- Second Peter 3:3-14 tells us that willful ignorance will abound in the Last Days - so if you feel like many people are intentionally ignoring sound logic and failing to comprehend basic truth and principles, you probably aren’t wrong. In our May 2024 Prophecy Update, we look at some worldwide issues people are often ignorant about, how these are signs of the times, and how we can ensure we think discerningly and biblically as we watch these things unfold.

Me as well. I feel so isolated and alone on one hand, but I get immense comfort that I am NOT alone, because I know the Lord is with me, and He fills me with His peace. I know He is in control of it all, so I pray for the unsaved (especially my family and friends), and then just not to worry about it because I know His will WILL be done, and I believe His promise that there will be no more pain and tears.

PRAY!!! He that watches over Israel never sleeps, His ear is turned to His people, and we are to pray continually. And God will direct our steps to what He wants us to do.
Just recently read Isaiah chapter 29 very good
It's so sad that many people fail to see the truth and follow the masses .I always wondered how the deception will effect the people but now I know .
Im affraid to say..but one of the biggest end time deceptions (mainly for American / Western churches) will be the ''pretrib rapture'' that will not happen.
I’m perfectly fine with Pastor Meador discussing political topics when those topics and policies are in and affect the Biblical arena.
Finally, a church within driving distance of my home where the Bible is being preached verse by verse!! Instead of a 20min sermon with 6 verses and an obscure message filled with personal anecdotes.

Willful ignorance… such a terrible and destructive thing. My husband and I were talking with our neighbors last night. Their 16yo daughter was chatting with us and we asked her what she was considering after graduation next year. I asked if she had been hearing about all the issues on college campuses and would this affect her decision making process. She had no idea that there were any issues or that there was even a war. Her mom tried to tell her that yes, there’s a war in Israel, then quickly stated they had to get back home.
So the parents know. We can’t shield our kids from these things forever. They have to be prepared. I’m praying for the family. Have been for years. They are Mormon and the sweetest people ever, but they have it all wrong…😢

it's a ridiculous world we're living in right now. the amount of ignorance and tomfoolery is baffling. Bible prophecy right before our very eyes people. keep standing strong for what's right. 🇮🇱✝️
I know lost people and people who claim to be born-again who absolutely don’t want to let go of this world. They mock the rapture and many have told me they believe in the rapture but aren’t looking forward to it.
Thing is, most of them have major stress in their lives (financial, medical, general drama), and STILL think this life is better than being in heaven. I’m over here living a quiet, drama free life with a good paying job (all glory to God) and I can’t wait to leave. Make it make sense 🙏🏻

And we know there is a crown waiting for those of us who long for and love His appearing!! How do they not know that? They either don't know their Bible or ignore parts that don't fit their twisted doctrine.
You canNOT believe in Jesus and the rapture and NOT look forward to it! Not really. So many of us are homesick for a place we’ve never been! Jesus, we finally get to be f2f with Jesus! And major bonus- no sin and new bodies. All the “good” stuff in the world put together can’t come close to a second in Heaven. Maranatha!
@@ssummers9541 I have a 46 y/o co-worker who has been Church Of Christ all her life. I mentioned the Bema Seat Judgement one day and she’d never heard of it. I explained the Bema Seat, Great White Throne, and Sheep/Goat Judgements. She had no idea what I was talking about and showed no interest in investigating further 😢
Another co-worker in her 50’s claims to be saved but mocks the rapture and even told me she doesn’t want it to happen because she has a trip to Disney planned, concerts she plans to attend, and wants to become a grandmother first. 😢

Tens of thousands. The speaker and those that applaud what he says, are they peacemakers, are they loving the enemy and are praying for them? Like the Son of the Great I Am said, we as believers Should Do! Have they even got a normal heart of flesh in their chests, seeing all the poor children being !

Great news, Brenda. Please be aware, salvation must received by faith alone, with no reliance on any works, such as water baptism, for salvation. Faith Only on Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) DEATH (includes the shedding of Lord Jesus’ blood), BURIAL, and RESURRECTION, with NO faith on any type of human effort, works, or claimed positive human qualities is required for eternal salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9 (KJV) - “For by GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT of YOURSELVES: it is the gift of God; NOT of WORKS, lest any man should boast.” (GRACE means UNDESERVED GIFT.)
Romans 11:6 (KJV), “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace....” (Trusting on ANY human effort or works means that person is Not under grace )
Water Baptism cannot be part of HOW a person is saved / born-again.
1 Corinthians 1:17 (KJV) - “For Christ sent me NOT to BAPTIZE, but to preach the gospel; not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of NO EFFECT.”
Galatians 5:4 (KJV), “Christ is become of NO EFFECT unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law (works); ye are fallen (separated) from grace."
God makes the believer of the gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (KJV), Permanently Born-Again (Spiritually Sinless Standing in God’s Eyes); this is a one-time event. This is the SPIRITUAL WASHING that water baptism ONLY SYMBOLIZED. Notice it's NOT by Religious Works / Human effort:
John 3:3 (KJV), “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born-again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 1:12-13 (KJV), “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons (children) of God, even to them that believe on his name. Which were BORN, not of blood, NOR OF THE WILL OF THE FLESH, NOR OF THE WILL OF MAN, BUT OF GOD.”
Titus 3:5 (KJV), “NOT by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the WASHING OF REGENERATION, and renewing of the Holy Spirit.”
Calling and/or Confessing with your mouth are WORKS and CANNOT be part of How a person receives Eternal Salvation. Romans Ch. 10 includes 'Calling and Confessing' for salvation, and that refers to PHYSICAL Salvation, RESCUE or DELIVERANCE, in the tribulation, NOT Eternal Salvation, which is forgiveness of All Sins, and being made Born-Again (Spiritually Sinless) by God upon belief of the gospel (1 Cor. 15:1-4). The chapter overall refers to two totally different types of salvation. One is eternal salvation received by faith, plus nothing, and the other is verbally calling/confessing for Physical Deliverance in the Tribulation. God through Paul is referring to Joel 2:32, and Paul would understand the meaning and intent of calling or confessing, which is physical deliverance.

John 10:33 (KJV), “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, MAKEST THYSELF GOD.”
Colossians 1:15 (KJV), “Jesus is the image of the invisible GOD......"
1 Timothy 3:16 (KJV), “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: GOD was manifest in the flesh."

Water Baptism is 100% Definitely a work. ANYTHING a person does, other than BELIEVE (Faith), is a work. There is no problem with being water baptized as long as the person wanting to receive salvation has NO Trust on water baptism, or any other work, for receiving salvation. That means the described person must trust ONLY on the payment for all sins made by Jesus’ (God the Son who came as God in flesh) DEATH (includes the shedding of Lord Jesus’ blood), BURIAL, and RESURRECTION, plus Nothing.

WHY were the Jewish believers commanded to be water baptized? It was prophesied Israel would be kingdom of priests: Exodus 19:6 (KJV), “And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.” To be a priest they were commanded to be ceremoniously cleansed: Leviticus 16:24 (KJV), “And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people." Water baptism was only a SYMBOL of the Spiritual washing that God performs on the believer to make the believer born-again (Spiritually Sinless and saved). Water baptism ONLY SHOWED evidence of the believer’s faith. All saved people, at any time, are saved by FAITH, plus NOTHING. To be saved with faith on any commandment keeping, a person would have to keep ALL of the commandments, which is impossible; and keeping all of the commandments would mean NO savior would be needed. The people being water baptized were NOT saved because they were water baptized. Christians are Not under Old Testament (OT) law, so Christians are NOT commanded to be water baptized. Romans 10:4 (KJV), “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.”

I was giving a testimony today at a garage sale a young man was in the garage with me looking at stuff and I asked the woman giving the garage sale if she was a believer in the doctrine of Jesus Christ and if she was aware of how close the time of the rapture is about to happen the young man ran out of the garage some old boy was walking up to the garage and said there's some rapture girl in there LOL so I got accused today of being a rapture girl I thought to myself prophecy being fulfilled mockers and scoffers I didn't even have to say the name Jesus in the demons were running😊❤

EXACTLY! And it was the leadership that led the common Jewish people astray. They were bad shepherds which is why Messiah kept stating He was the good shepherd. The book of John also shows so clearly it was all Gods timing and His will as per Isaiah 53 that our Savior had to die.There were many opportunities to arrest Jesus and He clearly states His time had not yet come. It was all divinely orchestrated and His choice to willingly lay His life down.

Tell her you can't have your cake and eat it too (I think that is the saying) you are not giving your money away it's going to Jesus to help the less fortunate. The Lord loves a cheerful giver. Tell her that you can't be a Christian at not have faith.

This is the Gospel by which we are saved and sealed by the Holy Spirit to the day of our redemption (the rapture):

For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures (Old Testament/Torah/Tanakh prophecies), and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (again, Old Testament/Torah/Tanakh prophecies).

“In Him (Jesus) you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the GOSPEL OF YOUR SALVATION (read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4); in whom also, having BELIEVED, you were SEALED with the Holy Spirit of promise”

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were SEALED for the day of redemption.”

I have seen MANY christians actually say they don't believe we are in the last days and say "people have been saying that for hundreds of years". And i am also seeing alot of unbelievers asking "could this be the end times". Its perplexing to me.

An indepth Prophecy update - the title and image are both apt - speaking volumns! Thank you, PASTOR BRETT. Your updates are crucial and I am thankful/grateful to God for such ministries/pastors/teachers as yourself - among a number of others - who are biblically based. You highlighted current issues in an easy to understand way, along with evidencing commitment to standing flatfooted on the Truth of Scripture - which seems far and few between. Specifically in these dark days, where lies are deemed as truth! It is imperative that believers maintain a balanced view in following biblical principles v aligning themselves with political ideologies which ultimately blurrs true vision! This is a major (ongoing) concern to many within the church community as they see an increased assault of both leaders and congregants going - astray! May Almighty God continue to bless and keep all faithful shepherds (like yourself) as they feed His sheep on the pure milk (and meat) of the WORD! Watching from England 🇮🇱😊📖

Yes we should pray but also do something when we had the riots in South Africa we cordoned off our areas city suburbs even the taxi drivers brining the people refused to bring them cause they knew they were a threat to their livelihood. Might not be possible for you guys cause God may have lifted his hand off protection as I've heard so many pastors say in America 😢 will pray 🙏🏻

To update on the 5 middle school ladies, it was in Bridgeport, WV and it was a county championship track meet. The girls were suspended for 1 meet and their parents and many, many others are fighting it including the state attorney general.
The Gentiles / Romans also participated ( they made the crown of thrones, they beat Him mercilessly, they mocked and scoffed, Roman Soldier put spear in His Side) God Used both equaling all of humanity at The Cross. I knew a whole slew of people that are willingly ignorant about the times that we are living in. It’s so disgusting and disturbing!
I just had a run-in with a "Christian" today. I was at a garden center, and I was asking someone totally else who I knew whether or not the church that they attended, they are a deacon there, if it was Bible based because I was a member of a United Methodist Church in which I had left. This random man came up and said I'm a member of the United Methodist Church. We are at church of Jesus and Jesus is love. I asked him if he knew what the conference for the United church had decided and he said yes. Tried to continue to argue with me that they are at church of love and they stand for what Jesus stands for love is love.
As a footnote, this blissful ignorance of "Christians "this service came to mind right away. The man, I was speaking to, who was his boss, asked him to step away. This very proud United Methodist Church member was openly aggressive towards me for disagreeing with what the conference had decided and choosing to leave the church and looking for a new church.
