Nice video, I own a Seat Leon FR ST with 150 bhp and 250 NM of torque and I love it. But what was shocking to me was the price.... 217k dollar in singapore are over 100.000 € (~136k€)... wtf is going on in Singapore.... I thought it is still expensive to buy a car in Germany.... to compare the numbers the list price of my car was ~31k € dropped to ~27k€ with discount.... thats 1/4 of the price in Singapore, or should I say Singapoor?! I have heared about very high prices because the politics don't want to much traffic and pollution + taxes, is this correct? Nice video, I also love the wagon (ST) :)
We have steep taxes upon fees on top of the existing car cost as a strong deterrent to owning cars. Even at these exorbitant prices, the cars are only valid for 10 years and have to be renewed at additional cost after. Singapore's official stance is to deter car ownership in part due to our tiny land available. But even with these steep measures, plenty of cars still ply the road, which kind of prove its necessity 😅
Ya. Singapore car prices are crazy. Bread and butter family cars selling at around $120k these days. These high prices are to control the car population to allow traffic on the roads "flow"able. If cars are affordable, every corner will be faced with jam.
Wondering why all their test cars in every dealership around the world are concrete gray. IMHO the ugliest color of them all. Ordered mine in red although SEAT's blue would look better imho. Yet it's not available for Cupra.
I enjoyed this video a lot. Subscribed! I was so surprised when I saw only 20 subscribers under a great video.
hey! i cant stop watching this video. especially taking into consider that i have ordered one of those almost matching same spec you were driving.
Nice effort for a first video. Subscribed.
This car is crazy. That kind of performance is not usually at this price.
Great video, love your editing with sharp cuts and
Special thanks to SEAT Singapore/Vertex Euro Motors for the loan!
