@@chubskii Damn right, the yanks did help the brits out of a hole. And they didn't do it out of any feelings of friendship - in fact the first thing they did, on the lend and lease agreement, was to sail to south africa and take every last pound of british gold and diamonds they could lay hands on. And they also used their political and economical power to weaken Britain's power overseas in every way they could. Let's be honest - the yanks love to paint themselves as the saviours of the world, and they did play a big part, but they did it for their own ends. Not from any desire to help others. They made damn sure Britain paid for every last bit of aid they got, in fact the last payment was finally made in 2006 I believe. Zack E what if I am
Just cos of my name?
Jaguar, Land Rover, Rolls Royce, Bentley, McLaren, MINI, Morgan, Triumph - Britain still builds some of the greatest, most iconic vehicles today. Only Germany comes close.
Shame we no longer own most of them but it's at least good that they are based here.
Aston Martin is also another one worth mentioning.
Ariel, Caterham and BAC
4:48 gives me chills everytime, one of my favourite ever moments in top gear
Death: *arrives*, It's time to go now
Topgear: 'Was I good show?' (OG)
Death: *no,I'm told you were the best*
R.I.P, OG Topgear
You mean OG Top Gear spinoff, the actual OG was made from 1977 to 2001, I suppose
I'm not British, but they worked made me tearing up...amazing!!!
"America is the greatest country in the world"
Top gear-"hold my beer"

@Syed Bokhari true, but Britain (or England) is famous for the tea.

i dont think that evans will do something like this
Actually this is exactly the kind of thing Evans likes to do. He started multiple car shows basically on a whim a few years back. Hell do days of x random thing on his radio show, and manages to get a lot of random stuff.
Luckily Evans is gone 😄

Yh now we have LeBlac
My God, what a gorgeous video... I'm British by heart and legally, not by birth and it made me want to cry... what the British of generations feel? hope pride.. love..and desire to keep honouring Britain in a good way and this is certainly... a very beautiful way... and that flag, horses and view are just magnificent
As a foreigner, I can emphatically say....hail Brittania! You have done well to grace the world with excellent products. Be proud of yourselves.
I watched this episode yesterday at home and after this part when the credits rolled down, i smiled and frickin' tears rolled down my face, because i felt so touched.
I'm not even kidding. ._.
I'm German, Jesus Christ.
Oliver Krebs Didn’t know that it was biologically possible for Germans to cry 🤷♂️

Well I mean it was made in Britain soooo...
Even tho i'm french, this made me cry
I'm proud of you Britain
Also while we're at it, thanks for helping us during last conflicts
Well we may joke about each other but we're the OG colonisers and war enemies of the past. Much respect to france across the channel.
Ok sure this one time I’ll be with you
And it’s really the yanks you need to thank the last few wars (all they did for the brits is put us in massive debt)
Even Napoleon, who fought bitter wars against the British, have warm feelings for the British people.
As a side note, the Russians never paid a single cent for any of the materiel they got from Britain and the US. Interesting.
@@foxtwo1584 The Americans made sure that they rounded up as many of Hitler's scientists as thry could lay their hands on and gave them all Ameican citizenship
That Appollo rocket is basically little more than an overgrown V2
I'm not british, but seeing this kind of honorable things for a country, just feels quite good!
I never knew that Britain made horses
Those horses are assembled in Sunderland from boxes shipped in from Germany and Japan, but our workers are skilled enough to know that the legs go on the bottom and the head is at the front
tescos harvests them on Dartmoor for "beef burgers"
Yeah some parts also get shipped in from the Shan, they grow there.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
Genesis 1:24-25 KJV
King James of England did produce an English translation of the entire Bible in 1611, but few in England anymore read it or believe it.
neither did i i thought they made beef

Truly one of the best scenes of Top Gear, and an amazing view.
JJ Abrams when he saw this: “write that down, write that down”
I'm South African Indian, but my paternal grandfather had a British dad. Honestly, this segment had me beaming with pride, and when it ended, I thought, "Bollocks..."
The bit where the BAC Mono is driving along the Albert Dock in Liverpool makes me so proud!
Great Britain truly is one of the most magnificent countries in the world. They've got everything. From a rich history to great culture and of course the birthplace of a many great scientists and people who have changed the world. A great country.
+Jack Wheatley No reason to bat an eyelid! Stiff upper lip now!
Then come in refugees and fuck everything over and up
It is only natural that refugees come to a great nation. Its actually a compliment. But you're right, the government needs to hold all refugees temporarily until the ME is stable enough to send them back.
+Murat Sahin
didn't imagine for anyone to answer a civel way, hats off to you.
+Murat Sahin A great country that fucked up the entire world for centuries...
the way james greets the bus like an old friend really makes me realize how much a vehicle can mean to someone.
Well James is an ex London bus driver
craigybus1 i might be wrong, but i dont think so. he built relationship with that bus when he was testing it
In an earlier episode, James actually admitted that he used to drive buses in central London when he couldn't get journalist work.
USA guy here. I recently got a 2017 Jag F-Type because of these 3 gents and Jeremies way he says "Jaaaaag!"
I think this is the most beautiful moment ever happened in Top Gear history.
Imagine living in Milton Keynes just going about your day, probably going to Tesco or something and you just see three F1 cars zoom past you
Having being a british patriot myself, I'm proud to be british.
This is the most British thing the Brits have ever Brittained in Britain
👏👏😆
Even being American, I have a feeling of British patriotism after seeing all of these different vehicles.
Isn't it, patriotism?
Yeah, my bad... :o heh it's fixed now...
