- The LG C9 OLED 4K HDR TV is here and while it's the second most affordable LG OLED, the C9 delivers the same picture processing as the top of the line Wallpaper OLED. Improved for this year, the C9 OLED sports a more stable and slim stand, full spec HDMI 2.1 and AI picture processing. Top that off with WISA speaker compatibility and the 2019 LG C9 OLED is leading the pack for best TV of 2019.

What OLED 4K TV are you liking the most?
C8 vs c9 which one is better? What are the differences between them ?
My LG B7 at the moment lol. I have dreams of LG E9 being in my life. Especially because I'm a gamer, for the lower input lag, vrr, and 4K 120 FPS. However I'm currently paying off a NVIDIA Zotac 1080 Ti GPU, then a PC upgrade is needed. But I'm really craving this TV because I'm a BIG gamer on my TV. My B7 looks great on my TV at locked 60FPS and I've played games at 1080P at 120FPS and my B7 is amazing in 120HZ mode. I imagine the upscaling and motion are finally better with SD standard definition material than my B7.
Sony A9G Panasonic GZ2000 and Philips 804
I love my 65oled803 with ambilight it will looks even bigger. Great picture quallity, and most important great motion handling. Only downside the imput lag is 37ms. But my xbox one x looks great on it.
Was thinking about the sonos beam to go with this but as you said no room at front of tv which is annoying. C8 might be a better bet & cheaper now ;)
YES!!! HDMI 2.1 is exactly what i’ve been waiting for! can’t wait to finally pick up an OLED this time around.
Ive been a QLED guy but OLED looking sorta cool as well
@SKEKMAL Its about what people about to own in a few months ps5 series X..HDMI 2.1
@SKEKMAL Your keep forgetting XBOX series x and PS5 will utilize 4k/120hz which is HDMI 2.1 .. Its not about now its about what's about to happen within 3 months
@SKEKMAL
series X will be doing more 120/4k then you think and thats one game lol and again your worried about now which lol if thats the case everyone should stop buying HDMI 2.1 tvs since today nothing out..But few months that will change quickly
Still in love with my B7, I’ve owned it for a few years now and I’m still blown away by the picture quality. Playing last of us remastered in HDR was one of the most amazing game experiences I’ve ever had.
yeah I have the b7 too and it does look really good but I think I might get the c9 lol when it goes on sale the only thing I dont like about the b7 is game mode hdr looks pretty dim in some games.
@0nlyusemeblade yes! its still going strong, no burn-in or any other issue for that matter. I take good care of my TV tho, I don't use cable so that helps a lot, I basically only use it when I'm watching apple tv or playing video games off of my PC. The HDR on this thing is still amazing however I only use this TV at night. if you plan on watching content during daylight and don't have blackout its not that great.
Me too boys, have a B7 55" and still looks amazing
Just got a C8 and everytime i turn it on i am just in awe. Simply AMAZING! It brings whatever your watching right into your front room as if you are actually there. Cant say enough how amazing it is.
Hey mate... I got LG OLEG C8... same here... I can't stop loving it since last 2 months and everything I sit I'm falling in love with it.....
How's the gaming?
Wait after 4-5K hours of use. You will probably change your mind. lol
I've just bought this tv based on your video's which I've found to be really good to watch, I've not come across your channel before but you've got yourself another subscriber.
Can the LG C9 handle the biggest test of any new 4K TV? Being able to see more than 60% of season 8 episode 3 of Game of Thrones?
Hahah! We just wrote about that and what happened! www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/game-of-thrones-long-night-season-8-picture-quality-issues/
Sitting in a dark room ready with popcorn waiting to watch this episode on my LG E7 65 , ane suddenly Im thinking whats the matter with my TV.
Ep 3 sucked major ass. I was highly disappointed in the non epic battle of night king. Winter never came.
David Nikon sucked on my E6 too. I’m getting this C9 for sure though
Make sure your using the HBO Go app or HBO Now app to get the best quality GOT Content
Best review guy!! Simple and straight to the point! 💪🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Watching this over a year after I bought this TV makes me feel less bad about not having the C10. C9 is still an excellent TV!
we already know OLED looks good, where is the video where you use the xbox x, 2.1 hdmi with a pc with a high end card, blue ray movies netflix 4k dolby vison, HDR gaiming etc etc
Exactly
@Freeze Peach Lmao... They're excellent for gaming, tf you talking about?
@Freeze Peach Nonsense dude. They are damn good for gaming.
@Freeze Peach I'll let you know at the end of the month....when I pick my 65in LG C9 up😂
Top Dog Did you ever get burn in?
I've had this T.V. for about 6 months now and still love it. I had the Sony for a month and returned it to get the L.G. I like the picture better especially when watching Dolby Vision, and the menus are far better than the Sony. I had the LG 65" Oled for two years and wanted to move up to this 77", so when I got the Sony, I was ready for it to be better, but it wasn't so I switched it out for the L.G. and so glad I went to the trouble to do that because this TV is much better for me. To each his own, I like this one best.
I'm liking how OLEDs are now maturing. Looks good. Appreciate the video.
I am hoping that one day, they will be able to provide what the lost technology of Plasma could offer. Sad when you learn of how many superior technologies we dropped over the years and how much that actually impaired our progress. Rarely do these techs ever make a comeback.
@Leopold Same, but these new OLEDs are looking real promising.
not so funny stuck pixel every week or more often
I just got my lg c9 with 3 year warranty the buyer insist me to buy qled not oled because of burning
@@nassermohd2317 what?
I think the C9 is finally the TV that's going to push my Panasonic VT60 plasma to the bedroom. Will likely save up and wait for Black Friday deals (hopefully). Love everything about the TV, thanks for the review!
Replacing our still excellent 60" Panasonic plasma with the 77 c9 tomorrow. We just couldn't resist.
I just returned my 65SM9000PUA Nano TV for a OLED65C9PUA. The main reason was the SM9000’s blooming in dark scenes along with the dirty screen effect with silhouetted corners and no deep pure blacks. The OLED65C9 is nothing short of awesome.
I couldn’t stand paying $1400 for a TV I was NOT impressed with - so I paid a little more for the OLEDC9 that is an awesome TV.
Mine just came last night. I'm so hyped.
I'm 16 years old and I've been saving up for an lg c9 for a while now, I want yo buy this tv knowing when im in my appartment down the road I'll still be able to use this tv and it look great. Hearing you say that you can expect 5-7 years of use out of this tv really cleans up my decision and I'm very thankful that I've finally found an estimated lifespan. I use my tvs very mixed so im not too worried about burn in, more or less the lifespan. thankyou for that clearifying factor that i havent heard from any reviewers. (sorry for bad grammar I turn off autocorrect)
Thanks for vid and showing the new improvements to the web OS. interested in the c9 vs c8 vs sony oled vid
Buy the c9. I just got mine yesterday and finally dialed in the picture settings. Its beautiful.
Dont follow anyones online guide for picture settings. After following 3 different peoples settings i found online, i found i liked none of them lol. Maybe i dont know what im doing but i liked my own settings
David Seo I’ve heard motion isn’t very good so for instance watching Netflix or Prime with the camera panning left to right there is stuttering of the picture. Have you noticed anything like this? Also how do games look?
@@lukeoverthere1364 i honestly notice that with every 4k tv ive had, both samsung and lg. I just change the smoothing setting
"The return rate for 3-5 y/o OLED tvs are very low." HUH? Are you allowed to do a warranty claim for BURN-IN on a 5 y/o TV in the US? How is that relevant discussion?
Very unlikely to get burn in on this particular LG. Rtings did 5000 hour test on this model and burn in will only occur if you leave it on the same channel and run it 20 hours per day for 2 years.
I just bought this TV yesterday and get it delivered in 2 days. I CANT WAIT to get it and start using it. It’s replacing a 12 year old 46" samsung LCD.
I think this video was one of the most helpful I've seen in terms of making a decision on what I should buy. Thank you
Are you going to go for this one? I'm still not sure for definite if I'm gonna by this yet
Harrison Metcalf I bought one about a year ago and watched this video before purchasing. I don’t regret my decision I really like it. PS4 Pro 4K games look insanely great.
Absolutely amazing TV. The colors, contrast, and amount of details on the screen are simply breathtaking. Earlier I had lg b7 and although the image in it was also sensational, I have to say that the C9 is better in every respect. First of all, the C9 does much better with the hdr picture - great hdr tone mapping. Gears 5 or AC Origins / Odyssey is a real feast on this tv - seriously, these games have never looked better! I recommend this TV to all those who like to enjoy a beautiful picture in movies or games - you will not be disappointed. :)
I’ve just ordered this tv (65”) after doing some research, watching your review and comparisons to the Sony etc. Thank you 👍
I did the same thing getting it in 3 weeks, cant wait to watch movie on it !
@@killerkt9 how do you guys like the c9?
How are you looking the c9, is the hdr peak brightness good enuff?
@@jrbrawlersgaming1816 is gonna be amzeing! The dynamic tone maping is excellent on the c9
@@killerkt9 so what does that do? Does it help boost hdr highlights while maintaining contrast.
Have the LG OLED E6 (2016) with no burn in at all. Play Xbox one X and PC gaming with no issues. 3 years and no issues. Only regret is not being patient. Bought it for 4 thousand dollars and it dropped to 2400 that same year on black Fri smh.
Archie Ray same here. I have the B6 though and had it for 3 years also and do long gaming sessions and I have the Xbox One X and a PS4 Pro. I don’t use it for PC though.
I wonder if you are going to do a B9 review anytime? I'd love to hear how it compares to the C9.
I’ve had one for about a year and I love it. Probably best TV I’ve ever bought. Gaming looks insane and blu ray is as crazy. So good it burns my eyeballs if I use it for more than 2 hours.
Which home theater speaker do u recommend with this tv? I mean the best and impressive. thanks
I already have this TV yet I keep coming back to watch this review
Is there a less chance of burnin with the C-9 compared with the older models ?
The C9 is noticeably better picture quality than the C8. I respectfully disagree that it is only a ‘subtle difference’. I had purchased an open box 65” C8. But was able to get a good deal on a C9, so I went with it instead. And I can tell you from first-hand knowledge in home that the C9 is visibly better image quality. Noticeably more clear, vibrant, more detailed and colours pop more. So for those who can make the jump, GET THE C9! It won HDTV Test shootout over the Sony A9G, and even Panasonic GZ200. The C8 never came close in last year’s shootout...so that says a lot! The C9 is simply phenomenal!
I bought this tv a few weeks ago. It’s Amazing! Only complaints are that the gallery is complicated to setup as screensaver, and when you lay the remote down horizontally a mini menu comes up which interferes with gaming
Sounds like you, along with many others, would love to be able to disable the motion-control portion of the Magic Motion Remote.
what about burn in for oled
Divyesh Talavdekar almost at 1 year use and no burn in yet
problem is, by the time 99.99% of people can actually use 2.1, there'll be new OLEDs with improvements that while incremental will cumulatively amount to something, for the time being C8 or even C7 offers pretty much the same PQ and brightness. Hopefully by 2020 OLEDs finally exceed 1.000 nits, they've been hovering around 700-800 for 3 years now.
I bought my lg 3d 240hz tv in 2011 and still a fantastic tv. Once I buy this one it will move to my bedroom to live out the rest of its life
IM DOING EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE DOING WHAT R THE CHANCES!!!!!!!!!!!!! The Lg 3d tv lasted me very long and is really good and is still working to this day
LG 55lm7600?
Great review. This tv looks leaps and bounds ahead of my 2016 LG OLED, which speaks volumes to LG’s innovation. EArc looks amazing and would benefit my home theater system and deep learning would definitely improve the picture quality.
And it’s not easy for me to say that, I’m still a little salty about LG not updating the firmware from the 2016 line up to enable Dolby Vision input for my Xbox One X.
But I also don’t have any burn in from my 2016 model so it’s held up pretty solid for over 3 years. And I’ve always LOVED how my LG tv makes regular 1080P television look far and beyond better than anything else I’ve ever owned (and I have an 88” Samsung UHD FAL Display and an older super-high refresh rate Sony TV which still holds up extremely well with 1080P). To be honest I don’t push my LG as far or as long, being that it’s my living room tv and I’m also cognizant that it could develop burn in over time.
Allthingsconsidered I do want this new tv buuut I’m hesitant to upgrade, mainly due to cost/benefit over my current LG OLED. The one I’ve got still works just fine (minus the lack of Dolby Vision input)
Pick up a C9 today! Live the life you imagined!
Amazing picture quality. Sad that I'm super paranoid about burn in...
Still waiting for microled to take over the TV industry :c
Burn in is real,I don't know how mine got burn in and sadly it was out of warrant, just be careful with it.
The microLED won't be ready for commercial release anytime soon , even if it is it will come with an insanely high price tag .
@@martin86chitembo79 no problem here , I have 2 C7 both clocked at 1000 + hours . I watched a lot of stuff on my C8 recently and reach 2000 hours , no burn ins , I played some games too although it isn't always the same game . All 3 tvs have also been calibrated and running test patterns , no burn ins as well .
dont buy oled Qled is better lol
lol
I absolutely love my c9 55 which came Saturday. What shocked me the most is the upscaling. And how much better normal 1080 stuff looks like. Feel like watching all my blu rays again. Very happy. Previous TV was a Sony bravia Kd55xe9005 which I hated.
KEF speakers look really nice.
Impressed upon to see features of the product and the way these are explained. Thank you!
Thank you for posting this. You sold me.
LG C9 is currently king in terms of price and performance! I have been using the C9 for almost half a year and I have ZERO complaints. However, the icing on the cake would be a native Google Photo app in the LG Content Store that will allow people to showcase their TVs in all its glory with their personal photos and videos!
what happens to the burn in i have a new oled and i had to replace the panel. So did they fix that issue with this new tv
i just got this TV as 4th of July sale and this review was a key part of making the purchase so TY
Do you still like the tv?
Funny how people are still complaining about burn-in in 2019. SMH.
That's probably because burn-in is still happening on 2019.
My C7 got burned hard in 19 months and LG replaced it wit a C9!!! This is AWESOME customer experience.
i thought burn in was excluded from the warranty on these sets. So that may explain the low return rate for that reason?
Your right, LG now has disclaimer when you buy an oled there is a risk of burn in and its covered by there warranty or any other warranty like best buy etc. They still haven't addressed the ABL issue, they will never tell you that it's a organic technology and the pixels will fail over time ,think I'm a troll? Google it.
Ridiculous that it's not covered for that. A big no no for me
@@chadbrick67 my best buy warranty must be special then
@@savage7ecneek437 From what I've read, it is. Best Buy apparently has coverage available for burn-in. That's where I plan to buy it for precisely that reason.
@@AKSBSU You are correct. My friend has already suffered burn in from this very TV and has the burn in warranty coverage. I tell her that she doesn't need to game 10 hours a day on average because she will continue to get burn in and she just smugly replies with "That's what the warranty is for".
I bought this TV as an upgrade to my 2006 Phillips HDTV that I bought when I was just 16. It was $1700 at the time and still works but damn how that thing has aged poorly since I bought it. Huge bezels and weighs a ton. The LG C9 blows my mind with how much of an improvement it is. Hopefully it’ll last me 10+ years like the Phillips until I upgrade to 8k 😁
I want to buy it now haha, can you tell me the performance now?

Great review. You are professional, friendly, knowledgable, and well-spoken.
I'm not too keen on his hair style.
Does the c9 is better at handling burn in than older oleds?
i had my B6V for exactly 3 years and had no burn in. just letting you know.
Purchased an LG OLED last year and the panel went out just after a year (the warranty is only one year). Needless to say, it was almost more expensive to replace the panel than buy a new TV. AMAZING picture but if you buy one I would highly recommend an extended warranty.
I wish manufactures would make more affordable "dumb" versions of these TV's (display only). I'll likely never use the "Smart TV" features (leave that to Apple, Amazon and others) or the built-in sound. I hate that I have to pay for their failed attempt to integrate these features into otherwise excellent displays.
Yes, not enough choice. I'm sure there would be a market for your suggestion, too
Actually the smart tv features really doesn't drive up the cost as much. It's the fact that ever oled panel regardless of brand is produced by LG. Which has a complete monopoly on manufacturing yields which why your paying for the high costs. Monopolies are bad because they are very anti -consumer often create little to no innovations which causes prices to stagnate do to them wanting to charge higher.
Thanks for the excellent review. How would you rate the HDR performance of the C9 compared to C8, when watching in a dark room? Does it really show brighter specular highlights, or does that advanced tonemapping only have impact on PQ when the room is bright? Thanks in advance.
Hi, is it worth it to purchase an extended warranty in your opinion? TIA
With time on the display is it living up to your expectations? Is it still worth it in your opinion?
Better A9g or C9? Only concerned about picture quality nothing else
GodsDuality A9G is the king of picture. C9 is more friendly towards gamers. But if picture quality is your only Sony is the way to go.
@@Justin-ro8nf
Well I love sony. I have the 900e, but it will be mainly for gaming. Want new TV for when PS5 comes out. And is there still concern for burn in on oleds as it pertains to gaming and having a constant HUD on the screen?
GodsDuality honestly dude, I’ve been gaming on my OLED for few weeks to months now and I have not gotten any burn in at all. I play like 2 - 3 hours everyday other day. I put it game mode and it’s honestly good to go. I def was scared about gaming on a OLED to when I first got it and I was aware what I was getting myself into a year before I was gonna buy it. But honestly I got the warranty if anything does happen I’ll be set. But honestly man, the C9 OLED and Sony A9G won’t disappoint you at all. (Coming from a A8G and X900F owner). I would say do it man. If you feel you want an OLED I say get it.
@@Justin-ro8nf thanks for the info. So u went with Sony? I think I will too. They ate great, but is like a grand more than LG. Plus I find it weird a company who also makes a gaming system doesn't put HDMI 2.1 in, like LG did, and also LG has better refresh rate. That's the confusing thing. But I know sony has better processor and I love my Sony currently. Thanks again for the tips
GodsDuality yeah man it hear ya, I have a ps4 and game on my a8g... I mean ... honestly, it just depends what’s more important you :/ ... if Picture is literally the only thing you care about it. The A9G Sony is King with Out question. Yes they are both LG panels but Sony created the first OLED monitor ever in the market, Sony did it first. If gaming is more important to you than picture quality and motion processing that Sony has then go LG. It all depends on your budget too. Either way .. whether your gonna game on a Sony or LG you won’t be disappointed with either .. Sony is more about movies and Lg is more about Games. So pretty much just pick your poison. lol ..
I cant decide between these 3 models. C9, Pana 950, sony A8.
Mainly for movies as don't play games. Picture quality is most important. Any recommendations would be greatfull.

You can already run 1080/1440p@120hz with VRR on HDMI 2.0 on some of last years TV's. But make no mistake XB1X/PS5 or the next XB will not be able to hit anywhere near 120fps, let alone at 4K. So appart from VRR there is no real benefit in terms of gameplay with HDMI 2.1 and XB1X as 99.9% of the games are 30fps.
How is the upscaling of 720p content? Specifically with American football and the motion/artifacts around players?

Had a few questions regarding C9. You mentioned Burn ins. Are there ways in settings to run a refresh rate or burn test that can be ran every time an overuse on the unit? Next question, I have an eye on the GX 77 but am not too keen about the differences between the C9 and GX77 if the price is $3,000 a part from each other. With respect of your attendance at CES and knowing the C9 77 inch better than me, is getting a newer unit worth it with the a9 gen 3 processor from Gen 2? What is your take on it if the normalcy with me would be to run blueray instead of streaming????? Greatly appreciate your input on making a decent buying decision on an LG product.

@ProseColored Glasses Too bad for gamers the eARC still doesn't support multi-channel PCM sound from gaming consoles.
@ProseColored Glasses And even though the multi-channel PCM is still not supported through eARC, if I remember my home theatre set up stuff correctly lol, is that for if you want the sound to be passed from the TV to the receiver and then speakers if a gaming console is connected to the TV? Great review. But how do you think the Sony A9G will compare?
Why is it you say at the end, TVs nowadays only run for approx 5 - 7 years. Not longer like before?
I think it is because they used to be built much better but also because advances in the technology are happening more rapidly now, look at a tv from 7 years ago and it seems like a dinosaur now.

I have the LG 55Nano866NA which is a year newer than the LG C9, but I'm tempted by OLED. Would you say it's worth trading in, or is it worth sticking with the Nano866NA for now and getting a newer OLED. The picture quality is still amazing on my Nano, so I'm not sure if it's worth it or not, just for those deeper blacks?
Thinking about buying the 55 inch C9. Would anyone recommend buying an extended warranty with it?
If you buy the extended warranty at Best Buy they cover burn in.
Just buy it from Richer Sounds as they offer 6 years no nonsense warranty, that's if you live in England of course
What is the consensus on using dynamic tone mapping for the HDR settings, on or off on the c9? Many reviewers seem to like it, but the more heavy ones (like rtings) prefer it off. Do you set it to off or on? On looks too bright, especially in game mode but do add detail in very bright scenes.
Also, do you prefer using the RGB setting or 4:2:0 when connecting it to a Nvidia GPU? Activating HDR when setting it to RGB FULL looks exactly the same as setting it to 4:2:0 or 4:2:2 for me...
cannot wait for the G-sync firmware update!
Have b7 for about 18 months. Burn in is real. Lg replaced the panel outside of warranty because of the amount of complaints at no charge. Buyer beware. Normal video usage for me.
Define "normal".

As in watch TV for maybe 15 hours per week. Variety of channels. A big cloud of green appeared in the middle of the screen along with logo burn in. Tech said this is was a known issue that's why the replaced panel outside of warranty.
Thanks for sharing this insight!
@@derict239 Interesting, I have the same TV. I game on it a lot (3-8 hours sessions) and watch movies both at 4K HDR high brightness, no issues so far. I've had it for almost a year now. I wonder if it has to do with the content and how often they change on the screen. You mentioned logo stuck. Sounds like you have static content?
@@LittleMopeHead
Not really sure. I know the tech said it's something LG is aware of. Just remember if you do have an issue they will cover it on a case by case basis. I have pics of the damage, but it's no option to load on here.
Kudos for explaining the AI upscaling in such a clear way! Most reviews I've seen present it as "magic", but you explain that it works by extrapolating from what it learned on a large bank of images.
i'm sold.. but may wait for the C10 just cause im starting my research.. great review!!!!
Get Sony A8G
Which one would be better to get, this TV or the Samsung Q90 ?
Can’t wait to get it
Same here, I been using 2016 C6P oled as my PC monitor, this one will be my new PC Monitor.
I will be buying one this week, right before thanksgiving cause MOST big tv makers don't let retailers lower their tv sets as much as they like, and most retailers don't go lower than other retailers. I need to find the A/V receiver now. Good info, you can bet I will be back for more of your expertise. THANKS
Watch the bird closely between 3:21 and 3:26. You can see the image get brighter on it's on. I thought this was an issue that was meant to be resolved? Anyone else see it?
Yes but it's very minor. Burn in is still the bigger problem.
There probably was a bear that stepped out of the way
Nice looking Kef speakers. What model are they?
Does it make the Battle Of Winterfell look better ?
🙀 haha
I am thinking of buying one because it is much cheaper than the C ones, but do you advice me to get the 65 or the 55? (I am planning to keep it for a good 5 years)
"TV's aren't meant to last more than 7 years".....for that money sir, it better.
That's for sure.
Always enjoy your reviews. I have heard over and over again 5-7 years out of this TV? I have a Panasonic Plasma (50") that I bought in 2002. I watch WAY to much TV and the set is on at least 4-6 hours a day, expensive since it runs at 650 watts. The thing is, I want to replace it with a 4k but there is NOTHING wrong with my Pani... And then you have the Plasma vs. OLED?
Appreciate any input or advice you may have.
GOT S8E3 will be the reference test material for banding issues...LOL
And all TV's I can't wait test my B⅞😃😂🤣
HBO Go supports neither 4K nor HDR. 10bit color would improve the banding issue with that episode a LOT. They are falling so much behind other streaming services. :|
DT seems to have some of the best 4k cameras on YT, their picture is great!
Also static image helps but watch any good material on youtibe and soon as camera moves bitrates starts to show
We need LG B9 vs C9 video
My LG B6 developed a 1” burn spot that was permanently black after 1yr. It wasn’t a big deal as it was right at bottom but another year later it developed a dark line vertically. So in my opinion the OLED is a 1-3 year TV. I bought a C9 so lets see how long that lasts.
How’s that c9 hanging in there?
Anyone know how the upscaling is from a 720p source for football?
Matt Romej yes I actually tried this on an old camcorder video on my new LG C9 and it looks great and I was extremely surprised for the quality! Would highly recommend to you
Should I get this or the Samsung qled? I mainly do a lot of gaming in my TV!
Pretty sure it helps to have HDMI 2.1 cables since they can handle up to 48 Gbps with ethernet
Guh. You are absolutely correct. I will make that absolutely clear in all future videos discussing HDMI 2.1. Not to proud to admit I blew that one.
@@Caleb_Denison Current Cables are good enough for eARC, if you dont have a PC video card with HDMI 2.1 [no one does right now] or next gen console like PS5 AND its powerful enough to push 4K/120fps, there is no need for HDMI 2.1 cables
@@NoBodysGamer helloo, loseless Audio?
@@Caleb_Denison Hey sir, I was just wondering if you could take 1 min out of your day to please respond. I just found a 77 inch 2019 C9 LG at Costco today. They want $2,249 for it. Its brand new and seems like a absolute steal. Is it still future proof in your opinion? I mean you can only be so future proof. But do you still feel good about in 2 years later (April 2021) Thank you so much! Best part is I still get a 5 year warranty and its brand new from Costco! :)
@@Caleb_Denison and just to explain, the c9 77 inch has been sitting in the back this whole time of the Costco store. Now for $2,249. Im beyond excited about getting it tomorrow. They are holding for me since I gotta call my bank before I buy it..
Just bought C9 55". I don't have the enough speed to run 4K but still the tv is very good. I would probably add some speakers to it. Downsize: my remote keeps disconnecting, they will send a new one in few days.
Radoo would love to hear how it’s going I want the same model and want a nice soundbar and sub
Get 4k Blu-ray player or you can run an Ethernet cable from your TV to your router
The current Xbox One X already supports freesync btw.
Doesnt seem like C9 Oled is gonna support freesync, only VRR. Too bad, was hoping to use it with my Xbox One X. Might just go for C8 now.
Awesome review. I have a question if you don't mind... I tend to watch tv until i sleep and leave it open for lets say 10hrs a day everyday... Is this tv would be best for me or should i be worried about burning it out? Looking forward for your advice and thanks in advance.
Marlowe
Yes, but there are ways to prevent it. You can turn on screen saver for example. Or sleep more after 2 hours.
Maybe I should buy this to watch season 8 episode 3 of Game of Thrones.
I have last year's model, it still sucks lol
What about the burn in OLED screen , is there any Burn in issue in LG C9 OLED?
Until they fix the Burn-In Issue, I'm not getting an OLED. I don't care how good the picture looks, it's not worth it if you have images burned in for life.
Have s plasma for 11 yrs now. Never had burn in. Sometimes slight retention that goes away.
Random question, what type of entertainment center do you display your TV's on? It looks great!
