What? Who told you to stop dancing??? 🤦🏼♀️ Nonsense! It’s your channel so do whatever you feel right for you guys! By the way, we Army love looong videos like this so please feel to pause if you need to talk. I love your reactions! 💜😊👍🏻
You guys are literally the best! Ur silly dancing really ups my mood. So if u feel like doing it don't worry as long as you pay attention to the video 💜☺️😄 Also ARMY stands for: Adorable. Representatives. MC for .YOUTH
We don't mind you talking, just pause the video so we can hear you and no need to mute the music unless it's their Japanese music.. You be in copyright hell with Japanese content
If you watch a live performance that isn't from BangtanTV or have the BangtanBomb logo be wary! The owners of the videos (usually music shows and such) can copyright strike you. A good way to avoid this is to slightly alter the video, most usually block out the water mark/logo, slightly filter the video and/or mirror the video! Any BigHit video is fair game. They'll copyright videos (claim ownership and any ad revenue will go to them for that video), but not copy right strike (ie YT gives you a warning and can result in a ban/page taken down). Any official music video is dicey, as Japanese copyright laws are extremely strict.
In the part of the video where V and Jimin were goofing off and Trale said, "They was really 25, 24?", they were actually both 17 at the time. It was their debut year, 2013.
Pls remember this is an old video and some of the clips are really old, thats why they look so young and not the same to you. They have come such a long way 💜 you will learn their names as you react to them, dont stress. Enjoy their music and get to know them on the road.
ARMY is sometimes referred to as "the BTS ARMY" to communicate outside the fandom, but we leave off the definite article for general usage. ARMY is its own entity. Saying 'The ARMY" associates it with common armed forces terminology. Personally, as an individual I'm an ARMY, but referring to myself in the greater collective, I'm ARMY. Other's may use the term differently. ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representative MC for Youth. Some asshole journalists might say they just wanted to spell the word army, but the name is actually in line with their values. The term MC is representative of their start in hip hop and the rap line's status as skilled Masters of Ceremonies. We love and stand up for ourselves and represent those without voices in society. ARMY is really about strength and defense, not militancy. Yeah, you'll run into a lot that seems to counter that, but once you get to know us you'll understand it's the loud minority. This was either helpful or confusing as hell. Honestly too hungover to tell. I know there are millions of other perspectives, too.
This video, though useful, does have some inaccuracies because of its age. RM's studio is now called RKive; he's still the most fluent English speaker but the others have been practicing really hard; he's become a full member of the KMCA like Suga. Jin only pulled hearts out while promoting one of their albums; Jin is also considered one of the mood makers in the group; now that they are so successful and don't live in the forms together as much, Jin no longer cooks for the others except for special occasions or the like. Suga is now a lot more outgoing and silly; he recently said he didn't sleep as much as people think he does; he's also a good cook and does the lion's share of it with Jin when needed; he's very tenderhearted, especially when it comes to the other BTS members. J-Hope is now also a full member of the KMCA with Suga and RM; RM once called him his co-leader of sorts as he helps with keeping the group together; just as Jungkook is called the Golden Maknae, some fans call him the Golden Hyung as he's good at dancing, rapping, singing, and producing. Jimin is no longer as insecure, he's become very confident in fact; he doesn't make the birthday cakes but he may add decorations to them and he's usually in charge of procuring them; he's one of the silliest members often goofing off not only with V but with all of the members, especially Jungkook. V loves fashion in general, not only Gucci; he doesn't play the saxophone anymore afaik; with age he's gotten a little more serious, but he still has a goofy side; he's made numerous more songs, one for a Korean drama called Itaewon Class. Jungkook finds the title of Golden Maknae a little oppressive as he feels he has to live up to it; just as his hyung look after him he looks after them; he is very sweet and considerate, often found helping staff clean up after shows; he's also written and produced several songs now, including one for a Japanese movie coming out this year. I probably missed some stuff, maybe ARMY can add it in the comments, and also correct me if I'm wrong anywhere.
I highly recmmend waiting with that til you know the names, faces, more about the guys and the songs in the performance. It will be much better then and more appreciated. Wait.
YES!!!! This is an award show, but swear it was a mini concert and it was EPIC! It’s long but so worth it! Don’t know if someone had mentioned, always try to put the English subtitles so you see the translations. I enjoy your reactions, and ARMY is very helpful if you ever want to know all about BTS and ARMY. Welcome and enjoy your BTS journey! 💜
This reaction was a lot of fun! We watched and listened to the ENTIRE video, but RUclips would not allow us to upload the video without certain parts muted out--so just know that some parts do not have audio! It said that the video would be BLOCKED in all countries, and we did not want to waste this entire video, so that’s what we needed to do! Sorry in advance! Is copyright changing in the BTS world? 💜💜💜 What should we react to NEXT? 👇🏾COMMENT BELOW👇🏾
You guys are doing great, but please....don’t self censor yourselves to the point you look a tad bit scared. I felt you guys were over thinking this too much and holding back with good intentions of course! Obviously you have (and will continue to) encounter over zealous and pedantic army. I’ve seen enough reactors go through that initial fear of offending way too many times and lose what made them stand out in the first place. Id rather see you being authentic and spontaneous than cautious, restrained and not 100% your selves.
I just want to recommend to check the lyrics before you react to a live performance! there is this Color-coded videos with the lyrics and for you it would be easy to recognize Who is singing which part of the song. Then when you check the live performance it could help to identify them. "Black Swan" is a good song to continue. It reflects their passion for music and art. "Tiny desk concert" would be another option (songs sung here: Dynamite, Spring day, Save Me) I loved your reaction! and we don't mind wherever you choose to do when reacting! So you could pause, review, dance, sing, jump! we love to see you!
OMG, I'm going to mark this whole thing as TL;DR. There are so many people who will tell you what to do, so I guess the most valuable part of what I'm writing is what NOT to do. "Is copyright changing in the BTS world?" Yes. But I think it is more that the RUclips algorithm is changing. More and more reactors are having problems. I've seen reactions blocked everywhere - even for videos like this one that have been reacted to literally thousands of times without incident. "What should we react to NEXT? " Oh, you have so many options! Depends on how deep you want to go, how many other groups you want to listen to (devote time to), etc. To know their progression as artists, start from the beginning with No More Dream. If you want a commercial overview, watch only title tracks with MVs. If you want to learn their heart and soul, mix in some of their most underrated b-sides and definitely solos. And absolutely ask ARMY for recommendations based on what music you like to listen to. There's an entire chart available of "if you like this genre, you might like...". They have dance practices, making-of specials, Halloween treats, and live videos (official or fancams). Unofficial fan content like explanations and theories give insight into cultural references and wordplay. The channels Minidance, Bookish Theories, and DKDKTV are so helpful. The DKDKTV explanation for Ddaeng and Italian ARMY's What You Still Don't Know About BTS's Spring Day will blow your mind. Lyric videos (with dubious translations) show you who is singing - but don't use Jaeguchi's (shady practices). I highly recommend you seek out reputable translators like muish.wordpress.com/ and doolsetbangtan.wordpress.com/ for the richest input. The more you learn about their lyricism, the more you will understand why so many ARMYs are trying to learn Korean. *Don't Do This* Notes: Don't listen to anyone who says to start reacting to the "storyline" aka Bangtan Universe (BU). This is a narrative that links the MVs together with symbolism and hints to a very abstract plot that has taken years for Theory ARMYs to get a handle on. It is advanced and only for really crazy and committed ARMYs. You need to be able to tell them apart and analyze the MVs on a third level. Just concentrate on 1 and 2 - the music and the visuals for now. Also ignore 'try not to laugh' compilations. They are split second clips that ARMYs can place in context but no one else will find funny. It's painful to watch people react to those with confused looks on their faces and polite positive comments. They are also riddled with ear bleed editing that is just evil. Avoid portmanteau "shipping" (short for relationship) compilations like "Vmin bla bla" or "TaeKook", etc. They are basically fantasy fanfiction about romantic relationships between the members. If you know how Korean 'skinship' culture works, (friends are very touchy-feely and comfortable), you have something to put it in context and know it has no romantic subtext. If you want to learn how the shipping subculture of any fandom works, they are fascinating. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG WITH SAME SEX RELATIONSHIPS - It's just the members never talk about their sexuality and there are many people who fantasize and make assumptions. However, Thictae has a nice "moments I think about a lot" series that just shows interaction from a friendship standpoint, not romantic. The rest of her channel is fanfic. lol Yeah...so...I'm an ARMY Recruiter who tries to inform and eliminate confusion. Please feel free to ask questions. Above all: DON'T GET OVERWHELMED! bwahahahah!
@@alekspoljak8668 I agree, be authentic and genuine. As long it's respectful most Army are super chill and cool about it. If you get flack its from the percentage that isn't. Small but loud percentage.
@@BrothersFromAnotherColor literally dope as hell not just that SUGA if you read it backward it would be AGUS and suga's another name is AGUST D where in D T at the end stands for Daegu Town it's his town in Korea!😊I would like to reccommend "Cypher 1,2,3 and 4" and Agust D "AGUST D MV"😍✊ THANKYOU FIR THE REACTUON I PURPLE YOU FIGHTING!✊
Shooting guard is only one interpretation and I don’t think it’s the most common one. I’ve heard that their CEO Bang Shi Hyuk gave him the name Suga because he is so pale and also because he has the sweetest smile.
I'm an ARMY, we are ARMYs. ARMY stands for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth. The name is connected to the meaning of BTS' korean name Bangtan Sonyeondan (it's explained in the last video about BTS). But I get people might think it's the ARMY, because we do look like an ARMY and are sometimes refered to as one.
Jin used to pull out hearts from all kinds of places on performances during their Wings era. There are still fan videos if you search for "BTS Jin hearts events" compilations to show this. Since he was scouted by BigHit for acting, he really had to put a lot of hours to learn singing and dancing.
WHAT?? Someone told him to stop dancing??? No, don't stop, do what u want, I think that's the best part (Sorry if I wrote(?)something wrong, I speak Portuguese)
Yes! I was hoping you guys would react to that. Keep in mind that the last song they sing, Spring day, has a separate video explaining the symbolism and meaning behind the lyrics since it was written about a national tragedy that happened in South Korea. It’s kind of a must watch.
Can’t wait!! You two are my new favorite reactors!!! Keep it up. Bts is amazing and you will find all kinds of fun content to watch from them. And us fans LOVE seeing people experience bts. Thank you for making these!!!
Something I find absolutely beautiful is their growth. You can see it very openly with Jimin. He is such a hard worker and was so hard on myself. He had an idea of whom he wanted or needed to be. As time went by you can see his change. You can see how he embraced his voice and his stage presence. He is an amazing artist! His voice is beautiful and so so different!
So for their names: Stage Name: RM (used to stand for "Rap Monster", some say it stands for "Real Me" now) Surname: Kim Given Name: Namjoon Korean: Kim Nam-joon (김남준) Revised Romanization of Korean: Gim Nam-jun Nicknames: Joon, Joonie, Namjoonie -- Stage Name: Jin Surname: Kim Given Name: Seokjin Korean: Kim Seok-jin (김석진) Revised Romanization of Korean: Gim Seok-jin Nicknames: Jinnie, Seokjinnie, WWH (Worldwide Handsome) -- Stage Name: Suga (pronounced like: Shoo-guh) (Suga comes from "Shooting Guard" his position when he played Basketball, he's also known as Agust D for his solo work → it's Suga backwards and DT for Daegu Town where he grew up) Surname: Min Given Name: Yoongi Korean: Min Yoon-gi (민윤기) Revised Romanization of Korean: Min Yun-gi Nicknames: Yoongles, Yoonie, Min Suga, lil meow meow -- Stage Name: j-hope (the j stands for his surname, and hope because he wants to be seen as a positive person) Surname: Jung Given Name: Hoseok Korean: Jung Ho-seok (정호석) Revised Romanization of Korean: Jeong Ho-seok Nicknames: Hobi, Sunshine, Seokie -- Stage Name: Jimin (pronounced like: the name Jim and in) Surname: Park Given Name: Jimin Korean: Park Ji-min (박지민) Revised Romanization of Korean: Bak Ji-min Nicknames: Jimin-ssi, Jiminie, Mochi -- Stage Name: V (it represents ‘victory’) Surname: Kim Given Name: Taehyung (pronounced like: Tay-he-young) Korean: Kim Tae-hyung (김태형) Revised Romanization of Korean: Gim Tae-hyeong Nickname: Tae, Tae Tae, Taehyungie -- Stage Name: Jungkook (pronounced like: John-guk) Surname: Jeon Given Name: Jungkook Korean: Jeon Jeong-guk (전정국) Revised Romanization of Korean: Jeon Jeong-guk Nicknames: JK, Kookie, Jungkookie -- A.R.M.Y Adorable Representative M.C for Youth hope this helped you..💜 (btw.. I like when you dance as long as it doesn't take your focus away from the video you try to react to!💜)
Another fun fact is there are a few members with royal family lineage. Of the Kim line (Namjoon/RM, Seokjin/Jin, and Taehyung/V) 2 of them - Jin and V - come from the Gwangsan Kim lineage , an important royal family that had a great presence during the rule of the Joseon dynasty , which lasted in government for more than 500 years. Also, Min Yoongi (Suga/Agust D) is a descendant of the famous and important Min clan or better known as Yeoheung Min, who belongs to the Joseon dynasty and one of the most admired Empresses of this family is Myeongseong. The Yeoheung Min were rulers in 242 senior positions within the royal court and 4 queens were also in power. This particular bit about Suga brings a whole extra level to a line in one of his songs from his most recent mix tape, 대 취 타 (Deachwita), "I'm a king, I'm a boss. You all know my name." I highly suggest giving that a listen to, it's amazing! Also, a lot of their songs have many references to Korean history and culture that can go unnoticed by western audiences. A great channel to get the full breakdown and deeper understanding of these is DKDK TV. Love your reactions and look forward to your journey into the BTS rabbit hole. Borahae💜
Man, i tell you what, its gonna be hard to get faces to names but NEVER,,, go by hair color or hairstyle,, anyways, i really liker your reaction,, im looking forward to more❤❤
@@unofficialnotmember8253 We are only being supportive because many people feel overwhelmed at first. No need to make anyone feel dumb if they don't find it easy! :-)
RM hasn't given an clear explaination on what RM stands for. Sure it might be Rap Monster, cause that was his former stage name, but it could also be Real Me. He is no longer Rap Monster, he is beyond that name.
@@commyskillz3457 he never said that, I literally JUST watched an interview where he talked about the change in his stage name, and like OP said it doesn't stand for any specific name
J-Hope sneaks up on you. The thing is if you're just watching stages or mvs, you're going to see certain members more than others. Sometimes you have to make an effort to look for how everyone stands out. Because they all really bring something crucial. J-Hope is my bias but I was eight months in when he snatched me up after seeing him live. Now I can't take my eyes off of him whenever he's on screen. You'll get to see over time how each of them shine. Especially if you ever get into behind the scenes stuff and their older stuff and lives. Excited to watch with you! You guys are doing great!
Also, the song RM and Wale made together is called "Change". I think you two would enjoy the song, so feel free to check it out or react to it some time!
RM (Namjoon) studio is no longer called “Mon Studio” . He changed it to “Rkive” a play on word to “Archive”. Since he makes music in the studio and essentially is an archive of their music over the years. BTS have over 200+ songs but that doesn’t count any collaborations or free music/albums/covers they’ve released as solo artist on SoundCloud !!!
Also, it's not just the seven of them. The collaboration with their company---the CEO, performance director, choreographers, stylists, backup dancers, camera operators--they're all working together to make this amazing work. I CANNOT WAIT to watch you react to Mic Drop, On, Daechwita, and so many more! 💜
Before they become BTS they're doing their own thing. RM and SUGA being an underground rapper and SUGA already an underground producer that time. JHOPE being a famous street dancer. JIMIN being a top 1 student for contemporary dancing. JIN being a college student studying acting. V for being a happy son of a farmer. JUNGKOOK for being a highschool student that age 13yrs old. The members are best of the best on their own craft. Bighit literally hit a jackpot by gathering the 7 of them. Not just talented individual but being a generous people and have a good attitude. I'm a fan because of their music but I became an Army because of their attitude. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
A.r.m.y-adorable represents m.s. for youth Bts-bulletproof boy scouts(block out stereotypes,criticism) Love your reactions! I purple you(I love you forever)💜
If you're watching their concert on YT, the Love Yourself Sao Paolo show is the best one I've seen. The Roseball show, you can see the fireworks in full. Biggest crowd is Wembley stadium. Their concerts runs 2hrs 30min+ even the recent MOTS On:E online concert.
Oooh, you caught on! J-Hope is a big fan of J. Cole. BTS actually remade/covered Born sinner, it's amazing. The song is called Born Singer (if you wanna check it out, there is a really cool live out there with subs, but I think some other reactions to the live of this song got taken down, not sure. Maybe someone else will have more info on it!)
Idk if u know this, but in Korean the last name is in the front and the actual name is in the back Jins last name for example is Kim and his name is Seokjin So in America Kim Seokjin would be Seokjin Kim :)
I would explain it as: Family First. So Koreans give their family name first, then their given name. P.S. Korean names are generally 3 syllables, with the family name being the 1st syllable.
Hi from Philippines! I'm a physician and I also think this group is great! Watching their different contents (live performances, behind the stage footage, world tour documentaries and traveling series) is my daily comfort after every exhausting shift at the hospital. Your videos of them has just been added to the list! Looking forward for more! Thank you for your hard work!💜
well BTS said in their song that “You can call me artist You can call me idol No matter what you call me I don’t care I’m proud of it I’m free No more irony Cuz I was always just me” ~~ lyrics from their song IDOL
As a new fan I fell for the "I'll learn the hair colors" trap but took me a couple of videos to realize it won't work, so I did 2 things: 1. Get a hd pick of the group with names and focus on facial features that stan up more. 2. Paid attention to their voices ( except for jimin jungkook part in Dope) there were times in the begging when I didn't know who was singing, but could get it by how they sound like.
Yes you guys we're right, the order of the members always for us and the company and themselves, starts with the leader and then the others following by age, RM first and then starts from the oldest to the youngest. Great video, thank you 💜
I always love to see new people reacting and loving these guys! It makes my ARMY heart so happy!! Hope to see you continue to be genuine and go down this rabbit hole that as AMAZING as it is REWARDING! Your also jumping in at a good time they have a new album that will be here on the 20th! 💜
RM, rapper Jin, vocals Suga (Shuga) rapper JHope, the one you forgot -rapper Jimin, vocals V, vocals Jungkook (Jungkuk), main vocalist older male/brother is Hyung (Yung) also, BTS doesn't restrict themselves in 2 or 3 genres, they are their own genre technically. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!
Thanks for the reaction! BTS never stuck in one genre, they have tried many things, from acid jazz to Moombahton trap. But they started with hip hop / R&B so you can say that those are their base genres RM once described BTS as group of people that are in the same boat but looking at different directions and Suga described their process of making music as a "year-round song camp" were everybody is always working with different ideas and then they decide what melodie, what lyrics and which direction is the best for a song, that's why even if it's a song from the vocalists you may find the rappers' names on the credits Hope you keep discovering their versatility!
There are clear roles right from the beginning in idol groups. RM was given the title of leader and he took that responsibility from their company. In Korean groups, a leader is more like a captain of the team The other roles given by the company - it goes main>lead>regular>sub (I have no idea how they differentiate between main and lead for it to translate, so I'm thinking it was confusion through translation) RM - Main rapper, Leader Suga - Lead Rapper J-Hope - Main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist (dance leader - he makes sure choreo and performance is up to par) Jin - Main Visual, Vocalist Jimin - Main Dancer (also will help with choreo with J-hope but no official role with that), Lead vocalist V - dancer, vocalist, visual JK - Main Vocalist, Lead dancer, sub rapper If you check out Crash Course 2020, it's very informative about their albums
Note that Korea doesn't have last names. They have what you call surnames. For example RM's surname is Kim and his actual name is Namjoon. Same goes to the others
Your surname IS your last name. That's what "surname" means. They just do it in reverse - last name first - as opposed to other countries who do their surname last.
The word leader involving boy bands and girl groups in South Korea, China, and sometimes japan are different in other parts of the world. The US point of view would be the most popular member. But South Korea chooses the leader by who can handle disputes, who can bring the group together, who delivers speeches, who starts the greeting, and who goes to the ceo if there are issues. The center is usually the most popular member. In kpop groups there is the center, the best dancer, rapper, main vocal, leader. That doesn’t mean that the other members do not know how to do someone else’s role but it’s typically whose the best at it.
Finally! Thank you for your reaction. BTS’ songs are more than 400 include each member’s free realeased songs so you can pick songs as your taste. Please react to each solo songs : RM-Persona, Jin-Epiphany, Suga-Shadow, Jhope-Ego, Jimin-Serendipity, V-Singularity, Jungkook-Euphoria. You will realise their faces and voices more. p.s.Don’t forget to turn the caption on.
Dance all you want. I live in Michigan, but I go to Chicago for their concerts because I can just ride the train and not have to deal with traffic. I hope you do get to see them in concert and just know their are no bad seats. The performance and energy is that good. 💜
I love how you guys are so honest about giving your point of view and staying interested on them, you're such funny guys and I can't wait for you to react to other songs of them. (Srry if my English is kinda weird or bad, love from Mexico!)
The captions are too funny lmao 😂 “nope that was Jimin” the way u corrected ur self hahahahahahaha I’m so sorry, I don’t know why but it’s so funny to me 🤣
Thanks for the reaction! We love it! Don't stop dancing either, we don't want you to miss stuff so don't do things like turning away but you should still dance!
They do all bring something different to the table. If you want an intimate live performance, I recommend Armypedia. Its a fan favorite. You could also check out Tiny Desk Concert too 💜
First of all THANK YOU for your genuine reaction and giving BTS a listen with an open mind. They are a Group from South Korea. They started in a small company called BIGHIT which was basically bankrupt. BTS has now made the company the MOST PROFITABLE in KOREA. However, BTS is not a boyband by western definition. They are a group with a message of self love, mental health awareness, ending child abuse/violence, world change, environmental awareness, Human rights, Performance Arts and positivity to name a few. You always want to turn on your captions when watching MVs, ALL MV's are filled with symbolism in every part of the video even the tiniest thing so always watch their videos to the very last second as they leave hints everywhere. BTS and the BTSARMY is a GLOBAL MOVEMENT to promote love and posivity while covering issues which impact the youth and those whom speak out against injustices. Since their debut they have not only proved the world wrong but dominated the global music industry while breaking records and making historic precedents. BTS stands for "BANGTAN SONYEONDAN" in Korean which translates to "BULLETPROOF BOYSCOUTS" and their adopted English name is "BEYOND THE SCENE". BULLETPROOF BOYSCOUTS means to protect the youth from the unrealistic expectations, criticisms and stereotypes that rain down on adolescents like bullets. However this slogan applies to all of the BTSARMY no matter the age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, religion, skin color, or language. The fandom (family) is ARMY which stands for ADORABLE REPRESENTATIVE MC for YOUTH. SUGA is pronounced (Shoo-Ga) which is an abbreviated form of his basketball position shooting gaurd in high school and AGUST-D is SUGA and Town of Daegu backwards which is his hometown. JUNG HOSEOK aka J-HOPE= Dance Leader, main dancer, rapper, producer, sub-Vocalist. J-HOPE chose his name as his the initial of his surname JUNG and HOPE because he wants to be the ray of sunshine to the world and his band mates. VOCAL LINE: KIM SEOKJIN aka JIN = Visual, Vocalist and eldest member PARK JIMIN aka JIMIN (JM) = Lead vocalist and Lead dancer KIM TAEHYUNG aka V = vocalist and dancer. V pronounced (bwi) in Korean stands for VICTORY/VICTORIOUS. He chose his English name to be VINCENT after Vincent VanGogh. JEON JUNGKOOK aka JUNGKOOK (JK) = GOLDEN MAKNAE (youngest) MAIN Vocalist, dancer, sub-producer, sub-Rapper DANCE LINE: J-HOPE, JIMIN JUNGKOOK, and V (TAEHYUNG) DEADLIEST MEMBERS: JIMIN: Upper level Kendo Japanese Master Swordsman, Blackbelt in Hapkido Taekwondo, and Archery JUNGKOOK: Blackbelt in Taekwondo, Korean Boxing, MMA, Archery, fastest and strongest member (Literally good at everything) Note: ALL MEMBERS can sing, rap, dance, songwrite, act, model, choreograph, and direct **Members real names go by Family name first then given name.** There is a saying in the BTS ARMY, “BTS shows up when you need them most.” I believe that GOD put them in your path for a reason. Good Luck and enjoy the journey of getting to know BTS, what they stand for as a group, and each member individually. They are truly genuinely worth knowing. BTS + ARMY = BORAHAE (Eternal Love) 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 TOMORROW BY TOGETHER (TXT) + (MOA) MOMENTS OF ALWAYSNESS = ONE DREAM LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF for you are the LIGHT which shines upon others like the MOON in the night sky surrounded by a MIKROKOSMOS of stars leading to a universe where SERENDIPITY and EUPHORIA awaits you with no STIGMA to contain you. For BTS will be your FILTER and cause your INNER CHILD to AWAKE.
You guys can enjoy these videos however you like! As for talking, I think the majority of army would agree we have no problem with people talking. We only ask that the video be paused so you don't miss anything since the captions or lyrics are important. Also it's harder to hear what you have to say if the video is on in the background. We really love long videos hehe so no worries there. The thing about BTS is, they're a rare bunch to find. Normally people say it's better not to meet your heroes coz you might be disappointed. But with BTS, the more you get to know them, the more you get drawn to them because they're just genuinely good guys. It's been around since 2013 and every single person who has ever worked with them has only ever had the loveliest of stories to say about their encounter. And they're incredibly grounded. Fame normally messes with a person's head, especially when they find fame young. But these guys have only become humbler with their years. It's like finding a bunch of people who have wisdom beyond their years. They inspire me to be a better version of myself. They stand up for what's right and that's honestly what we need today when the world seems like it's regressing.
Hey Fellas, I'm a Michigan alum and I fell down the BTS rabbit hole about 3 months ago. You will get there. I went in order of total views so hit the big ones like MIC Drop, Idol, Fake Love, Boy with Luv, then I went back to the beginning, but then I used the Spotify This is BTS playlist and heard a song and then went on YT to catch the videos. Enjoy learning about these amazing young men and yes I'm Army now. My husband and kids think I'm crazy. They just don't know.
Just a little addition to Jimin's part of the video because it doesn't show a lot: his talents also are martial arts like taekwondo (black belt), drawing and dancing in various styles, he's also crazy flexible. He is involved in the music making process and lyrics now too - he broke Drake's soundcloud record with his song 'promise'. He's such an emotionally aware person and has this naturally careful way of speaking which is why he's such a comforting person. I would recommend you watching BTS' vlive and RUN episodes to get to know them all individually. And the 2018 and 2019 MAMA and MMA live performances are absolutely legendary, please watch them too if you like! Also so much happened since this introduction video, they all released solo projects and they all broke so many records and hold a lot of "first in history"-titles. BTS are a truly talented and inspiring group.
23:30 j-hope stands out more on their hiphopy and loud songs such as 'dionysus', 'baepsae' and 'mic drop'. ARMYs who have attended at least one concert of BTS said that j-hope does not gain much attention from music videos, but every single person who attended the concert comes home thinking about him. They said he goes off during live performances. Please react to their MMA 2019 performance. It's a 40 minute video but ARMYs love longer videos lol. Also, if you want to see more of his swag, talent and charisma, you should check out his 'Chicken Noodle Soup' ft. Becky G. Love your reactions!💜
LOVE the dancing! Please don't stop 💜 Yes, pausing the video is my favorite way to watch reactions. One of the things I love most as an educator is the way they blow up toxic masculinity. They aren't afraid to do things considered 'feminine'. They wear women's clothes when they like, they are physically affectionate, they cry--they're more emotionally complete than most people I know. Also, they are the living embodiment of Practice Makes Better. Such great role models that way! (And pretty soon you'll be like so many of us who can tell their voices apart almost instantly. And I only first heard BTS Aug 21, 2020 😁)
Please ignore the people who are suggesting for you not to talk. Most of the time the viewers have probably seen the video you're reacting to. I personally want to know your thoughts because I'm excited to see what you think of BTS and their content rather than to just watch the video with you. Love your reactions so far! Keep up the good vibes and content :)
Yes! DETROIT, REPRESENT! Sadly, closest concerts are Toronto and Chicago. I had tickets to both locations for May this year, before they were postponed due to COVID. :( Keep reacting! Love it! 💜
What? Who told you to stop dancing??? 🤦🏼♀️ Nonsense!
It’s your channel so do whatever you feel right for you guys!

I love the dancing!
Yes.. Love to see your dancing...
We don't mind you talking, just pause the video so we can hear you and no need to mute the music unless it's their Japanese music.. You be in copyright hell with Japanese content
Thank you! We’re still trying to figure it out, last thing we want is to get our page flagged or shutdown
No problem. And one more thing.. Their family name is first then their first name. Example... Kim Namjoon will be in the west Namjoon Kim (RM)
Funny, I must’ve been watching that video hundreds times... I can still hear all the music and all the conversations in my head... Haha. 🤣
@@oh-crumbs samee i play it in my head as each one every single song of the whole video intro to outro🤣‼️i can watch it on mute and still know
In the part of the video where V and Jimin were goofing off and Trale said, "They was really 25, 24?", they were actually both 17 at the time. It was their debut year, 2013.
Pls remember this is an old video and some of the clips are really old, thats why they look so young and not the same to you. They have come such a long way 💜 you will learn their names as you react to them, dont stress. Enjoy their music and get to know them on the road.
hi there i am a 53 year old ARMY grandmother , enjoyed your reaction , we purple you
I am with you. I am 52
Nicely said👍💜
I've never actually seen someone intelligently defend the acronym, this makes me feel better, thanks
@@lilyduck4538 That means so much to me! 💜💜💜
@@lilyduck4538 Thank's 💜💜💜💜
I recommend watching their 2019 MAMA live performance. Again I highly recommend it, you guys will love it.
I highly recmmend waiting with that til you know the names, faces, more about the guys and the songs in the performance. It will be much better then and more appreciated. Wait.

What should we react to NEXT?
👇🏾COMMENT BELOW👇🏾
Jimmy Fallon BTS week ☺
"Tiny desk concert" would be another option (songs sung here: Dynamite, Spring day, Save Me)
I loved your reaction! and we don't mind wherever you choose to do when reacting!
*Don't Do This* Notes:
Don't listen to anyone who says to start reacting to the "storyline" aka Bangtan Universe (BU).
The rest of her channel is fanfic. lol
Yeah...so...I'm an ARMY Recruiter who tries to inform and eliminate confusion. Please feel free to ask questions.
Above all: DON'T GET OVERWHELMED!

Sometimes you have to make an effort to look for how everyone stands out. Because they all really bring something crucial. J-Hope is my bias but I was eight months in when he snatched me up after seeing him live. Now I can't take my eyes off of him whenever he's on screen. BTS have over 200+ songs but that doesn’t count any collaborations or free music/albums/covers they’ve released as solo artist on SoundCloud !!!

also, BTS doesn't restrict themselves in 2 or 3 genres, they are their own genre technically. BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!
You can check out their concert video.
Thanks for the reaction!
BTS never stuck in one genre, they have tried many things, from acid jazz to Moombahton trap. But they started with hip hop / R&B so you can say that those are their base genres
RM once described BTS as group of people that are in the same boat but looking at different directions and Suga described their process of making music as a "year-round song camp" were everybody is always working with different ideas and then they decide what melodie, what lyrics and which direction is the best for a song, that's why even if it's a song from the vocalists you may find the rappers' names on the credits
Hope you keep discovering their versatility!
There are clear roles right from the beginning in idol groups. RM was given the title of leader and he took that responsibility from their company. In Korean groups, a leader is more like a captain of the team
The other roles given by the company - it goes main>lead>regular>sub (I have no idea how they differentiate between main and lead for it to translate, so I'm thinking it was confusion through translation)
RM - Main rapper, Leader
Suga - Lead Rapper
J-Hope - Main dancer, lead rapper, sub-vocalist (dance leader - he makes sure choreo and performance is up to par)
Jin - Main Visual, Vocalist
Jimin - Main Dancer (also will help with choreo with J-hope but no official role with that), Lead vocalist
V - dancer, vocalist, visual
JK - Main Vocalist, Lead dancer, sub rapper
If you check out Crash Course 2020, it's very informative about their albums
they don't really use/go by the roles (besides leader/rapper/vocalist of course) anymore
Family name. Call it that.
@@AngelaSealana it's called surnames just like in the west it's last name. Family name can be last name as well
@@MystiqueRisingSun yes but as last name gets people confused we say surname to devide them both as it's still not wrong
That doesn’t mean that the other members do not know how to do someone else’s role but it’s typically whose the best at it.
i feel like RM stood out to new ppl bcs he got that Leader charisma

I live in Michigan, but I go to Chicago for their concerts because I can just ride the train and not have to deal with traffic. I hope you do get to see them in concert and just know their are no bad seats. The performance and energy is that good. 💜
I love how you guys are so honest about giving your point of view and staying interested on them, you're such funny guys and I can't wait for you to react to other songs of them. (Srry if my English is kinda weird or bad, love from Mexico!)
The order they are introduced, and the order of the fan chant, is Leader RM first, then the rest oldest to youngest.
The captions are too funny lmao 😂 “nope that was Jimin” the way u corrected ur self hahahahahahaha I’m so sorry, I don’t know why but it’s so funny to me 🤣
GOOD! Just a little editing humor in there to 1) show we are learning and 2) to let everyone who KNOWS BTS already laugh with us!
BTS ARMY is BTS ARMY

There is a saying in the BTS ARMY, “BTS shows up when you need them most.” I believe that GOD put them in your path for a reason. Good Luck and enjoy the journey of getting to know BTS, what they stand for as a group, and each member individually. They are truly genuinely worth knowing.
BTS + ARMY = BORAHAE (Eternal Love)
💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
TOMORROW BY TOGETHER (TXT) + (MOA) MOMENTS OF ALWAYSNESS = ONE DREAM
LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF for you are the LIGHT which shines upon others like the MOON in the night sky surrounded by a MIKROKOSMOS of stars leading to a universe where SERENDIPITY and EUPHORIA awaits you with no STIGMA to contain you.
Oh, their concert is amazing! You will have a great time.
When you are watching all this stuff remember that the footage may come from different years and their looks changed alot over the last 7 years.
Suga's intro song was Agust D by Agust D (his solo mixtape)
Thanks guys, new subscriber 😊
Hey Fellas, I'm a Michigan alum and I fell down the BTS rabbit hole about 3 months ago. You will get there. I went in order of total views so hit the big ones like MIC Drop, Idol, Fake Love, Boy with Luv, then I went back to the beginning, but then I used the Spotify This is BTS playlist and heard a song and then went on YT to catch the videos.
Enjoy learning about these amazing young men and yes I'm Army now. My husband and kids think I'm crazy. They just don't know.
Love your reactions!! You dance however you want!!
The only reactors I've watch so far who first appreciates ANPANMAN like so rare and unique 😅😅 💜💜
The positive thing about being an ARMY is that you love yourself, love each other and respect others. So keep dancing.......Love both of you!
You can also watch an introduction from bts_gadaursan if you want to know more about them. There is 7 separate videos - 1 for each member
It's highly recommend, please react to it. It's not that long, it's precise, well edit and worth your time.

Yay CK!
Definitely watch MAMA 2019 next!
And really, dance, talk, be you! I hope the sheer size of the fans doesn't overwhelm you. Take care of yourselves
Please don't stop 💜
Yes, pausing the video is my favorite way to watch reactions.
The songs you sing are like the tippest of the tip of the iceberg.
ARMY is an acronym for Adorable Representative MC for Youth
It’s a good reaction and keep it up.. you can do whatever you want.. it’s your channel
It’s okay about names, you’re still learning
Please ignore the people who are suggesting for you not to talk. Most of the time the viewers have probably seen the video you're reacting to. I personally want to know your thoughts because I'm excited to see what you think of BTS and their content rather than to just watch the video with you. Love your reactions so far! Keep up the good vibes and content :)
Yes! DETROIT, REPRESENT!
Sadly, closest concerts are Toronto and Chicago. I had tickets to both locations for May this year, before they were postponed due to COVID. :(
Keep reacting! Love it! 💜
bc u react to bts, liked and subscribed done
