Rob and Lee together again! I love Pete and all the other fellas too, but the old Chappers and The Captain bring back so many great memories. All the stupid, idiotic stunts they used to do are the best memories I have from a bygone era. All the Christmas videos, elfs, dropping guitars off roofs, blowing up speakers and all the other shenanigans that made them the comedic duo. And I learned a ton about the guitar. Love it!

I feel like Rob, Lee and Pete are the top gear of the guitar world. Rob is the Jeremy, Lee is Richard and Pete is James. Many companies have tried to follow and they just don’t come close. There is an emptiness to the other companies videos but Anderson’s have just nailed it. I think you guys need to make a best of video such as robs crazy blindfold guesses, best general moments and others. You should celebrate your channel with a thank you to everyone who is involved as part of the best of video. Doesn’t have to be for any reason or milestone but just because. Cheers for the videos, I’ve ended up spending thousands!

You can tell they are great friends and it shows in the videos. As for Rob his guitar mastery is off the charts. I could sit and listen to Rob play all day. His sense of melody and different styles is second to none. Listen to Dorje or Clockwork Wolf & Co. you know that Rob is the real deal. Rob really inspires me to sit down and play guitar. Lol the smell thing. Ever since he smelled that one of the guitars was a Gibson, they constantly bring it up. Gibsons do smell like whatever their scented cases smell like. I can't believe they were surprised that Rob could smell that. When I take my SG, I get immediately that vanilla smell in my nose, even if it hasn't been in its case for weeks. Similarly, I've been to guitar stores where you can smell when you're standing near the Gibson rack. Honestly find it hard to believe that none of them had ever noticed that you can smell which one is a Gibson 😂

Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous that Andertons use brand new, high end gear to 'sell' their videos and then expect someone to pay full price for the same instrument, pedal or amp when it goes back to the floor AFTER having been handled and played like its a used item?
In my humble opinion, anything featured here should be considered B-Stock (don't care if its the owner and his buddies playing it), including every single one of these guitars. Beer in one hand and unsold expensive guitar in the other...seriously?
A few months ago my husband and I flew to a major music store to personally collect a Les Paul Custom we had ordered and they made every effort to keep their instruments as untouched as possible, avoiding unnecessary skin contact with high finish surfaces (machine heads, bridge, screws etc). Potential clients were barely allowed to 'try' these instruments as they requested you to remove wedding rings, belts, etc to avoid any potential dings or scratches. When I buy a guitar in this price range I don't want to see that its been used as a prop in a RUclips video (which incidentally Andertons earns money with)!
Anyone wanting to pickup any guitar in this video should request a discount 😉

My most expensive guitar an HSS Floyd Rose Fender Ultra Luxe with stainless steel frets at $3,700.00 Canadian. Your prices are in Pounds, yikes! Good to see Chappers back. Let's see more blindfold challenges with pedals and amps. Digital vs tube amp. Circuit board vs hand made amps. My pedals are two Boss GT-1000's, one Boss ME-90, one Eventide H90. I keep one GT-1000 at home to experiment with on a 32 inch monitor for editing and a road tested patches GT-1000 for stage that I just play thru. Getting back into looping with a two track 15 hour Boss RC-500. Can hook up a second (slave) RC-500 with a MIDI cable to double tracks or sequences.

These are obviously instruments I wou;dn't bother to look at beyond their price tags. Realize they were higher up on the rack or in their own room of expensive. So I'll wander back out into the area where they keep the Chinese & Mexican guitars.

I know there's been some controversy around Rob (though I'm not in the know as to the details) but these videos are an entertaining blast from the past, and Rob undeniably is incredibly good at this type of thing. He could legit smell the roasted neck which is insanity to me.

I try to watch every Anderton's video. Some are so good I'm nearly clapping at the end. On this type, one thing I'd try is to reveal the guitars to Rob (at the end) one at a time

Rob playing Dorje songs while blindfolded are always my favorite parts. Every time it's going into drop D, I know Flower of Life is about to come!

Just imagine if you would have thrown an oddball in like the the telecaster blind test with Pet! I believe Lee's Larry Carlton strat S7 that Lee changed the picks up in, or something else cheap that has been changed/ modified as you have many options out there!! I'm sure that would have been great fun!!

The first strum on the strat was NASTY in the best way.
