    I always go for 243 setup. I set the production to alternate between exp and lmd based on amount of days left on a month. I hoard a lot of gold bars until the start of new month. Then I switch to exp production and enjoy both having peak exp and lmd production.
    When the gold bars run out, I shift into gold bar production and still end it at the end of the month no matter how many days are left. Even if I run out of gold bars just 3 days before the month changes.

    I would loooove a guide on high production base combinations. Gamepress used to have one but it's like 3 years out of date now and there are so many new and good operator base combos. I'm sure there are some I'm missing out on because I'm not getting every operator to E2 so a video on that would be much appreciated.

    • @zoneoftruth
      @zoneoftruth Год назад +6

      a lot of info circulates mostly on the gamepress discord's ak section, which sucks because from there it's not accessible to the public while searching. there's a google doc that's up to date and gets passed around pretty frequently in the server. afaik a bunch of the people who used to write articles stopped playing, and something was up with the host of the site i think? i just know that several months ago all the comments disappeared and no one can comment on any new articles, that feature is just gone, so more and more, info gets confined towards the server.

      Even if Gamepress is outdated, I don't think there are that many or any new good operator base combo currently in global.
      At least, no one that isn't going to result in the same rate as existing combos or that their skill description are straight-foreword and don't really need a "combo" to be good.
      Some that I noticed are:
      - Gnosis being able to negate Jaye's E1 downside which increase the efficiency with Jaye/SilverAsh/Cliffheart from a 95% to a 125% production (although not better then running a Tequila/Shamare/Bibeak setup with a Fiammetta to keep the ramp-up)
      - Greyy the Lightningbearer being another +20% drone recovery operator and can improve gold production for those using operator who uses power plant to increase factory productivity (Passenger, Eunectes, Weedy, etc) at E2
      - Heidi with a +35% Trading Post efficiency (same as Exusiai)
      - Proviso (Idk about this one, I heard people saying she has a strong combo but I don't see it)
      - Highmore opening up more possible operators to get a total of +90% Trading Post efficiency when running with Mizuki, which is simply the standard total for most operators
      - Dorothy who would just bring up Rhine Lab operators Factory productivity from +75% to +90% (This will increase to 95% after Silence Alter release with her +30% Rhine Technology·γ skill which can increase to +35%)
      Let me know if I'm missing anyone drastic, since everyone else either have straight-foreword descriptions, the same existing productivity, base skills with complex description that basically provide the same productivity, base skill that requires a lot of maintenance and has too many constraints and tradeoffs (Such as the Worldly Plight or Sensory Information mess), or that they're just default base skill that aren't used in any combos.

      @@andrewnguyen1117 Provisio is broken in that she makes it so that any order that is not 4 gold bars, get +1k lmd while still taking the same amount of time for the base value (1k and 1.5k production time), so 1k becomes 2k and 1.5k becomes 2.5k. this gets extremely good for 2-5-2 setups because you can leave a trading post at lvl2 (which cannot produce 4 gold bar orders at all) and upgrade another factory to lvl3 for more gold bars or exp. it is still good in 2-4-3 setups but lower efficiency due to the fact that lvl3 trading post do not benefit when the order is 4. for me Provisio eats up so many gold bars that I end up having to swap between 3 gold, 2 exp and 3 exp, 2 gold for my 2-5-2 set up.

    The timer is always the time for the ops to keep working, if you want to know how much time it takes to fill a trading post you have to do the math with the max capacity number, que amount of slots it uses, the time it takes for a item to be made, and the reduction of time because of productivity, with ends up being (too much math to be bothered)

      Just to simplify it, 24 morale will keep an operator working for up to 24 hours. (Note: I'm not including operator's base skill)
      Each active operators that are in the Control Center will reduce -0.05 morale for all working operator in the base.
      If 1/3 operators is in a trading post or factory station, they'll consume 1 morale per hour; 2/3 operators will consume 0.95 morale per hour; and 3/3 operator will consume 0.9 morale per hour.
      So at best, an average operator would drain all 24/24 morale in almost 37 hours (or 36 hour and 55 minute). 24 / 0.65 = 36.92~

      Yep, also would like to add, at the bare minimum, 24 morale would drain in 24 hours, having a command center with 5 operators will increase it to 32 hour and for the individual factories/trading post, having 2 or 3 operators working will increase it to ~32.28 and ~36.92 hours (this is excluding operators’ skills that can further increase or decrease their morale time).

    • @Zack_Zander
      @Zack_Zander Год назад

      For factory, the time remaining is actually for when the station fill up, up until they run out of of morale.
      This is because the operator should be able to work for over 24 hours (excluding skill that increase morale uses), and that if you gather the resource, the time would increase up until the point their morale would hit 0.
      Trading Post doesn’t do that and just shows the full morale time.

      More Productivity and Efficiency is better - it means you are producing more and thus increasing the overall rewards. The caveat being if you don't allow your base to hit capacity because your workers are working fast fast fast fast fast then stop because they literally cannot make anymore - but this is only a problem with people who login once a day. If you do two logins like most typical Arknights players, this should not be a concern.

      Mr. Nothing ends up being a very strong operator with Provisio - the caveat being you need access to all the Sui Siblings (E2 Ling, rest can be E0) and Mulberry E2 to make him reach STRONK productivity. It's not worth E2ing those operators just for base slave purposes, but the total +efficiency on Mr. Nothing becomes 75% which is absolutely absurd for a single operator to have when the typical average is +30%

      @ChaosMind10531 Год назад

      For Whisperain and Mulberry... From what i read you basically base them on how much morale is left with the Suis since they will affect either the trading post (Worldly Plight) or factory ( Memory Fragment/Perception Information...

    • @andrewnguyen1117
      @andrewnguyen1117 Год назад +2

      Dusk and Ling works together since Ling's first base skill "Keep the Wine Flowing" remove self-affecting mood reduction effects, as in the self mood reduction per hour +0.5 on Dusk's second base skill "Unmoved by Loss" or Chongyue's first base skill "Knowing Yourself, to be Yourself"
      The thing about Ling and Dusk is the way they generate Worldly Plight and Sensory Information are opposite:
      Ling creates 15 Worldly Plight when "above" 12 morale and 10 Sensory Information when "below" 12 morale.
      Dusk creates 15 Worldly Plight when "below" 12 morale and 10 Sensory Information when "above" 12 morale.
      In short, they cancel each other out so that at least one of them will be creating 15 Worldly Plight while the other will be creating 10 Sensory Information.
      As for the Whisperain and Mulberry situation, that's a different story.
      Whisperain creates up to 20 Memory Fragments (since 2 of the 4 recruitment slot are initial slots) while Mulberry creates 20 Worldly Plight.
      *_However,_* literally none of the Operators that I mentioned above (except Chongyue, but he was just as an example) uses Worldly Plight or Sensory Information. They only create them.
      The only operators that uses Worldly Plight are Chongyue, Jieyun, Mr. Nothing, and Wind Chimes.
      Meanwhile, the only operators that uses Sensory Information are Rosmontis and Ebenholz.
      Therefore, if you don't use any operators that uses Worldly Plight or Sensory Information, then there's no reason to create Worldly Plight or Sensory Information.

I think the game needs to have some kind of auto option to setup automatically good combo of workers in your base. Not gonna lie all this base management shit made me play the game less. • @Zack_Zander
      @Zack_Zander Год назад

      While there are other command center synergies, I wouldn’t really recommend it unless you are willing to spend even more time managing operator from the command center as well.
      (And even more if they require other operator to use the resource the command center produce, For example: Using Ling or Dusk for Rosmontis in the Factory and Mr. Nothing in the Trading Post, or Alter Yato and Noir for the those 1* Cats)

    • @Zack_Zander
      @Zack_Zander Год назад

      I take back what I said, I just recently found a strong command center setup for players who want to make all operators morale last as long as possible with Młynar and 4 other operators providing default +0.05 morale recovery. The thing is that this doesn't work with R6 Operator.
      Which this setup, you can add about ~20 hours to every operators in the Power Plant, Factory, Trading Post, HR Office, and Reception Room which lets a player have a longer frame to switch out Factory or Trading Post combos.
      While you won't be able to have an R6 Command Center with 1 Operator buffing Factories or Trading Post, it should make the base more flexible.

    To people that don't want to engage with the base gameplay: why are you even playing this game? Why do you spend your time on it when there are things you don't like? If you don't like it - just quit. I honestly don't understand this half-assed approach when you do engage with the content of the game, but just barely because you don't like it. Gacha games are designed to put you in a disadvantage to encourage you to spend money. So to have a good time with it, you have to play as optimally as you can, or spend money. Or don't bother at all

    • @pramanakumalaputra507

      What? Why should people be engaged with base to enjoy or play Arknights? Arknights is mostly about tower defense not base simulator. I don't see any problem with people that doesn't want to bother with base because it's actually annoying. People can still enjoy playing Arknights maybe because it is a fun tower defense game with additional gameplay (IS, SSS) or because Arknights has good story and world building.
      I don't see any logic reasons in 'people should quit Arknights because they don't want to engage with base'

    • @aichisendou6375
      @aichisendou6375 Год назад

      You cannot spend money to do anything in the base, in fact you will just lose rl money for nothing. Base gives lmd and exp tickets, and these 2 resources, without base, is a crawl to farm, imagine spending 300 sanity just for a dust of lmd that cant even cover the cost of an operator to base minimum level to equip module from 0. Like it or not, people that hate the base mechanic as a whole still have to at least half-assed the base just for a functional and automated farm for the 2 most universally needed resources. Base is essential not just for how much automation they gives but also how much sanity, both versions of them, theyll save by existing. And also, you cant show them the door, that is not how any game works, in general. It is okay to hate or have a or multiple issues with a or some part of the game and love the other parts, that shows that youre a real fan of the game instead of being blinded and calling a game perfect in every way when it clearly is an issue

    Frankly, between the 8:20 and 14:55 marks (before and after which is very good), this feels like the most barebones guide... Like, yes, as you mentioned I can see the total productivity by trying stuff out, but it's much faster to just math it out... it's addition guys... Furthermore, you go through that scenario of "Oh I don't know how Dorothy skill works, let's try it out". Is the implication to combine Dorothy with every other operator to see if the production happens to go higher than expected while still not understanding why it works? I don't think this is teaching anything other than reading comprehension... Maybe if some combos are weak then sure, maybe it's worse than just putting in three 25% productivity boost operators, but most of the time if it specifically calls out other ops, the combo isn't weak.
    It's not like you don't still need to read the skills. The second part of the video is really just "Oh if you aren't sure what this skill does, did you know you can test it out? If you don't want to do Math, did you know you can just do trial and error and check the results?"
    I also think that there could've been some mention that newer players are likely to have a lower amount of LMD and EXP gained, especially if they haven't finished their base and/or have many operators that boost productivity.
