I'm loving the cowboy/country style they have going on and I'm also giving props to the stylist noonas for styling them this way and also props o to the people in the MV as you could see they were clearly havin fun. I'm loving the beat and the line " I don't need permission to dance" will be stuck in my head for ever and always now, also it's such and iconic line and is up there with " Get it, Let it roll". The “wind” was actually thunder. There was a line of thunderstorms that came thru. It was shot in South Korea which has these kind of desolate areas along the coast. The first time I saw this, I cried. I had been self-isolating for a yr and a half, and this was an affirmation that the end of Covid was possible.
Yeesh! Glad they finished before the storms came through. That's dangerous. Though I'm sure it was nothing compared to the world lock-down due to Covid. Such a fun video. I definitely understand the emotions. Around this time, I remember yearning for normalcy again.

It was the timing of it and the beautiful message that sooo perfectly suited what was happening and needed at the time. We were all so isolated and just grateful to be surviving the pandemic, and then this came out when it was starting to ease up. This was in the first three (the English songs), and I cried because I had been so sick and so scared, and here was an incredibly joyful song telling me everything would be okay soon and I had permission to dance! It was filmed in Korea, it's a set not far from Seoul! That bit at the end, a piece of equipment broke (a sound filter?) so they messed around with the crew. This song was also filmed at the UN, starting at the speaker podium at the front of the (vacant) General Assembly room and fanning out into the park.

I read somewhere this song was to commemorate the end of COVID lockdown. The purple balloon was to let people know that the lockdown was over. Which is why people took off their masks when they saw the balloon. And the people shown in the video are from professions and groups that were affected the most by the lockdown. And the hand gesture was sign language for dance. There's just a lot to unpack in this video. Glad you guys liked it.

This was a great song to end a great concert in Vegas A concert that was never even advertised The Bellagio turned the fountains purple and played their music every 2 hours. Plus many other things....They rented out old wedding chapels and had museums and a place to wear traditional Korean clothing WHY>>> Because this was their walking off stage. Their last concert. They went out to the Nevada desert and recorded their good-bye ( or brief hiatus) and did songs like" For youth" . (little did they know that the last concert was going to be in Busan). People from many countries flew in. Saw a lovely mother and daughter who flew in from Scotland, ( There was a guy walking around and recording, but had no clue who they were) Like most people ONE news outlet did a 2 min segment (mainly because of all the traffic) There was 2 girls who flew in from Israel and tried to get people to sell their seats to them (because they only bought for one night and thought that since they flew all the way ther.....e they wanted a second night.) They offered over a thousand dollars....naturally they were kindly told NO....lol Still no one but army knows they burned down Vegas. I have a question. Since I no longer listen to Taylor Swift. Do you guys compare her music to anything that you have seen or heard in your past?
Fun fact: that black cowboy outfit Jimin has on him later was recreated by Ken from last year's movie "Barbie". Therefore, there was some promo and cool interactions between Ken (Ryan Gosling - also the actor who starred in Jimin's favourite movie "Notebook") and Jimin! Ken "apologised" for "stealing" the outfit, and then also gifted him Ken's custom-made Cantrell’s signature Gibson Fire Devil Songwriter acoustic guitar that was featured in the movie!
