As an editorial, the original owner was contacted after the video: This tundra had a 285K mile engine put in at 254K miles. So all in, the body has 467K miles while the current engine has just shy of 500K miles!
Impressive!
TYLER I have ~ 78K miles on my 2006 Full size Tundra. Use 4WD mainly in winter. About 5K miles per year. Do you have front and rear differential fluids changed at 30K/24 months OR more often?
Fuel filter interval too.
Thx
I've had my 2000 sr5 Tundra since april 1999 and I've never changed the diff or transmission fluid. It has 315,000 miles on it. I just rebuilt the front end. 1 starter and 1 radiator.
I love these trucks. Can’t wait till I get everything 100% on mine, have it look as good as it runs and drives. Toyota makes an awesome product.
They do! Good luck with your truck
2003 Tundra limited here. 292,000 miles on it passed down from my dad! Put about 4k on it this year.
Nice!
Cool. I hope my 2004 with 130k makes it to 400k
Hopefully!
My 04 sequoia has the same deal with the door locks; they’re big bird yellow these days. 305k
Damn I really want one of these along with my 2nd gen
You gotta do it haha
Love the genuine fake wood grain just like mine.
The best fake wood there is
My 04 denali has 400k.
My dad's old 93 ranger 3.0 v6 5 speed he sold it with 730k. Original motor. Just maintenance.
5 speed was rebuilt at about 400k
06 Sequoia with 310k miles here. Still runs on original powertrain.
Nice! That’s awesome
My 2000 tundra had about 200k miles when I got it but the door locks are also faded yellow 😂, don’t know what causes it, but I didn’t know they were a different color until I stepped into another tundra/ sequoia
Oh, crazy! Mine are bright red at 225K miles!
What type of pipes are those?
My guess was pretty close 😂
Ya it was! Haha
06 with 370k km, rear diff is starting to whine, any diff lockers that you’d recommend?
I think ARB and TRE are probably the main options. I don’t remember who makes mechanical lockers for these
Nice!! My 2000 tundra has 325k miles. I’m local , let me know if you want to check it out.
That’s awesome! I hope I get to 300k!
My06 TRD 4x4 250,000 carrier bearing one cv boot new coil packs at 200,000 live in rural Nevada maybe 70,000 miles on back roads forgot put top 0f line rancho sho ks 3 inch exhaustk and air system 275r16 10 0ly Toyo never a issue
I have a 95 F150 with 650-700k
at what milagr did you change the timing belt
I’m not sure. It’s not my truck. But the service interval is ~100k miles or 10 years
What are those rims?
My best guess is Procomp 69’s or otherwise a Vision wheel that looks similar
If it is the second engine, how do you account for the mileage?
The mileage on the second engine? I’m not sure, I didn’t ask. But the odo is correct for the body and trans.
@@208Tyler What was the original issue with the stock 2-uze?
In the video, Tyler stated that the first 2uz-fe ingested rocks/fod which did damage.
@@spencercentala8630 Oh deer. What was the extent of the damage?
n3 struts its lifted
After looking at it, they're certainly the right shape. However, the struts didn't have any visible markings. And the front suspension components are dead level
@@208Tyler Maybe trq loaded struts then.
My 2003 Honda Pilot has 3.4 million miles
I need proof haha
@@208Tyler you won’t get proof because I LIED!
