Btw, the headcrab, whilst on the head of the heavy, was actually pretty fucking well aniamted!
In my opinion, you should start making animation projects that take you a bit longer to complete.
Something that you will polish until it is a really good and smooth animation.
Maybe you should try your hand at first person animation?
I made a knife model for counter-strike, ask me and I´ll compile it for SFM, so that you can try animating it (Dunno, maybe for Gordons hands or something).
