I have loved anker for years…pretty much everything I have that I use to charge my phone and iPad while on the go is an anker product….I really fell in love with the company a year or so ago when I dropped my 13000 mah charger at work and one of the usb charging ports stopped working…I called the company and explained what happened, even telling them it was my fault and asked if there was a way that I could send it in and possibly get credit towards a new one…they said they would just replace mine for free and no need to send on the old one, and told me that I could just keep it since the other port on it still worked…anker has my business for life…everytime someone asks about charging issues I always tell them to buy anker!
My first Anker device was a car charger with QuickCharge and IQ and its still going strong after 6 years. Since then ive bought other Anker high wattage chargers and powerbanks with no regrets. Its definitely my go-to brand.
Anker has been a favorite ever since I’ve got a cable from them. Even though it failed after a few years of use it’s good quality for the money. And nice design. Will try to hunt down the new Nano but it’s hard to find.

@@insidetechltd there was a brief time about a year ago when Anker did make a powercore fusion with a UK plug, I got one for a friend as a gift. After seeing how much they loved it I wanted to get one for myself but it's no longer available now...
My first Anker Products was a 10000 mAh battery pack, dual port usb charger, which I got in 2014. That thing is still going strong. Since then almost all 3rd party chargers, cables, or battery packs I’ve gotten have been Anker. I own about 30 Anker products myself and have recommended Anker to anyone that is looking to buy chargers or cables. My most recent order is for the Anker 737 24,000 mAh hour 140W battery pack/charger and a GaNprime 65W 3 port charger, which arrive in a few days. This video got recommended randomly today, and I’m watching just for the heck of it lol Go ahead, call me an Anker fanboy, I am one.
Been using anker since way back in the day of extended phone batteries. Anker would make huge batteries for phones and include an extended back and sometimes a protective phone case. Ankers always number one in my heart
Anker makes great and high quality products and everything have works great even after years of use! I just wish they make super compact power banks like nitecore nd10000 and mini cables with 4 in one connection. Otherwise their power banks are excellent and holds charge even after 6 months. Great great product!
I have five Anker products, the 26800mAh battery bank, that came with a very nice wall wort. I also have the three panel Power Port Solar unit. Haven't had much need for it yet. Also, instead of having five wall worts plugged in all over the place, got the Anker 5 port USB charging hub. Very useful. I now have the 13000mAh compact battery bank, which I also got the clam shell case for. It will be my go to unit when I'm out bike riding and taking video. Anker makes a very good product and I'm happy with the items I have.
Does your PowerPort Solar unit actually work? I've had a couple in the past and mine never actually worked at all. Would be interesting to see how widespread this issue is since I know others have experienced it. Glad you've got a nice Anker collection too though! They make some awesome stuff 💪🏼
I got myself the FlexiSpot Desk a year ago and its great. Not just for standing but for sitting comfort aswell if you want to switch up sitting positions. I am 2,05 meters tall and it works great when i am standing. Great Video!
Honestly every anker product I’ve ever used has been really good. That includes all their Soundcore earbuds, I’ve tried like 3-4 models and they all sound really good.
I would so love it if Anker redeveloped their Thunderbolt 4 dock. I was going to buy it, but was disappointed that when I spoke to their customer service that all of the USB-A ports don't supply the usual 5V power. The CalDigit Thunderbolt 3 is still outstripping it in terms of features because of this, as well as having no DP outs. Have high hopes for future developments, though. They're always redeveloping. Happy to say the PowerExpand 7-in-1 has opened up many possibilities with the Chromecast, though! I've been an Anker fangirl for a number of years. Usually the build quality is fantastic.
That would be cool, but also the Apex dock has HDMI ports and the CallDigit dock doesn't. So it really depends on each person's setup as to which would be better!

What sold me Anker for LIFE, was their plug-n-play, detach-and-forget magnetic kickstand ring that doesn't make your phone a comically wobbly nonsense that ONLY ANKER produces. The hinge is so solid even after 18 months of 18-hour daily usage it's so fucking crazy. When anyone asks about a kickstand that DOES NOT WOBBLE their phones when placed on the table, it's ALWAYS Anker for me. Best $15 I've ever spent!
Nice, I really like that stand too. The only problem I find is getting the metal loop out - a ridge or groove would've been nice here. Often need to detach it just to pop the loop out

The built in kickstand angle is a fixed at 50 degrees. Up to 20% more power can be output by selecting the actual date and latitude optimal angle. The 500 will only input 3.5A maximum at 18 volts for 63 watts. Some of the excess power from the panel can be fed into a USB battery bank, charged directly from the panel while also charging a 500. What about Android stuff? I cant afford Apple stuff, but I have a very nice Samsung Galaxy S10e smart phone. And it will charge on a wireless pad, but will the Anker Magnetic thing work with it?
Magnetic: no. Everything else: yes! You can technically lay your S10e on the magnetic wireless charger and it will charge, but I don't recommend this at all - far better options out there (including the other wireless charging power bank in this video!)
i used to be an Aukey fanboy, but ever since Aukey Indonesia admin started being a smartpants i switched to Anker. Its annoying to ask them a question and they tell you to read the description when what i asked wasnt written in the description... Anker however answers any questions thrown at them :D
Just staying something can supply 30w isn't enough by itself ... you need to know the range of voltages it will support and how many amps it will supply at each.
I don’t cover the full tech specs because this would make the video excessively long. The information is available online - I only mention the wattage since power can be used as a relative comparison of speed (also correlates with what the industry typically uses for products like smartphones, so people can instantly see potential compatibility). This is based on the feedback I get from my audience, so it’s optimised for them and is the best way to balance being concise and informative in videos. Happy to answer specific questions you may have though!
@@insidetechltdThanks, I understand your point. I found it really difficult to find a power supply for my camera which needed 18w for charging and 27w for running from external power ... finding one that would supply 3a at 9v was made stupidly difficult by sites not specifying these figures, only watts. I wanted an Anker but noone would ship to me, found a local supplier of Aukey instead.
I think you should be pretty much safe with modern chargers/hubs anyway. They usually (especially with Anker) have a processor embedded which intelligently adjusts the power output based on the device’s needs. Overcharge protection is built-in. I hope the Aukey one works well though!
@@insidetechltd Yes, but i couldnt tell if a lot of the devices I checked out would actually make the camera function! They said how many watts, but unless they could deliver 9v at 3a then it would be a waste of money :( And most wouldn't say ... they waffle about loads of watts and supporting different phones, but are v short on tech details. Aukey and Anker seemed best at giving the full picture, so more power to them.
I don't think so. The PowerHouse needs a much bigger power source to charge it up - plus you might find that the charging direction is to charge up the smaller bank instead
Nobody will tell you how fast the bank itself will charge. My eternal complaint about anker is they only charge at 1A, even when they provide PD out (I have two of these). Does the new gen do PD both in and out?
Can you suggest a good charger for Sony WH CH510 Bluetooth headphone. In the manual it is said to use only a 500mA charger, no other specifications are said. Read somewhere if wrong charger is used battery life will get reduced.
It really doesn't make of a difference, you can pretty much use any charger safely for items like headphones. You probably already have something in your home that would work well!
@InsideTech the wall charger 65w. just for charging. Im sure it's not suitable for charging while gaming , and also about the ganprime powerbank if its good for multiple charges just wondering . thank you
I don’t see why it wouldn’t be. You’ve just got to check the power requirements for your gaming laptop. If it’s 65 W or less, it’ll be fine (though most gaming laptops require much for than this). Yes, the power bank is designed for multiple charges
i bought an anker souncore bluetooth speaker because i saw a vid that said that its battery would last a long time and booooy it did. i owned other bluetooth speakers before but this was way better. 1 charge lasted me 2 weeks
Which one? They all have some compatibility with Samsung phones as well. But the MagSafe battery pack will only attach and charge magnetically with an iPhone 12 or newer. To use that one with your Samsung phone (like all the other power banks) you’ll have to use a cable
Is the USB C to lightening cable that comes with the newer iPhones the same wire as the one that comes with AirPods Pro or higher? as in the bandwidth and the charging speeds that can pass through the cables as I have two brand new Apple cables that came from two sets of AirPods Pro’s. I tried to use on a brand new Anker 20W charger, that every reviewer and every RUclipsr claims charges 3x faster than the original 5W Apple charger and my iPhone Simply didn’t charge but stayed idle, and then used a different wire and charger to turn my iPhone on once it had died, the iPhone came on and when I plugged in the new charger and new wire, the iPhone started to lose battery percentage, from 3% to when it was turned on with old iPhone and powerbank, to 1% idle on the Apple certified new wire and new Anker 20W charger conclusion, I might return the Anker 20W charger or buy a different wire and try again please help
Yes it's the same one. If you try the cable with another charger and it works, then you know that it's the charger that's the problem and not the cable. Sounds like you could have a faulty charger
MacBooks are specifically Thunderbolt computers, not just USB-C, so that could be part of it. But also I think it's said like that to distinguish between the different operating systems (Windows and MacOS). Sometimes products only work on one, so "MacBook and USB-C laptop" is just another easy terminology to use
Not paid - I don't make paid reviews otherwise it removes my impartiality. This tech is a mix of my own things I bought and some stuff sent from Anker. I had quite a few things and then reached out to them to test out some of the newer products so I could make a guide on a wider range of products. As always my views are never influenced by any factors other than what I personally test and then feel about a product. There's no messaging here and Anker saw this video at the same time everyone else did (if they watched it, no idea!). I hope that helps 👍🏼
Yes I have heard of that, but as I said - no other factors affect my reviews. If a product is good, i'll say so. If it's bad, i'll say so. If that leads to a company no longer being willing to send things to review, so be it! The only reason i've been able to get review units sent to me, from any company, is by putting the work in building a channel with a good reputation for honest, impartial reviews. I understand that some viewers will remain skeptical, that's just part of the job. Every tech reviewer faces that. I can't let it stop me doing what I enjoy though, so i'll just continue to stand by my principles and work with my integrity and am grateful to all those who come on the journey with me!
A docking station is essentially a hub that has many ports on it, allowing you to expand the number of peripherals and devices you can connect to your computer. For example if your computer doesn’t have any HDMI ports or an SD card slot, you may want to connect it to a docking station which has those. Does that explain it?
Anker... are a bit of a rip off though. Baesus are much cheaper and tend to be better products in my opinion, with more advanced features. Like the new Anker wall chargers that have only just come out... Baesus have been doing those for ages. Powerbank... I've had a 30,000mAh baesus battery for ages and it's got 65W PD so I can run my macbook from it. It was only $40. The 65W wall charger is tiny, runs my macbook, less than half the size of the apple charger that came with my macbook, and it's got 1x USB C plus 2x USB A. Only $23. If you want older dated features at a high price, go for Anker. If you want the latest features for a good price, go Baesus.

I tried to use on a brand new Anker 20W charger, that every reviewer and every RUclipsr claims charges 3x faster than the original 5W Apple charger and my iPhone Simply didn’t charge but stayed idle, and then used a different wire and charger to turn my iPhone on once it had died, the iPhone came on and when I plugged in the new charger and new wire, the iPhone started to lose battery percentage, from 3% to when it was turned on with old iPhone and powerbank, to 1% idle on the Apple certified new wire and new Anker 20W charger
conclusion, I might return the Anker 20W charger or buy a different wire and try again
please help
Yes it's the same one. If you try the cable with another charger and it works, then you know that it's the charger that's the problem and not the cable. Sounds like you could have a faulty charger
THANK YOU
Thanks for watching!
Hi
Great video
🇬🇧
Hello, thanks a lot!
I’m sure more people are asking the same question.
How much was spent on anker for this video?😂
I don´t like Anker cables. The connection (maybe due to the internal cable chip) is not stable witch newer Samsung and Pixel phones.
It’s been fine with my Pixel 6 🤷♂️ maybe a faulty cable?
Rotterdam uttrakhand flood light 🕯️
yooo where can i get that tablee
It's in the video description, here: bit.ly/3y4AC0w
I always find it odd that people say "MacBook or USB-C laptop". Aren't MacBooks USB-C laptops?
MacBooks are specifically Thunderbolt computers, not just USB-C, so that could be part of it. But also I think it's said like that to distinguish between the different operating systems (Windows and MacOS). Sometimes products only work on one, so "MacBook and USB-C laptop" is just another easy terminology to use
The 5k magnet power bank accepts the iwatch charger
Please could you recommend a solar panel suitable for the powerhouse 400.
Dammmmm great video (sales😉😉🤣🤣)..
Haha, thank you!

Shows UK plug boi thats a tumor the hell?!?!?
That's the UK for you 🤷♂️
I have an iPad Pro 12.9 2021, I wanna buy usb-c cable of this brand, between Powerline III Flow and Powerline III+, which one you would recommend tho?
Definitely the Flow cables. Yes, they’re expensive, but they’re the best cables I’ve used yet. Durable, tangle-free and really nice quality and feel!
I use Samsung phone and watch shame it's not compatible
Most of these items are! Just not the MagSafe ones
Mentions cable management, then shows a thousand cables and extension cords on the floor....
😂
Ankers great but unfortunatley they only last a couple of years ive found
I really hope you're not actually trying to get solar power through a window
Just for the video capture 😉 although some of my solar power banks do actually charge through windows without issue
these european adapters are just huge to be considered nano 😞
I have to agree with this 👆🏼
With all the garbage quality chargers on Amazon, Anker is a brand that stands above them all.
I have to agree 🤷♂️
Need to disclose paid or not, and whether they sent these. It sounds like a marketing video.
@@insidetechltd reaching out and getting a bundle of free….. ever heard of unconscious bias? Because they certainly have.
What is a docking station?
A docking station is essentially a hub that has many ports on it, allowing you to expand the number of peripherals and devices you can connect to your computer. For example if your computer doesn’t have any HDMI ports or an SD card slot, you may want to connect it to a docking station which has those.
Does that explain it?
@@insidetechltd oh ok got it thank you for the good explanation 👍
BAT-TREE????????????????
All these products are only aimed towards Apple product and a few android lower end phones. Passsssss.....
Anker... are a bit of a rip off though.
I've always had a good experience with them personally 🤷♂️ But that's cool to know, i'll have to check them out in future!
@@insidetechltd nothing wrong with Anker... just nothing great either.
They only ship to US and so all of their plugs are US aswell so not much good for people in the UK
The New Jersey accent is tough on the ears.
I'll avoid switching to a New Jersey accent then 👍🏼
I use a charging stand because my S20 wont charge properly 🥲
