past weekend 1st time using DW TripZ jet 40 but keep flipping over and become top water ?? Did you hv same problem before ?

In 20 feet I want to get to about 17. If I let out 80 on the jet 20 will that work? This off planer board's.

I would start with 60' of line out then work your way out from there. The depending factors on depth adjustment will depend on current, speed, and type of line used. I use braid which has less drag on the line and in turn helps me to get a little deeper, but makes it a little more challenging to get shallower.If you are using mono it will be somewhat easier to get a little shallower.Jets are depth specific but you can adjust the length of line out to go shallower or deeper.
