Fun fact: me and a friend tested this in a real pc, and got internet working, tried the predeployed chrome, and it worked! EDIT: i think it worked due to it being able to reach out to googles servers and say "yo can we send this chrome version to this pc"
It's a full desktop running from a cd/dvd. Take a WinPE as a example. Or take a Linux installer as a example. Those have a m-live desktop sometimes to try it. This is the same.
An live iso is an live environment that you can boot from removal media such as an usb, cd or dvd. You can compare this to the windows installer or an graphical linux installer, which is an live environment that you booted from your media. In this case, our live environment is a full desktop.

They should try 2GB RAM and add recovery apps and then add ethernet drivers like hirens boot cd. perfect for oldies who are too old for windows 8+
