Greetings! Malta use to be so much better back when they filmed the movie Gladiator there but since then it has gone down hill. In fact I recently watched a RUclips video on how dirty it has become. Unfortunately this is due to bad government. I love the Terrace to relax before the flight. I think you flew right past my Grandfathers home of Calabria Italy . The snow mountains were beautiful. You should have asked the Flight Attendant for that cup and plate that you said you liked! I often gave away dishes when passengers asked as a souvenir for them. Well, once again a great honest review and I always enjoy and look forward to a new video from you. Thank you for all the work and time you put into them and sharing with the world. God Bless ……Brian
I wish I had thought of asking for the cup, would have been an excellent souvenir and soon become a collectible. Well, too late now;-) Thanks for the nice comment:))
I was thinking how difficult the working conditions must be for those who work for Air Malta, knowing that the end is near. Hopefully, they will have an opportunity for employment with the new airline. That was a very picturesque flight. I would have just stared out of the window for most o the flight.
As far as I know, the new airline is taking over the same aircraft, which means they’ll need a crew trained on these. I‘d say it’s a low hanging fruit to take over the current crew that already knows the equipment. But of course it’s a guess, as not everyone might accept the new contract and conditions.
Air Malta lives on to the 30th March, to be born again as KM Air Malta from the 31st March - if I read it correctly because of a fairly pointless European Commission ruling. Lets hope the Maltese government don't have to keep pumping money into the airline, or the airline name will keep changing.
I think it’s not just the airline name changing, the announcement is about a whole new airline, and I guess that’s why tickets are no longer valid after 30 March, and even their frequent flyer program will shut down. But like you said, hopefully it’s going to be a success, and I hope it’s not another LCC. Time will tell.
@@forgotmypassport Yes the controlling company changes, but I still read it as a work around by the Maltese government. I'm biased of course because I don't like the EU mafia. 😂

It's very sad knowing the first airline in Malta is gone forever it's what people call the end of an era
Sad day😢
Now air malta is changed to KM malta airlines
I‘ll fly with them in December :)

We‘ll see;-) If it’s a former Alitalia style scheme, then things won’t go far 😆
