Pushing the idea that full frame = professional and APS-C is "entry level" within the opening statement must be called out. You (rightly) go on to say that it's more about the settings than the sensor, but surely we are over the sensor size issue in 2024? The myth that to be pro, you must have a full frame camera is just BS.
Contrary to some, your edits look fine. Raw files are flat. You did a great job. It might sound strange, even though landscape is purely static in many ways, it still needs to evoke an emotion within the viewer in the end. Just like any other photograph. Composition is the key. Go back 20 years ago and they are some spectacular landscape photos with much less megapixels and dynamic range. Most people do not see what we photographers see in terms of technicalities. Just go out and shoot and work with what you got instead of wishing for better this and that. I shoot A7, but my GR III has done some amazing landscapes, as well as my Sony X100V. Cheers.
You're right but when I'm out and about shooting landscapes I want the flexibility to also capture that moment when a bird sits on a branch or when I see a wild pony running, or fox cubs playing. I can't buy a separate camera for all those things and schlep them through the countryside. So I need that animal eye tracking and quick focus and burst mode.
Thanks for keeping it up Anthony. Here's one of your Finnish followers. I'm on a pretty tight budget due to health issues and using a Canon 250D/SL3. What lens or which lenses would be best for landscape photos? Like I said my budget is pretty low so I cant even think about some really good quality lenses. Focal length should be maybe 18-35mm or some like that. But rather prime than zoom lens, right?
What camera do you use to shoot landscapes?
Canon 250D/SL3
Fujifilm X-T2/X-E3, depending on the weather.
@@og_sane same !! The more time I spend on internet the more I meet people who use the same camera as me. That's really surprising
GFX100II
I shoot on a D850. It’s great but I wouldn’t mind upgrading to something lighter in a few years.

Should I buy the Canon r5 for event coverage ? You have been using it what do you think.

RIP "Light", you will be missed...😂
Leica M10R, M10M
💡 Anthony, get a grip, folks don't need top tier gear.
Fuji GFX 100: ii, £7000 - body
At that price, only body, NOPE
Najlepszy dla kogo? Coś, co jest dobre dla jednego nie musi być dobre dla kogoś innego.
your shots are better before you precess them
Lol dude just dropping names for hugely expensive gear
4K = 8 MP
That depends on the aspect ratio.
@@AnthonyGugliotta, no, 4k is 8MP. Full stop.
3:2 sensor needs more than 8MP to produce 4k image, which is different story.
FIRST!!!
Second!!
