Your skin looks amazing for 59! I have inherited my mom's under eye puffiness ... (Bless her heart) ..Decided to take the 'embrace route.' I do not want to be one of those people (like many celebrities who have had botox/plastic surgery) and end up looking like a freak.. which most of them do.. It seems like every time I wake up, I find something new.. whether it's body aches, arthritis, or facial drooping.. I had considered under chin lipo, blepharoplasty, jowls.. and on and on.. at 62 my skin is not horrible.. except for under eye bags.. They are pretty bad.. and seem to be getting worse.. I've tried several eye creams, serums, cool patches.. etc..NOTHING Works! When I thought about the eye surgery.. I began to look at my face and find more and more gravity hitting it.. slowly, I thought to myself.. it's part of life.. Vanity can get the best of you if you let it.. Don't get me wrong, I love to look good (makeup does wonders) however, when will it stop?.. First eye, then jowls, under chin fat.. Like you said, there are no guarantees.. More importantly, our overall health is ultimately what really matters.. I lost my sister 2 1/2 years ago to Breast Cancer.. She needed the surgery.. At this time, I don't.. and I miss her so much, part of me has gone with her..I am still in the shock mode.. Selective surgery is no longer on my bucket list.. Counting my blessings.. and looking forward to reunited with her & my loved ones is all that matters anymore.. Back to the your demonstration on the Iceland Pads.. do you put them in the fridge for better results?

Hello. You should have a lot more subscribers...you are a natural on camera! Anyway...yes, I have struggled with undereye puffiness my entire life. Literally since I was born, I have had this problem. I have received countless comments (hundreds probably) about it throughout my lifetime and I'm 60 now. I would never do it, but I find that people have absolutely no qualms about commenting on others' looks. What is up with that? "You look tired, did you sleep last night", "did you get punched in the eye", "severe aging in the eye area" (this from a plastic surgery assistant). It has been a relentless and demoralizing problem for me and like you, it is much worse in one eye, as opposed to the other. Left eye is worse. Upper lids are okay for now. I just wanted to say that you look really great to me and I'm very pleased that there is SOMEONE out there with the same problem. Also, as you pointed out, I have tried everything short of surgery and like you, it seems to be better some days, worse other days. No rhyme or reason that I can see and I have tried every lifestyle change and product out there. New subscriber and please keep giving us this helpful content. Thanks.
I just started sing the Good Molecule patches. Since it is only a ten minute time commitment I lay down and “meditate” (contemplate…listen to music…ok…zone out..) so haven’t had the issue of them not staying in place. My initial reaction is I like the cooling affect and it seems to refresh my eyes. Now interested in comparing to the Icelandic patches after I use up the GM supply. I totally agree about surgery. Far too scary. I am a Leo on the cusp of Virgo. I have been told that’s the worst kind by a Leo client. Lol.
You look amazing. No forehead lines at all. And fabulous skin. I’m 3 years behind you at 56 and in awe of how great you look. Thank you for the video. I’ll give these a try!
You have gorgeous skin - just sayin’! 😉. How long does this impressive effect last & how often do you use these? I’d be tempted to use ‘em every day! 😀😀
Thank you so much for this video! My bags are exactly like yours. I’m 49. Have had them since my 20’s. I’ve looked into blephopasty surgery but it’s a big NO for me. Too scary and expensive. I’ve tried all tricks, lotions and positions. For many years I was distraught about them. It’s all I see when I look in the mirror. No matter how good I think I look that day, there’s the eye bags making me look tired or sick. I will say they have improved since I started my skin care routine about 4 months ago (and cut out wine). And I’ve also improved my concealer techniques. I will try these pads for special occasions if I “ever get that kind of life” like you said recently 😂. Really enjoying your channel😁
It's great you're seeing improvements from your skin care -- it will probably continue to improve! This is a quick fix that's very effective in the immediate, but long term results require consistence!
I never needed undereye concealer until I turned 40 and I’m told no fillers would help. The fat pads under the eyes slip with time and the only cure is blepharoplasty. My doctor quoted $10K but I’d get a second opinion. I hate looking tired all of the time because no concealer can hide the shadows. I’m 46 now and the left side has started looking worse than the right. 😕 I will have to give these a try because you look great!
Wow, this is great! I have the same issues with my undereyes except that the dark circles are so bad I call them "the 9th circle of hell". I've also tried lots of different patches, creams, lotions, gels, serums, etc but with no success. Will give these a try. If they are as good as you say, I will be thrilled!
The results are amazing. I'm definitely putting these on my wishlist. I have some eye patches that aren't great, but I want to finish them up before purchasing more. Excited to try these!!!
I have the same experience with the Wander Beauty Baggage Claim patches but they are just too expensive for other than special occasion. Great video. I need to check out Drmatology!
Thank you so much for this demonstration. Wow. What a dramatic result. I am going to order them. I cannot wait to try and see how the results last. Your eyes actually look bigger. I have tried everything too. I recently went to a family reunion and noticed EVERYONE had them. All 36 of my cousins and their adult children too. I used CG Eye Serum on my undereye suitcases and it completely shrank them. I had to keep checking myself in my compact because there was some flaking. It lasted me about five hours. During the ride home, the serum stopped working immediately. I literally felt my bags explode out from underneath where the serum was applied. My first thoughts were of an old cartoon from the 1960s where a very large woman's girdle failed, or a sausage bursting out of a casing. But, I felt lucky the product worked for a few hours. Unfortunately the next day, I had a rash from the serum. Oh well 🙃
@@Sufferingsassafrass I am so sorry. I was being lazy lol. Cover Girl. Have a lovely day. P.s. I had to use a lot and it took almost 20 minutes and I could actually feel it tightening.
I have loved these little patches for years :) I usually get them when there’s a sale and only ever use them for a special occasion but I have to admit they’re inexpensive compared to the more expensive brands out there like you’ve mentioned.
I have major puffiness under both of my eyes. Like under your right eye. I stumbled upon Clinique All About Eyes puffiness formula. After two weeks of use the puffiness went away. I do need to faithfully use the cream twice a day for full results. Just passing this along. Those eye patches can get expensive.
Um Lipton black tea bags are what I used in my twenties when I was working. The patches look more convenient but really make a quick cup of tea for after work (put in the fridge!) and stick the bags in the freezer for like twenty minutes, lie down with them for ten minutes and you’ll be amazed.
It's the caffeine from the tea at work. But the tea can also stain, so those with darkness may also find more darkness after using tea. So many other ways to get caffeine under the eyes without that risk - the Ordinary has an undereye gel with caffeine that per dose, could be less expensive than tea!
I love eye patches for extra puffy days and will give these a try. I do like 111skin black ones and they seem to give me a good result in smoothing and de-puffing. Would definitely be interested in a video about the blue balls 😅Thanks for another great video and I agree about the surgery I think often people who don't do tweaks look better, imperfections and all 😊
If you want to know the deep root cause as to why (besides lack of sleep) you have puffy or dark circles under the eyes, there's a video called "18 Things Your Face Can Tell You about Deep Health Problems" by Dr. Berg. I'm +50 and going through menopause but I no longer have puffy nor dark circles because I changed the way I eat. It's not for everyone but it's nice that my makeup routine and my skincare routine is a lot less maintenance
I did Keto for two years and have seen many of his videos. You know he's not a medical doctor and often talks about things with authority that he doesn't actually have. The truth is many people just have puffy under eyes and it doesn't have anything to do with the diet or lifestyle, as I said in the video. Shaming people is NOT my deal. Telling people that they're at fault for something that ails them is not my deal. People who have puffiness from time to time certainly should look into behaviors and pinpoint the what causes puffy under eyes once in a while, of course.
@@TheHoodedLid sorry, was just trying to be helpful. It's really good information and we all take info with a grain of salt. But I'm 50+ and it really helped my eyes. I get told I look like im 30's and I get flirted with all the time with men in their 30's. I no longer have arthritis, my hair is thicker, I am at my high school weight, I feel energetic... everyone that follows his advice gets healthier so the proof is in the pudding. It's not for everyone, but it does change your health in the most positive ways. There are other doctors that agree with him like Dr. Berry, Dr. Jason Fung (both MD's.). Finding the root cause of any issue is a good thing. We can't cover up with bandaids forever
There’s a video on here from a famous plastic surgeon and they did MRIs of people who had filler under their eyes and that stuff migrates. And eventually the eyes become MORE puffy. One woman had to get the dissolver needle stuck actually behind her eyeball because THAT’S WHERE THE FILLER WAS.
Wow! Filler scares me anyway and someone else told me that a Dr. said it is actually bad for your skin (the deeper layers of the skin). I don't think I'd ever do filler.
You are so lovely and straightforward It takes great personal courage and grace to bare one’s self as you have done Thank you K 💞L xxx Jan 10th 2024 Rancho Mirage Ca
Beauty standards are getting more and more insanely out of touch with reality. I'll be 30 next year and I appreciate your example of working to enhance what you've already got.
My sister had surgery and it was a great thing for her. For me? I’m scared of anything around my eyes. Needles, botox, filler, surgery, even retinol eye creams scare me. I don’t care for the slimy patches 🐌 or blue balls. 😂 To each her own… Being a chicken I’ll just live with my saggy hooded lids. I wondered if you were opposed to these things yourself and why, so this explains a lot. Thanks for sharing.
I see a difference! Totally agree with u how scary surgery of any kind is( unless it's medically neccessary). George Stephanopoulos' wife Ali Wentworth had under eyes done and was very open to discussing on t.v. She looks good- but still always looking for non invasive treatments.
I have also seen that Peter Thomas Roth eye cream that shrinks all the bags under your eyes but I'm a little bit scared of it because I have very sensitive eyes
I grabbed a package of those eye masks about 2 months ago and forgot that I had them. I went and dug them out of my cabinet and plan to use after my shower in a couple of hours. I’m hopeful.
You look great! When you said your age, it kinda shocked me cause you look much younger than your age. I am starting to get puffiness and I'm 45. Fun! Lol! Thanks for the video!
Thank you! I think it's often genetics, but this is a short term solution for those days when you need a little more help than usual or if you have a special dinner/event/holiday!
I purchased the eye mask and they are fantastic! I would love to see you do a video on the ice Globes as well as I have those myself and I'm going to use them every once in awhile over those eye masks to see if it is even more of a result. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos
I think that you're an excellent presenter and are far more enjoyable to watch than many other product reviewers. I am very fond of Iceland and when I saw this product I was eager to watch, thinking that the product was actually related to Iceland in some way. Alas it isn't. It's a US company and the ingredients are not sourced from Iceland. Another misleading product from the cosmetic world. LIke many other women, I always have one eye open for some new magical beauty product that will return our former youthful look, but I have come to accept that the beauty industry is just that - an industry that is worth billions of dollars and will stop at nothing to continue to make money from us. Putting on cosmetics to 'moisturise' skin, simply clogs the pores with waxy substances so that the natural moisture in your skin can't escape through the pores as it is supposed to. In fact my puffy eyes are even puffier after I use a moisturizer. Collagen products are the biggest joke, since the skin cannot absorb Collagen topically, yet millions continue to buy these products. The only product that I have found to actually work is hyularonic acid. I applied it to rehydrate a burn and it worked very well right before my eyes, but it is all temporary, just like everything else in nature. As you said, the only 'permanent' fix is surgery and even that doesn't stop the aging process. After doing research I have found that the best way to help aging skin is to ingest the ingredients that are depeleted in your body as a regular part of your diet. As you age you lose collagen which is what makes your skin elasticised and this is why your skin sags and goes crepey as you age. I try to drink enough water, to combat my dehydration and I make my own collagen supplements, which has helped my skin more than any cosmetic product. My knees no longer hurt as much and my nails and hair are growing at an alarming rate - it's almost irritating now that I have to cut them so often. I do have a professional ultrasound RF cavitation machine, which was effective when I used it, but it's like many 'home' remedies - may of us aren't dilligent enough to keep using them and it's far more enjoyable to go to a spa for these treatements, which is cost prohibitive for many. I think ultimately it is as you say at the beginning of your video - how we age is often hereditary. You are a beautiful woman and look much younger than your age, your videos give a lot of encouragement to women who are feeling poorly about the way they are aging. It is sad that many of us feel this way, but we need to put more emphasis on who we are, what we do and how we treat people. It's the beauty industry that has made women obsessed about looks, but ultimately the way we look shouldn't matter, instead of spending our precious final decades worrying about our sagging skin, we should be out there spending our time helping those who need help, giving all the money we spend on cosmetics to those who desperately need money and being less self-obsessed and more obsessed about helping others.
Thank you! I've tried MANY products, but will add this to my list. The Ordinary caffeine solution works great for me - the trick is getting just the right amount of product. Too little and I don't get a big result, too much and I get a weird film. At around $5 it's definitely one of the cheaper options.
I would be interested to know how long the effect lasts. Perhaps you can do an update. My guess it lasts a day. How many times can the patches be used?

OMG! I was Yes, Yes, Yes, Exactly! Then you said "I'm a Virgo." and I was like ME TOO!💡 I have puffiness under my eyes as well (hereditary) and as I get older they bother me more and more. I turn 40 in September and I am truly bothered by my puffiness but... Surgery on my face TRULY scares me.
I’m late to this conversation, but do you follow Alexandria Anele? She has extreme dark circles, similar to my own, and she had hyaluronic acid filler around her eyes. It turned out horribly for her, and she was very upset, understandably. It was painful and she broke out in bumps around her eye area. I had considered getting filler there before I saw her video. I felt saved! The eye area is so sensitive. I just don’t think it’s worth the risk. Also, I think you’re beautiful and watching your videos makes me less afraid to age. I’m glad you’re not going to do anything 😊
It might...but it doesn't feel like it is. I get that tightening feeling or the feeling that it's becoming uncomfortable and I want to/have to take it off. But there's something about this patch that works when others don't...
Thank you! I have puffy, hooded eyes. My eyelids are worse than my undereyes. I wonder if these work on upper eyelids? I would love to find something that works for me.
Can you use the blue balls over the eye patches as you're waiting for the eye patches to set for 10 minutes? I would think since the blue balls are for you puffing too that it would be a double whammy, your thoughts?
Great video. I finally started a skincare regimen. At 65. My Face ID improving, but my eyelids have gotten scary! Wrinkly, crinkly dry, crows feet etc. I wondering which product or products are effecting my eyelids? Any suggestions? I am in shock. Thinking of scraping all my skincare products. And starting over with just good cleanser, moisturizer, and my mineral spf. I would love any suggestions!
Eyelids are really tough...you might want to start using a retinol products. Ease into it and once you have that going without issues on a daily basis, think about working Retin-A into your program. I wouldn't start on a daily basis...maybe just 2x a week and very gradually go to 3x a week, then 4x etc.
@@TheHoodedLid thanks for responding. I’m going back to basics until I figure out the culprit. I obviously over did the new products I added in my regimen. Lesson learned. Will re enter the skin care arena slower this time. Thanks so much. Appreciate your response.
What a difference - the patches worked so well! I have been struggling with dehydration around my crepy, saggy, wrinkly eyes. I currently use Medik 8 Vit C eye oil serum, then Hado Labo eye cream and then my Elta MD tinted physical SPF. Guess what - that combo pills! Do your eye creams work well with your SPF and if so, which SPF do you use? Whatever it is, I do hope it's available in the UK?!! I'm so cheesed off that my serum/cream don't play nicely with the ELta MD - it is such a nice SPF in terms of no irritation but if I were to use the SPF on it's own it is too drying around my eyes. I have to use physical sunscreen as my eyes are prone to eczema and soreness and irritation. Any ideas would be most welcomed. Great video and will look up the patches although it sounds like they are prob out of my budget :) it is still something that would be great for special occasions :)
I would guess it's oil that causing the problem. You might want to try first using less that you currently apply and see if that helps - also consider giving it 10 minutes to sink in before going on with the Hado Labo and sunscreen. Good luck!
Do you know what the difference is between SKYN ICELAND Dissolving Microneedle Eye Patches With Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides & their hydro cool firming eye gel?
I'm guessing the idea is the the "microneedle" elements is supposed to allow for deeper penetration of actives. I haven't tried those yet - but I might. I'm not so sure if they tackle puffiness - sounds like it may be more about hydration.
I thought the wider end of the patches were to be placed on the outside of your under eyes so that the area of crows feet would be covered more. Have you tried them that way?
Also, it’s a very personal decision about wgat looks good on you but if I were you I would have no major surgery done on my face. You are a very beautiful woman. I mean just scroll through your own thumbnails. I think it looks truly weird when people have facelifts (although I’ve read that there are some very very special facelifts out there and Diane Sawyer had one.) Look at Christie Brinkley lately. She has looked incredible until fairly recently but a recent facelift made her chin totally taught and I think it looks really “off” since you can see other things that don’t match it, if you know what I mean. You can see this on Sandy Lintner a famous makeup artist who happens to work with Christy Brinkley.
Oh my gosh! I bought a package during the last Ulta sale put them in my fridge and totally forgot about them! You better believe I am pulling them out tomorrow! ❤️

I actually used this years ago!
Got to try these!
Hope they work for you!
I got these patches through your link. So refreshing. Great recommendations!
I love eye patches for extra puffy days and will give these a try. I do like 111skin black ones and they seem to give me a good result in smoothing and de-puffing. Would definitely be interested in a video about the blue balls 😅Thanks for another great video and I agree about the surgery I think often people who don't do tweaks look better, imperfections and all 😊
I'll look into the 111 skin!
You are so lovely and straightforward
It takes great personal courage and grace to bare one’s self as you have done
Thank you K

Beauty standards are getting more and more insanely out of touch with reality. I'll be 30 next year and I appreciate your example of working to enhance what you've already got.
Thank you so much, Rachel! Yes, the land of filters (insta is pretty crazy) can really do a number on us all.
Love your personality! 💋 Could you please make a dedicated video about yourself! Your life
I will try this! Thank you for the video.
Hope you like it!
Thank you for your honesty, and in sharing what works for you in your battle against puffy eyes. And Skyn is available in the UK...☺
Yay - I hope you are able to try it and that it works for you!
I'm a natural born worrier! Plus $$$.
Hope it worked out for you!
That was amazing ! You Can See the Improvement. So happy for you
Thanks so much! 😊
I've been looking for something to help with my puffy undereyes, so will give this a go. Thank you for sharing your experiences of them.
Glad it was helpful!
I purchased the eye mask and they are fantastic! I would love to see you do a video on the ice Globes as well as I have those myself and I'm going to use them every once in awhile over those eye masks to see if it is even more of a result. Looking forward to seeing more of your videos
A jade roller works well over those eye masks as well!
Thanks so much for sharing your results with this product!
You are so welcome!
I've tried that product! I find it didn't work for me - yes, it's fussy!
I would be interested to know how long the effect lasts. Perhaps you can do an update. My guess it lasts a day. How many times can the patches be used?
Pretty much all day. Really, just once, but I'll wear them again the next day - the effect is not as good, though
I love your videos - always very honest reviews and your voice is so soothing! Can I ask how long the Skyn depuffing effect lasts please?
Probably all day. Once the puffiness is gone, unless I eat salt or take a nap, I feel like I'm covered!
hi lovely, was really looking forward to seeing the before and after pics.... but i get the jist
So sorry - I thought I had covered it by moving in really close! Next time I I will - maybe I'll post on my community page!

This is Wonderfull! can I ask you how long does it last? Thank you!
Seems to last most of the day. Then I go to sleep and I'm puffy again for sure!
OMG! I was Yes, Yes, Yes, Exactly! Then you said "I'm a Virgo." and I was like ME TOO!💡
I have puffiness under my eyes as well (hereditary) and as I get older they bother me more and more. I turn 40 in September and I am truly bothered by my puffiness but... Surgery on my face TRULY scares me.
Try these - you may like them!
Wow wow wow thank you!
You are so welcome
You have a nice voice for these videos.
Thank you kindly!
Yes, I do watch her, but not all her videos! This is a great example of why it scares me to do anything under the eyes!
These often are on sale for the Ulta 21 days of Beauty sale!!
I know! It's coming up soon, too!
You are 59 holy you look young ❗️❤️🇨🇦
That's VERY kind of you!
Do you think that the fibre pad *also contracts as it dries* to press gently?
It might...but it doesn't feel like it is. I get that tightening feeling or the feeling that it's becoming uncomfortable and I want to/have to take it off. But there's something about this patch that works when others don't...
Thank you! I have puffy, hooded eyes. My eyelids are worse than my undereyes. I wonder if these work on upper eyelids? I would love to find something that works for me.
Not that much, but I have taken them off my under eyes after 10-15min and slapped them on my eyelids!
Can you use the blue balls over the eye patches as you're waiting for the eye patches to set for 10 minutes? I would think since the blue balls are for you puffing too that it would be a double whammy, your thoughts?
Yes!!!! I've also used a jade roller over these!
Good luck!
@@TheHoodedLid Thanks! What SPF do you use BTW?
Keep them refrigerated and put the small part close to the tear duct.
No reason to, these are cooling under the eye - it's so amazing
Do you know what the difference is between SKYN ICELAND
Dissolving Microneedle Eye Patches With Hyaluronic Acid and Peptides & their hydro cool firming eye gel?
I'm guessing the idea is the the "microneedle" elements is supposed to allow for deeper penetration of actives. I haven't tried those yet - but I might. I'm not so sure if they tackle puffiness - sounds like it may be more about hydration.
I have the same issues, just as you described.
I thought the wider end of the patches were to be placed on the outside of your under eyes so that the area of crows feet would be covered more. Have you tried them that way?
For the size of my under eyes, this completely covers my eye bags. The other around wouldn't have the same effect.
❤️
Thank you Susan! I don't have the money do to anything - just dreaming..but I appreciate your kind words.
You are gorgeous, but I do not see a difference - sorry!
