Joe is not just a great photographer, he also possesses a wonderful way of putting that across not just in images but in the spoken word. I have watched all I can of him on video and managed to catch him speak at a few events and his passion for nature & making images is second to none I would say. Is he my favourite photographer, without doubt. Thanks Sigma for putting this together.
These are wonderfully informative and encouraging video's from Joe, especially for a novice such as myself. Having taken up photography very late in life, these are a Godsend so thank you. 🍷
Absolutely wonderful! Joe's words certainly syncs with my mindset of becoming a landscape photographer in a couple of years. A photographer's role is not just taking great photos it is also to identify the spot which could result in a great image. My dream is also to reach a state were i take 1-2 photos rather than taking 20-30 and narrowing it down to 2-3. Great Content! And the voice of Joe's is subtle reflecting that he loves what he does as he is at peace when talking.
Absolutely beautiful photos Joe and fantastic video you have such a great knowledge of photography and nature. Especially when you show the finished photos they look so natural beautiful and a sense of peace and calm you are a natural genius really enjoyed the video
the logarithms brought your video to my screen and what a delight! Perhaps it's your age being similar to mine, but I can relate to what you say and I certainly appreciate this. Your manner of speaking is poetic and concise and the combination is awesome. Thank you for this - take care and be safe out there....
Excellent advice and knowledge that is so very correct and helpful to me. I spend most time just looking for an outstanding composition and various angles of shot. I’m careful and probably just bloody fussy with my choices of Composition. Subscribed and thank you. Nifty.
Thank you. Great video. I watch a lot of landscape videos made in England. The country is so beautiful. I enjoy watching the treking in the wood lands. You've no threat of large predators. Bears, wild hogs, rattlesnakes. And where I live, alligators. Latel6 there have incidents of hikers encountering bears on the trails. Usually not agressive, but you cannot take a chance I imagine walking in the woods and no worry of animals. I've watched videos from North Carolina and I kept thinking " bears". One photographer, young lady just going up and on mountain trails and not being watchful.
That sounds terrifying Robert! We do have the odd adder, but they're so skittish that they are rarely seen by people. You should come over for a photography trip!
@@sigmauk Oh HOW I would love that,. But age can cause all kincs of issues. I lived a wild rough young life and now I suffer the abuse. No, to travel where I was born would cause a lot of people to " care". I visited England in 1988 to know my maternal grandfather before it was too late. My mother was born and raised in England, my father was stationed near Thetford, Norfolk. When went to England in " 88" I wanted to see the hospital where I was born. It was torn down decades ago. Thanks for an invite. But I'll keep with the videos and enjoy the beauty. I'm a history person and the history of England, so much of it and how so mhch of it still stands. I stood on the spot where Thomas Beckett was killed. It amazed me to think of the feet that walked over that spot. Another amazing time for me was to drink " bitters", a good name for it in a pub established in 1272. My first thought was " how much beer was poured over the centuries and the number of stsggering down the road.
Really enjoyed this mate, beautfiul location and images. Loved the way you talked us through your thought process as well. My first video of yours and I'm now subscribed 👍😊
Excellent content. I was going to ask if yu really find that gearhead essential to landscape photography versus a ballhead until you put the camera well above your eye level. I can see exactly where it would be as would be if making fine tuning adjustments at high up & low to the ground so much easier.
Hi David, thanks for the message. Joe sells prints on his website www.joecornishgallery.co.uk/unlimited-edition-joe-cornish-prints-t510#sort7. That particular one isn't here but it's worth an email to Joe to see if he can create one for you
You can apply a repellant to your skin and a more powerful one to your clothes, but realistically the only true protection is to have a loved one check you over and remove them.
AMAZING, What CAMERA are you using Sir ? SONY ? I cry to have a camera who takes clear crisp images......but I'm too poor to afford one....and I'm struggling with an old 10Mpix DSLR :( THANKS
I have a request, some of the footage looks a bit saturated than real life colors, it might be better to turn down the saturation, vibrance and such beacause for me at least is a bit overwhelming
I would be really interested to know why you changed your opinion on digital photography? From memory you were calling out digital photography and photographers as almost a stain on professional photography??? Yet here you are shooting digital?

You're right, Joe is so articulate and interesting. Thanks for watching!
Everything you said, I agree with you 100%. He's my all time favourite photographer. I highly recommend to buy his books too. They're wonderful.
@@PekkoAhlsten He is very good , but i much prefer the likes of Andy Mumford & Cath Simard. Cath Simard's photos are nothing short of mind-blowing!
He thinks much in the way I do about nature photography. Yet, I also learn something new from him.
haha the sheep love those bluebells! beautiful scenery and images. Thank you Joe for the tips!

Greatly appreciate Joe's ability to eloquently explain the photographic process and his authenticity.

Fantastic videos, really been enjoying the Joe Cornish series; he's a living legend - more please!
Very nice, thanks! That stream is so pretty with the bluebells...20 times more attractive than Sutton Bank (from the last video) to my eyes.
Have any top landscape photography tips? 📷Share them with us in the comments!

Thank you Joe Cornish for sharing a deeper understanding of the relationship of photography with life experiences.

Amazing feeling to be with him, in his photographic journey,
Enjoyed that, nice video, Joe is a legend

I like it how you explain the shot
Joe, a man after my own heart, I like you love to photograph landscape where twisted etc trees are in the image
Beautiful as always from the master
Thank you! Cheers!
What brand and how much is the camera taking pictures of you? Brother, your shots are of very good quality, I've been dreaming since I was young.🥺🥺🥺
What is the protective cover you have over your tripod head?
I think I remember Joe saying it's not an official cover - just something that happens to fit! Great idea for a product! Cheers, Tim@Sigma
@@sigmauk - Thanks, Tim! Yes, I can see how a padded lens case might work. Good idea!

I’ve learnt a lot, this is a very interesting topic. ❤
This is a masterpiece in itself.
Awesome video and commentary 👌
its the time of year we are all thinking of Spring now...
What's the make & model of the tripod? The first time I see a tripod that high. I would assume around 2m

Thanks so much! The track is called Touch of Love by Soundside
Hi Joe..... Can I ask You, Tell me please, Which one compact camera You recomend for beginner . I morre concentrate to Landscape foto and details ....
very nice video, pure motivation thank you
What tripod do you use?
This video is good for watching. I like it so much
The picture at 3.00 it's not clear what the subject is : the hyacinths or the little river.
What lens did they shoot the video on? It looks better than the photographers kit.
Conveying depth and feeling in landscape photography is hard, man. It's an art. Takes so much practice. One day. :)
Very true! It's easy to take a picture but injecting that magic into it is really tough. Thanks for watching!
Wonderful video... Just curious, which tripod Joe is using?
Wow man !)) Wery nice 😮
Quality content. Does JCB have his own channel?
great video and landscape
Thanks Matthais!
Greattt ved great effort...wat camra u use sir..plz tell us..
Hi Tipo. The guy who shot the film is a freelance film-maker, and he uses a Sony a7S III with a range of Sigma Art primes.
So beautiful ❤
May I ask, can I try this tips on my mobile phone? I don't have budget to buy camera and lens.. Btw nice video and tips. Thanks before
Wow, that’s like a painting, beautifully Mystical! DG New Forest U.K. where can I get a copy?

Can I ask a practical question? How do you protect yourself from ticks whilst in that environment.
You can apply a repellant to your skin and a more powerful one to your clothes, but realistically the only true protection is to have a loved one check you over and remove them.

In that country side you could, with talent, get good shots with a Brownie.
9:28, the trees look like to to me as if all the trees are growing upward and flourishing without restricting the others.
Can definitely recognize the superior quality in explanation, which location was this filmed?
My landscape tip is to ignore the weather forecast, as it can sometimes be inhibitory.
joe you are still the master.
wahhhhhhh......photos are so coolllllll.
he look so claim and i can feel the vibe from camera angles.
