Agreed! also the end credits of some high budget hollywood movies from that era are like this as well. Something about this song feels so apt to end the game with.
I loved how Capcom did a similar thing with RE2 Remake as well by having a late 90s song for the credits theme. Glad to see them follow up again :)

God this game was such a masterpiece.
I found myself listening to the credits and at some point I noticed I was crying and I wasn't aware of how long. It dawned on me that my mom isn't here to see one of her favorite games of all time being made anew and even surpassing, and that stung.

Man, this game is phenomenal. While the credits were rolling I had to stand up from my couch and give this game a round of applause because it freakin’ deserves it.
The final chapter certainly has some gravitas and played a huge part in Leon’s overall character. I never even thought that the final chapter could pull some heartstrings. RE4 is STILL the king of survival horror games. To Capcom and to everyone involved in the making of this masterpiece - THANK YOU!
I don't think I've ever cried as hard for an end credits of a game before as much as this one. Even typing this right now is getting me emotional. A combination of nostalgia, a love for this series, and a great remake of a story for my favorite character, Leon S. Kennedy. Thank you, Capcom ❤

Just finished RE 4 Remake for the first time, and i just had to comment somewhere after hearing this song during the credits. It was a perfect, early/mid 2000's like song to end a great game like this one is, and as huge fan of original and who played it probably hundreds of times since 2005, it's the one which i'll definitely also re-play a lot in the years to come. For me, it's 10/10, game of the year!

Re4 was my dads favorite game and mine I'm glad the remake was coming looking forward to the remake playing it with him unfortunately he passed to a overdose and I sit here playing it without him this song almost made me cry

I was concerned about the ending theme, I wanted it to be as good as Saudade, but it surprisingly came out even better!!!
I usually skip credits but after I beat the game I heard that guitar picking intro I was like hold up now and couldn't stop listening 🎸
I got sad when I saw the jet ski knowing my adventure was about to come to an end. But then it lead to this song so it wasn’t so bad. And Ng+ is always the best part of the resident evil games, especially 4.

What a beautiful game.
I enjoyed the entire experience
I beat it for the first time in intense in 22 hours, I did almost everything I could, playing it cool, calmly, just feeling the vibe of the game and appreciating this masterpiece. Then I beat it on Professional difficulty, in 12 hours, I could have done it in 8 or less, but I decided that I would use this run to do more complicated and time-consuming achievements, like collecting all the treasures in the castle and on the island, (this really cost me A LOT time, several times I had to go back saves, because an item was left behind, in a place that was no longer accessible, and I had to redo everything LOL. I defeated "Garrador" with just the knife (Fun and complicated to do) and several other minor achievements, but that took a lot of time. I intend to play this game A LOT, in my free time, my goal will be platinum.
This game became a masterpiece, something that surpassed its original and went beyond, improving AND A LOT of points that were very weak in the game, Speaking specifically of Ashley:
What they did with her was a complete rebirth for the character, they took the unbearable Ashley from the original and made her a very charismatic, humorous and human girl, with a certain evolution throughout the gameplay, I hope that the rest of the community thinks like me , and I hope this influences capcom to show more things related to the character, after RE4 Ashley didn't even have any mention (the result of hatred for the character. and with reason).

The original game is one of my favourite games of all time, and I’ve been playing it for half my life. I felt stupid for crying when I finished the remake, but the comments everyone else has made about crying makes me feel better.

Very rarely is a single from a video game memorable, or even good. This song is both, and seems fitting for an absolute masterpiece of a video game.
As someone who never really enjoyed the original RE4 despite playing it many, many times, I went into this remake with my expectations at a respectable simmer. Having just finished, I can truly say I just finished a masterpiece. Everything that I never got out of the original RE4, every word of praise ever heaped upon the game by critics and fans rings true for this remake. I feel like I just beat Resident Evil 4 for the first time. And I can't wait to do it again.

Beat this game yesterday night on hardcore. It was my first play thorough and while I got a slow time i stills had a great time. I might be only 15 but resident evil is my favourite game franchise of all time and this remake was a masterpiece. Thanks capcom.

@@demonhunter935 Not a massive fan of ORC but i think RE6 has some decent mechanics for what it is. When it comes my guilty pleasures i quite like umbrella and dark side chronicles that while not necesserially bad are still just dumb fun. I also like Code Veronica and while it is no where near close to being perfect i think that its pretty good (also nostalgia).
I come to listen again this song after beating this masterpiece for the first time 😎.This remake is so great and make me so sad that capcom destroyed re3 remake that was my favorite re 😢.

This remake was really amazing. I didn’t play the og RE4 but I do think Capcom did this remake Justice. This song was definitely one of the best things I got out of this game
They did. The original RE4 used to be my favourite Resident Evil and I really think they outdid it. Still, play the original if you have the chance! All mainline RE are worth playing.
I beat the original so many times between PS2 and GameCube and couldn't play it anymore and yes the Remake was perfect they nailed it

They've been giving fans what they wanted for the past years like crazy.

I was worried at first about playing this game as the original was my favorite in the series and boy did it not disappoint. I might have to go on record as saying this is the best REMAKE ever made. i did enjoy the Dead Space remake but this is light years ahead it. Leon will always be my favorite character and I was not expecting the song they picked for the credits. Talk about a PERFECT feel good song for the end of this Classic game. Everything from the story to the action the graphics if it wasn't for it being a remake id suggest game of the year but I know one thing. I will definitely be playing multiple playthroughs as I just cant get enough of this game. CAPCOM keep it up fans of this series are loving these games. To all the Resident evil fans "GOOD EVENING STRANGER" !!!
