I just chose the EpoMaker TH80 SE over this keyboard, within the last two weeks. I wanted to try the Budgerigar switches though, so the TH80 SE won out. Those switches are terrific for feel, but they block so much light in multiple ways that they really don't work with the north facing LEDs. Got some Kailh Speed Coppers swapped in, and though they aren't as great as the Budgerigar for feel, they are good, and they really work great for the north facing rgb. They'll do for till I find something else I want to try.
I’m also between the th80 and this idk which to get tho
I have the m75 and I modded it with the atoxk oil kings, it sounds really good and if u are going to mod it you have the choice
Hello, between this keyboard and the tecware phantom is it kinds the same in terms of good “thock” sound and typing feel? Cause if it is near as good but half the price i would rather take the cheaper one. Thank you for your time
Could you review the lemokey L3 when it eventually comes out or if you get a review unit of it? Lemokey is advertised as keychron's "gaming" series by them and I wonder if it sounds good, it has an interesting layout too
you should definitely look at the EPOMAKER TH80 SE this is very compelling although I might get the Yunzi too.
i just got this for christmas! its so good!
I'm sitting here on my RK61 that I've had for 3 or 4 years now. This one predates the hotswap versions, and it's only dual mode connectivity. I've upgraded the switches to Gateron K9 pros (wont do that again, I'll buy another if I want to change out the switches.. oof, desoldering sucks with hand pumps). Honestly.. I like the RK line so much I've bought a second (hotswap and tri-mode, running outemu honey peaches). I dont think I have any complaints about their build quality so to speak.. they last well enough in my experience. They're not the highest quality when it comes to manufacturing tolerances and board work, but they do that one very important thing.. they work.
Got it for Christmas, and WOW I am impressed. Stabs are VERY good out of the box and it sounds even better with the banana splits I swapped into it. Super good keyboard.
So if I want mine to sound like yours, should I order the red or the silver?
nice but no black case option :O and the switches are their brown option from the amazon page
did you ever saw a similar keyboard with black version?
Please recommend the best budget aluminum 65% tri-mode keyboard. Thank you!
I'm so sad that the silver switches are not available in my country instead they offer their yellow switches. But nonetheless, I got one for around 50 dollars. For that price, that is unbeatable for my opinion
Can you do some customizations to the screen? Or does it just show the mode?
I have the rk61 too but I decided I needed a tkl 75% keyboard kind of thing that had more variety so I bought the m75, haven't received it yet but I have good expectations about it. The rk61 surprised me so much in how it just lasts as a good buget keyboard with no need of mods (at least not for me) it's a really good keyboard its lasted me a long time and its still fine but its size is not for me. thanks for the review!
holy that space bar , better than my custom keyboard
I brought this over 11/11 sales
Absolutely love it. Solid, clicky, quality feel and love the little screen.
What is the macro software like? Can the knob be used for media control?
This keyboard is nice! Too bad I already got the Ziyoulang K87, but I modded it, and it sounds nice.
hey i just got mine, ive been trying to find the software of this certain keyboard and btw im using mac, do u have the software driver of this keyboard so that I can customize the function keys?
i just got this board and i am super happy with it
I got the rk84 based on your recommendation and I absolutely love it, been using it for over a year it's the best keyboard. I might just get this one too because of the little screen
I got it for the silver switch, i didnt regrets, nice keyboard
Have you tried the unspecified "new version" M75 with pre-lubed Viridian switches??? It has PBT keycaps, south-facing LEDs, and better foam. With the coupon it's cheaper than the original M75!
Found the shurikey hanzo 002 for $50 new with sakura v2 switches. Have u tried this board before? Downside is its not swappable, but what are your thoughts on it.
As a note- The new version comes with a south facing PCB, 5 pin cherry style switches, and decently thick double shot PBT keycaps! For $80 this thing is a beast!
what else is good for that price?
Where can I find the new version?
I dont know why is the pricing is so high on amazon, but I got mine for only $55 here in ph.
For this price do yourself a favor and get a Cidoo V75 with an aluminum case and VIA support. I can't think of a single thing this does better. This RK is only really interesting sub $100, say $80-90 IMO. Which us why they seem to have a perpetual coupon discount on it because $120-130 is stupid expensive for it. Personally I'd still oay $30 more for a far superior V75 or wait until it also runs a discount which will get it into the $110-120 range.
I've been interested in quite a few RK boards recently but I've been hesitant because every model I've looked at have had a number of negative reviews stating that the LEDs die pretty quickly(sometimes in a few days) and very quickly having unresponsive or overresponsive(double and triple typing) keys
Being new to mechanical keyboard stuff am I paranoid to be put off by stuff like this?
It's currently $79.99 on amazon. seems like quite a deal for the feature set.
Can you mod the m75 & can you change the top and bottom case ?
where can i get the mouse pad :> ?
Where do I find this nice keyboard database?
of course, the price goes up 30 dollars after this video was launched because people see the value in your videos and this keyboard and decide you deserve more respect
Nash haha prime day should be cheaper soon
I am asking a lot but is it possible to mod this? I bought this keyboard because of your budget keyboard video and I Really wanted to try mod it but I don’t know where to start
Epomaker TH80 is basically this keyboard but for $90!
Got this for 64USD! waiting for you mods for this keebs.
It seems to have a permanent coupon on Amazon, still 40 CAD off today.
would you think this keyboard can be used also as a gaming keyboard?
Do I have to charge this keyboard, or can I just use it wired and not have to worry about charging it?
Can you please review the NEW Akko 5075s? It has a VIA chip and south facing switches
I had that keyboard like 1 and a half month ago and it suddendly started to doubletyping leter q. 2 days later it just bricked and didn't turn on anymore. i had it for like 20 days so i returned it to amazon.
besides that the keyboard is amazing and i was about tu buy it again but i went for epomaker th80 Pro.
it was on sale in aliexpress and managed to snag one for only 55gbp. so worth it.
would you be able to use cherry profile keycaps on this?
my keyboard has broken and im trying to save up for a new one, most of them are too expensive after putting in food prices n stuff so i can't really use my pc until i can save up for a new one its weird not using my pc as much as i would have before.
Mhm. first early video for me. I love your videos.i find them pretty satisfying to watch escpially your build videos. Saw that build one for Austin evans its how i found your channel.
The BEST budget keyb is an epomaker TH80 with gateron pro black or yellow
Can you test the nyfboard gen2 its an german brand founded from e-sportlers
The keyboard isn't avaliable in Australia for a good price, and on amazon it seems to be $380 for me. Where would I be able to find this board?
same! instead i got the rk h81!
I bought one in 2024 and it seems like they swapped to South Facing Facing LEDs. Atleast the one I have (ordered from Amazon) has South Facing ones. Nice Improvement imo
Can you do a full video in the nuphy halo 75?
Also I am struggling with the decision between the nuphy halo 75 and the rk m75 can someone pls help me out there?
I want this so bad but sadly it has no german layout version :(
Can you please review the zifriend za68?
Is this actually worth it tho?
I have been waiting for black friday or cyber monday so it would be cheaper than 90$, but I don’t know if it is really worth the hastle
Is there a similar keyboard with volume knob but is colored black and brown?
hows the latency on these wireless keyboards? noticeable at all?
Just ordered mine on the Black Friday sale (amazon) for $79! I think I got the steal for reallll👀😂
I wish it had literally any other colors, I have a mostly black themed pc setup and a white and purple keyboard does not match AT ALL 😂
can i see that rankings of your keyboards?
Not available in my country :(
I recently bought the RK61 ( win-mac version ) for $70CAD and I love it! Also, my space bar sound much nicer than that one, but I have a slight metallic spring sound from all my keys. I'll prolly fix that? Meh
I just bought this, because I just want a simple keyboard for typing. It took a lot of time trying to find one I like, because I wanted a qwertz keyboard. This keyboard looks nice and actually comes in qwertz, which is a lot harder to find than it should be.
Rk m75 or nuphy halo75 which is better?
90$ 😮 hmm was going to grab a keychron V1 as my first keyboard but now I'm back to undecided
Just get the V1.
Thanks for the video, just a small question regarding the switch type of the keyboard. Can you confirm the switches in your specific keyboard is not silver switch provided from the Amazon website? As the color of the stem matches that of the silver switch form Amazon as far as I can see.
he literally pin ur comment with a heart and didnt say shit
@@ignacio3714 lol
Best Keyboard I ever bought. Thanks for the recommendation !! Im in love
Ajazz ak820 pro or RK m75 ? about to order one of them.
Is the screen customizable?
i hope this keyboard has the barebone version
Omg congrats to Cassie for the shout-out 😎
The only thing that would make me hesitate about this, is that with the blue knob, it might make getting alternate keycaps a little awkward if they don't mesh well.
You could probably pull it right off and replace it with another rotary knob.
The new version comes in multiple colorways, has south facing PCB, 5 pin switches and ds pbt keycaps!
@@radbradmtb6915 Nice! Unfortunately I did end up buying the old M75 so I'm not really in the market right now, lol.
Dont forget about the th80 se tho
Good Afternoon, I’m an IT Engineer and I now own over a dozen mechanical keyboards. Is there a way to contact you via one on one? I just have a quick question for you. Thanks!
Its priced here in Asia at around $55-60 lol
