I grew up in Cincinnati next to these pathogens. It's absolutely horrible looking around and seeing them everywhere. It's a living nightmare watching them walking around and eating people.

@@fernandoherrera68 you think that now, but what you don't actually want (or what we as a society don't want) is dark mornings. not only is it on average much worse for human health to have to get up and go about work before sunrise, it's actually dangerous. The sun wouldn't rise until like 9 am in the winter, which means not only going to work in the dark, but the cognitive damage getting up that much before sunrise actually makes people worse drivers and leads to more car accidents. The country tried moving to permanent daylight time in the 70s. The plan was for a two-year trial period to see how it went. The trial was ended after only one year. Children died.
"So perhaps his greatest crime was hypocrisy" felt like a Norm Macdonald joke.
Yep, definitely a bit of a tribute to Norm. Both Jost and Che recently said on Howard Stern how they think Norm was the GOAT of WU.
I was shocked they ripped off one of his jokes so blatantly without acknowledging it. It's not like it's an obscure joke Norm told just to a few people. Norm told it one of his specials and on Seinfeld's show Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
@@lupanellise9275 It's not exactly a ripoff though. Norm's joke is that hypocrisy is *not* the worst thing about Cosby. To me this falls neatly into the homage category.

OMG, they were all on fire this week! Che and Colin did their usual hilarious job, but it was fun seeing Dismukes play a caricature and Jane Wickline gets funnier with each new song - her nerdy awkwardness is a nice addition to the WU desk. Gotta tip a hat to the writers, too - who have SO MUCH material to work with these days!!! 😆😆😆

McDonald's should get a yelp review if the ice cream machine works
Have you heard? McDonald's got a fix in the works for their ice cream machine "issues". Turns out they signed an "exclusive" contract with the manufacturer of those machines - no other company or service could open them or do repairs. And the manufacturer never hired enough staff to actually work on their machines. So McDonald's "broke" that contract and will have any available company work on fixing the ice cream machines. lolz
Back 38 years ago at my first job at McDonald's *the machines were built to McD's specifications and we were expected to do minor servicing* .
