Glad they kept Sorrow, it is such a poignant theme illustrating that the villagers were just innocent victims but it the tone gets more sinister towards the end as Saddler enters the picture and turns their peaceful lives into a living nightmare.
The only part of the credits I miss are the pictures of the dying children and the villager whose head turns into a plaga. I felt like those pictures really showed how terrifying the situation must have been for the villagers. One moment your children are dying from an injection and the next your neighbor's head just popped off into a big worm.
And you slowly realize that the same villager whose head just exploded had received that strange vaccine from the man who said there was a plague, and soon it’ll be your turn.
What's sad is that those parents who lost their kids had no emotions or feelings about them dying. They just gave them blank stares and didn't care they died. By that point, the plaga had fully infected the adults.
That's right...to add on, I also miss the part where one of the diagram showed one of the villager who was playing his guitar in front of a group of kids that happened to be the first Ganado Leon encountered and killed in the OG...makes you feel kinda bad for destroying him, after all he did gave warning to Leon to get out of his house before he started swinging that axe
i wish i could have played this with my dad, he was so excited that his favorite game was getting a remake, I couldn't hold back the tears when the credits played, i miss the old days when i played the original on ps2 with him rest in peace, father.
Seeing the picture of Luis & his dad 🥺 if you read the games files he was a very happy kid & became very depressed when his grandfather got infected by Las plagas & feels guilty ever helping them as an adult, they made Luis & Ashley so likable.
i m sorry if i misunderstood but isn't the image u r talking bout is of salazar with his father cause of bow tie and also acc. to lore saddler said that plaga could cure salazar's dwarfism which is caused by his elders curses
The new credits are pretty cool, but I wish during the darker transition we got to see the village again slowly descend into its citizens losing their senses and humanity like in the original. Stuff like the kid being seen dead with her mom and the plaga growing from a man's head really captured how the village went from peaceful and happy to a nightmare and depressing.
Credits of RE4 remake proved that Capcom still maintained sorrow theme as original version but added more saddening rythms and tones. I don't think I've ever cried as hard for an end credits of a game before as much as this one. Even typing this right now is getting me emotional. A combination of nostalgia, a love for this series, and a great remake of a story for my favorite character, Leon S. Kennedy. Thank you, Capcom ❤
Nobody in the village asked for this to happen to them; they all had families and lived happily in the village. They were fine until Saddler decided to use Las Plagas from Amber deep within the castle to gain complete control, at which point they all lost their lives and happiness to the Las Plagas. Despite their horrible actions as a result of Las Plagas, I think they retained their humanity and morality within themselves, almost imprisoned within the control of Las Plagas. When Leon killed the villagers, I'm confident he released their poor souls from captivity and relieved them of their agony.
Was a little disappointed. Capcom missed an opportunity to expand on the story of the original here, they could have made a cutscene showing how Saddler arrived in the village and brainwashed the villagers. The remake often stays TOO CLOSE to the original game. Hopefully in the almost-assured Separate Ways campaign we finally get more details on this story.

0:44 after replaying the game alot, ive now just realized that picture is actually luis when he was little and that man is his grandpa before he died, when we first find that photo it was inside that old cabin near the lake, that cabin was luis' old home that was burned down and the same cabin where he watched his grandpa pass away after being infected by one of those colmillios( the plaga dogs we've seen throughout the game, mainly in salazars garden maze). Its the same place where we first meet him when he was tied up in the attic and there was also a note called the "old mans journal", stating luis' mother passed away when she gave birth to him and that the grandfather had to look after him, saying if he didnt live in this village he wouldve made a great scholar and that he was always interested in learning about stuff which led to him becoming an umbrella researcher, leaving spain then after the raccoon city incident, he had to run away and come back to his old home being taken over by los illumindos, which led to them mistreating and forcefully making him research the plaga for them, i feel so depressed and sorry for luis man and this song playing while showing that picture of him just hit super hard knowing hes gone and that he lived such a terrible life over stuff that wasnt his fault, i love this remake so much for deepening his lore and developing his character
Luis wasn't in Raccoon City or America, though he likely did leave Spain. He was part of Umbrella Europe's Laboratory 6, who created the NE Parasite and Nemesis. He also wasn't forced, Luis willingly worked for Saddler at first but became disillusioned and he defected.

I feel so bad for the villagers. Innocent people just living their lives in their happy little village until one man came and unleashed hell upon them all. Just like the Baker family who were a happy and loving family (except Lucas) until Evelyn showed up and destroyed their lives. 😢 Then of course you have the villagers from RE 8 again, all peaceful loving members of a community until Miranda showed up and went on a rampage because she lost her daughter. So sad 😔
And all those people in Raccoon City who could never even imagine, much less ask for what happened to them and their home. I'm noticing a trend in modern RE games about focusing more on all the victims of the power games of madmen and the heroes' guilt from being unable to save them.
Most RE common enemies are unfortunate victims. It makes the series depressing in a way. And you understand why Leon, Chris and Jill are the way they are
@@aaronkenyon7112 Nah honestly I don’t feel bad for the Arklay lab staff because they knew what they were doing with all those fucked up experiments and still carried on. Then someone let out the Cerberuses and the rest is history. 🤷🏻♂️

And its not the villagers are free after Saddler dies, not only does the island blow up but the people infected by Las Plagas most likely die without a master controlling them, meaning Saddler ruined these people's lives and there was no fixing it no matter what.
The tone shift here is just as dire as it was in the original. The moment Saddler and the plagas entered the picture, these people's lives were never the same........

Does anyone know what's the name of those sound effects at 1:17 ? It also can be heard at the final part of the game, specially when you are fighting Krauser and at the final part before Leon gets Ashley at the altar.
On a positive note, it’s revealed in Umbrella Corps that there are more villagers that hid from Lord Saddler and the Los Illuminados with some going back inside albeit getting infected only for the Umbrella Corps mercenaries to kill the infected thus wiping out Las Plagas for good with the remaining villagers returning to their homes.
Holy hell the first 10 seconds of the credits music fantastic the whole soundtrack for this remake was top notch.I have played the original Resident Evil 4 so much and the remake will have the same replay value as well.Honestly alot of backlash when this was announced about Resident Evil 4 needing a remake the original still holds up great with this remake.I myself and many others were impressed not only did they have quality of life improvements they respected what made the original so good. They really did a fantastic job the story, characters, gameplay, music, i can go on and on of course it didn't hit the nail on the head for everyone and that's fine.We all have our own opinions but my god this and the Dead Space Remake these are the ways to handle remakes.

I thought it was good that Capcom didn't remove this nostalgic music from the end credits of the Re4 Remake as it did in several parts of the game of this remake compared to the original game. Anyway, I loved this remake. The game was excellent 👏🏽👏🏽❤.
Dammit I didn't think much of this game's scenario and characters, everything's pretty standard, but as days go by since I finished it, I find myself thinking about it again, and especially how Luis makes the whole story much more interesting by being the guy who made everything happen, worked on the parasite, then fled his mistakes and is trying to buy his conscience back by helping the agent who came to put an end to it all... it makes for so many extremely interesting interactions, whereas Leon, Ashley and even Krauser really don't do much to make stuff interesting by being so cliche and having too little meaningful scenes with each other Remove Luis, the game would have been pretty bland, he's a key character to the scenario, it's fascinating to analyze!
Not a huge thing, but I wish they had kept the image of one of the villagers sitting on a chair holding his throat with a sinister grin while his family looks on behind him. Unless it's there and I missed it.
Though I feel the original did it better. This ending is still very important to the experience of a game. Throughout the entire thing you kill the Ganados left and right By the hundreds if not thousands. And far more often than not they die the most brutal painful horrible ways imaginable. And then, right at the very end, right at the credits, the game decides to kick you directly in the balls and deflate your giant power trip from having conquered so much by reminding you that these people you were killing are not evil, they had absolutely no choice in the matter. They weren't led astray, lied to, Or even being paid. Their minds and souls were stolen from them by saddler and his psychotic delusions and false god. Nothing they did was of their own free will and the game is every ounce better for reminding you of that. You weren't fighting evil at least not for the most part. You were simply putting down rabies infected once beloved pets, now gone mad no longer themselves, but a danger to all around them.
2005: I love this game…
2023: I *FUCKING* love this game!!!
A masterpiece. It's another cult hit.

Thankyou for the recommendations my friend 😁I just completed remakes of 2 and 3 even tho 3 was short was still good and now on 5 then 6 then 7 then village haha how did you find the RE4R
@@harleyboy8061 it was good I just wanted it to be more scary like re2 but it’s was really good I just wished all the remakes had no cut content
@@yomomma8791 glad you liked it my friend well said mate 100% as much it was a masterpiece but I heard mercenaries and that coming Friday if I’m not mistaken?
That part of the man playing the guitar around children and people...
My only critique is leaving out the kids who died while their parents just were emotionless and the Los Plagas bursting out of that guys head in the photos. Other than that amazing and the end credits song is also a good touch and a good song. 10/10 remake
This game is nearly perfection❤
Love the shooting range music
The part when they’re slowly change. From happy to commotion
Esses créditos ficaram FODAS. Simplesmente sensacional.
They were living a nice life, those people. Then evil came into their home.
Aahhh i love this song 😌
Best way to end credits in a video game
🥹
I loved these credits soo soo much more than even re7 or re8 it gives more lore about what happened before and after saddler came to the castle and the village so much peace and sadness in this
This remake was awesome
This just gives you a really sad nostalgic feeling
I know it's only a game but Thank you Leon for freeing them from that state.
Hope they Remake Code Veronica next time.
I think Capcom will make resident evil 5 remake and then, they will add code Veronica as dlc
@@khajiitwarrior They can't add a full game as a DLC.
2005: my dad playing RESIDENT EVIL 4
2023: me playing RESIDENT EVIL 4 REMAKE sooner
I feared that capcom would cut the end credits showing the tragic story of the villagers
5:55 best part

what is the music name? i want so know the name, please help me bro
@@nightfox4027 theres not a name, its just the credit sound of resident evil 4...

These credits are like Vanilla version of the orignal
For all us kids grown up that loved when re4 originally came out way back when, I'm glad your all still here. I never thought I'd still be alive from a lifelong battle of mental illness, and recently addiction to suboxxone. I'm 21 turning 22 this Sunday. I was just 4 years old playing the original and it takes me back to when there was no worry and no stress, just happiness. All us re4 fans grew up together and we are all here. Rest in peace to the re4 fans who never lived to see the best and most important remake of gaming history. I love all you guys and Capcom I love you too, no gay shit lol
7:22 if anyone knows the name of the music please tell! Shazam is useless
Sounds very similar to the "shooting gallery" theme
@SilvaEagle1998 Whats the composers name?
@@seldenkovs it's a modified version of a song called The Drive by Capcom Sound Team.
@@AlessandroMarques95 Yes, thank you!
Where is this info from?
@@Diznyas From the game Umbrella Corps. I love how they gave the ending of RE4 a more happier one now that the villagers live in peace.
My GOTY.
The best resident evil game ever💪
Was that combaya at the end?? Yk the song that plays in the first cutscene when Leon is in the car with the 2 policemen in the original
I tried to find the Re4r version of it but can't :(
This remake is so mutch better & so mutch fun then the old Resident Evil 4☣🤘💯
7:23 what's the name of this guitar part please??
I feel the one soundtrack this game was missing is "Serenity"
I finished them today for first it's absolutly magnificent 😢 the old games was arts
Re4 original credit is creepy....
And youre ten years old back then
In te original game from 2005 you can see an grandmother caring of her grand-daughter. But when old lady is infected by the plaga and have full control of her mind, she kill her daughter with poison food while had a knife on the hand. The face of the old lady was turn in black shadow.
(In manga or anime this means when a character is mysterious or acting of strange way or are crazy and evil)
Another nomination for the GOTY well deserved between GoW and Tears of The Kingdom
GOW aint no GOTY material it is terrible
Aún más hermosa que la original 😮
I thought it was good that Capcom didn't remove this nostalgic music from the end credits of the Re4 Remake as it did in several parts of the game of this remake compared to the original game. Anyway, I loved this remake. The game was excellent 👏🏽👏🏽❤.
Dammit I didn't think much of this game's scenario and characters, everything's pretty standard, but as days go by since I finished it, I find myself thinking about it again, and especially how Luis makes the whole story much more interesting by being the guy who made everything happen, worked on the parasite, then fled his mistakes and is trying to buy his conscience back by helping the agent who came to put an end to it all... it makes for so many extremely interesting interactions, whereas Leon, Ashley and even Krauser really don't do much to make stuff interesting by being so cliche and having too little meaningful scenes with each other
Remove Luis, the game would have been pretty bland, he's a key character to the scenario, it's fascinating to analyze!
1:11 the storm with the rain
Not a huge thing, but I wish they had kept the image of one of the villagers sitting on a chair holding his throat with a sinister grin while his family looks on behind him. Unless it's there and I missed it.
Came here to see if anyone noticed that towards the end they play the intro song for RESIDENT EVIL 5 and of course I'm the only one..
I feel like these credits are empty. I like how I felt bad in RE4 for killing the villagers. This just feels hallow.

Sorrow (Remake version)
@@XianLiaIII Thanks bro
What if the Ganados could sing this song in the village square in front of the villagers?
The best game I've ever played 100/10
