This has been ruining my quilt and I cut carefully and measured after also and they still come out different. I’ve been beating my head trying to figure out why. So thank you for this!

what is a thread saver?
bunny kingston It's, in most cases, a scrap you use at the beginning and ending of sewing. Some sewists pull a large amount of thread out of the machine to retrieve the piece, thus wasting a lot of thread over time. I do it always so my machine doesn't gobble the fabric at the beginning of sewing. It is a good thing to do. Hope this makes sense to you!
