- This is a performance of the very first Free song Paul Rodgers ever wrote named "Walk In My Shadow". Performed here with a Soul twist, Paul and his band show their versatility.
About Free: Free were an English rock band formed in London in 1968, best known for their 1970 signature song "All Right Now". They disbanded in 1973; lead singer Paul Rodgers went on to become the frontman of the band Bad Company, which also featured his Free bandmate Simon Kirke on drums.

This bloke is the best rock male vocalist hands down..been that way since 1968..knows how interpretation in performance is done both live and in studio.
Still the best Rock singer.
Agreed. Check out Jay wirh rival sons.
The absolute best singer ever! At 70 he's only refined his voice. Not many singers get better as they age.
He most definitely sings straight from the soul! ❤️❤️❤️
I first heard of
Paul so many years ago and still my fave male singer by far. Still got it. Has given me so much pleasure. Thanks!
I've been listening to Paul's music from the beginning of his career to the present lately and his voice has only gotten better which is something that rarely happens. Awesome!!!
Jules I totally agree, I saw BC several times in the 70’s and in 2018 at Bridgestone Arena Nashville and he is even better than I remembered. My son had stepped out to go to the restroom before they had started and when he came back and set down, he said “I thought they were playing a record” and it was Paul just doing his thing !!!
@@glen7589 He really is awesome!
He has a voice like no other. It never changes or falters and sounds like a fine tuned instrument.
So true, when you talk about consistency Paul has to come up. He has a 40+ year career documented on youtube and it's impossible to find him sounding like he has a rough day.
Let’s get one thing clear, his voice hasn’t got better, maybe you just appreciate it now, believe me, fifty years ago his voice was fooking awesome.
Oh Hell Yeah. Mad respect for this man. He has earned his place in history.
What can I say. This is Paul Rodgers. Period.
The Voice
What a voice !!!!!!!!!!
FREE Forever!!!!!
Got to be one of the most un-PC songs ever...bet the girls in the front row loved it 💓😁🤘
Magnificent! This man's voice is just magical.
I have loved Paul Rodgers since the 60's & he did & still does have one of the best voices ever!
WOW!! Blew me away, Paul!
You just keep getting better with time !!! 👏🎶👌🎤🌟
Seen him 4 times gets better every time can sing a phone book and make it sound amazing
The Best,soul/blues/rock singer about since late 60's...I was right at the front at Liverpool Stadium to see the original Free! ❤❤❤
I keep studying...What a voice.
Sounds awesome
Mmmm, this is brilliant! Pauls voice shines as usually. Nice of you to share.
Brilliant version, what a voice tho regardless of whatever way he sings it 🙌 👌
Super freakin' cool version Paul
Paul Rogers has always been one of my favorite people his voice is so smooth and powerful thanks Paul for being the best
Nothing could be more soulful than Andy Fraser's funky Rock&Roll groove bass playing with Koss' on guitar and Kirke
💘
Best underated voice in ROCK !> that was Killer!!
Paul Rodgers, as they say, could sing the phone book and it would sound amazing.
I so well remember coming home with this album and it still goes on when I need a shot of Free to start or end my day. Love this version. Super soul....
I had to get up and dance to this! My God , he's fantabulous at everything he does! ❤️
Oh boy, oh boy what a superb reworking of an already brilliant song!! Keep those vids coming, Paul, top man 👍👉😊

Wow , is this 'bout 2000? Which year?

This show is brilliant, but this isn't the same without Koss. I still like it though.
