  • Hey guys! Thank you for the requests to put out my updated red captain build, I have made quite a few changes since my last video to accomodate for the mistake I made with the 1000 crit cap vs the 1500 crit cap - so I hope the updated gear is helpful for you trying to reach your min/max dreams!!
🔥Check out Ashes of Creation too, an upcoming MMO I am hyped to play!🔥

Drop your shoulders for Daedur shoulders. Drop your Chest for Stannafl. You're way over on Finesse. Drop your cloak for Torahammas. And then you're looking at pretty much BiS after those changes. And I'm on the fence about Rift weapon, I think Captains Arm or Hill Defender is just as good. You're also wasting 3 points in Penetrating Cry. Confidence is a useless Virtue, surprising to see you actually slot that. Other than that tho, spot on.

Daedur shoulders have lower stats and provide more crit - which I could see being valuable only if I drop confidence which is absolutely not a useless virtue, not sure where you heard that, as it is the best source of crit rating from virtues. The finesse cap is currently 1000, and it doesn't have diminishing returns, not sure where the rumor spread that you can be "over" on finesse before hitting the cap - it reduces the b/p/e by a flat percentage which is more and more valuable as instances tier up and mobs out-level you. Saying I am wasting 3 points in penetrating cry, which is one of the red captains more potent fellowship buffs makes me wonder if you are trolling me or something? Crunch the numbers on the rift weapon and it it by far the best, the others aren't actually close at all. Torahamma's cape is definitely an option, especially if you need survivability. I am just going to assume you are trying to rib me otherwise, which you did - so congratulations!
