Pokémon stadium/Pikachu N64 bundles
I picked up the yellow Pikachu 3DS for $50 last year because it had a broken circle pad. I had an original blue 3DS that had a broken top screen so I just swapped the circle pad from it into the Pikachu one to get it working again at no extra cost. Then I modded it and loaded it up with every Pokemon game it would play. Has been one of my favorite consoles I've owned. Also have the Scarlet and Violet OLED switch that I am very happy with as well.

As soon as I had disposable income, fresh off HS and into the workforce, I got myself the blue XY version of the 3DS XL and it suited me well until my father dropped it and it died. I started saving for a new one, when Pokémon Center Online was opening and I had the opportunity to grab those New 2DS XL ones. I never had friends that played pokémon, so I bought both the Pikachu (I know, I know) and the PokéBall, alongside the new Sun/Moon games. Since then, I never actually got a switch, so my first one will be the lite next month, with the new zelda gold version, but I'm hopeful the next "Switch 2" will have a Pokémon variant for the 30th anniversary.

I'm not sure where to go with this. I remember going to Toys R us long ago and seeing two Pokemon special edition Game Boy SP devices. One was for the Pikachu one with the face on the top. Then there was another with the same style but pink with a Mew face. I was not happy with my parents for buying two regular ones a day before instead of these two. But now looking online, I can't find any evidence that the Mew edition existed. I'm partly sure this was in 2005. It was in Massachusetts. Not the Kirby Gameboy SP.

12:24 This is the only special edition console I have, and it's one of my favorites. I was still playing the original 3DS up until this one came out, so it was a massive upgrade for me. And that pikachu console was the new nintendo 3ds systems, which were hard to come by at the time, and I guess it is still hard to get now
Unfortunately the only one I own is the Scarlet and Violet OLED hopefully the switch or switch lites get more Pokémon themed ones. BTW I love how you added that adventure time music in the background.

I own the Pokéball ds! It’s pretty good although I always found it really weird the button on the back did nothing

I love the blastoise faceplate for the new 3ds (i have a bootleg one on my new 3ds from aliexpress and it looks pretty nice) i wish there were more pokemon systems that had the sugimori art on them.
I have the Red Pokemon XY 3DS XL, the Pokemon Sun and Moon black and silver New 3DS XL, the Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee Nintendo Switch, and the Pokemon Sword and Shield Zacian and Zamazenta Switch Lite.
Me, not realizing how good of a deal I got on my 20th anniversary Blastoise 3DS until watching your video 😶🌫️ I’ll treasure it even more now. The SV switch is so beautiful 😭 I want it so bad but can’t convince myself it’s worth the money and effort to switch from my basic one I have now. Honestly I think they did a great job designing the SV one it’s really eye catching and unique. The only Pikachu one that’s even slightly palatable is the GBC for gen 2, the one that got away.. literally.. mine was stolen. Worst plane ride ever.

Honestly i just miss the time period that the ds came out in and seeing the diamond and pearl pokemon ads on tv but never actually owning the games

I've got the 2DS XL Pokeball. The pokeball button on the lid is, in fact, a button you can press! it's shallow so it doesn't have much travel, and it doesn't do anything, but it's there. at least it's fun to fidget with?

I own an Alpha Sapphire 2DS that is not in the video. I don't believe it's rare though. The 2DS is cheap af (mono sound, really?) but affordable and does it's job as you said!

sun n moon 3ds did release in NA I have one. I bought it on launch day of sun and moon because my persona Q 3DS was stolen.

I bought the yellow pikachu 3ds that came bundle with Pokémon sun and moon but I didn’t get it with sun and moon and I got 3 other games and I got for 200$ and it’s worth 500$ now
Out of these I own the Pikachu and friends GBC and the Pokeball 2ds XL and they look nice on my shelf
got reminded that I also have the Diamond and Pearl Switch lite

Special edition consoles are awesome, I have the S/V Switch and I almost bought the Pokéball 2DS when I saw it in a store, but I already have a New 3DS Super Famicom edition and haven't found a reason to buy a second console of the 3DS family yet.
If I ever buy a Nintendo 64, I'd go through hell and back to get a blue Pikachu edition, lmao!
Most special edition 2nd hand 3DS's are as expensive as a new Switch (or even more money in some cases) I'd say save your money on another 3DS unless you find a really good deal boss!

I actually managed to snag the 4:07 gbc. Possibly one of my favorite handhelds ever. It was in rough shape, but after thorough cleaning, and a backlight mod, it now looks amazing!
Modded Gameboys and DS's are the way to go to these days!
